Played my first game of spearhead( and TT war game) last week after buying the skaventide box. Super excited to get into the bigger games in the future, but this is such a quick and easy format
Agree. It's such a good gateway into playing Age of Sigmar. I found my love of the game through small 2000point tournaments. The community is really friendly and supportive of new players.
The Money value category here is quite suspicious: The difference between one star and 3 stars is... basically nothing. 67% is 4 stars, 62% is 1 star: We are probably talking 10 pounds. Compare that to popularity, where some units can be basically useless, come in a block of 10, and not make that big of a difference.
Yeah, this did bother me a little when putting the review together. It's essentially based on a 25% and 75% deviation. Given the range is quite small its a tight window. Essentially, all of the boxes give a good amount of saving. I think the higher scoring for popularity are at the moment best *value*. But then we will get another battlescroll update and these units will change around in popularity.
Let me know what you think of the Spearhead boxes? Are you thinking of starting a new army with one of these as the foundation?

Should I just get the skaventide box if I want to have two spearhead armies?
Yeah, I did, plus the spearhead rules, board and cards.
Yes. It's such a good value box for getting two armies on the table.
