    Flying is one of those things where we all have our annoyances. Maybe the person sitting next to you is taking the arm rest, there’s a kid behind you kicking your seat or the food doesn’t taste good. Or, you might be someone who absolutely loves flying and can’t get enough of it. Flying has become one of the most popular modes of transportation, especially when it comes to international travel. You can get halfway across the world in a matter of hours, and you can enjoy a beverage or two as you watch the world pass you by from your window. The people who are the forefront of air travel are the flight attendants. They are usually the people all dressed up serving us food and drinks who also show us how to put on the oxygen mask and point out where the exits are. They not only make sure that we, the passengers, are having an enjoyable flight, but also that everyone is safe and everything runs smoothly. Sure, the pilots fly the plane and help us reach our destination. But it’s the flight attendants who run the operation. But just because they work in the service industry, it doesn’t mean that they are always happy with us.
    In this video, you’re going to learn about 10 kinds of passengers that flight attendants hate. From larger passengers to high maintenance people to parents who think their children are perfect, flight attendants have to deal with a lot. Watch and find out if you make the list!

    I am wheelchair bound, so I do need some automatic looking after, but since I am pleasant and kind to the flight attendents, they are very good to me. They will even come and check to see if I need to use the facilities in flight and help me down the aisle if I do.(Usually I try to go before we take off.) The flight attendents will often just come up and hang out and visit with me and do things to amuse me. It's very nice. Especially Delta. Delta's the best.

      @@layladventures I'm so sorry I missed your post! I fly Delta now, to the excursion of all other domestic airlines. Delta crew and staff always treat me like a princess! The F/As always sneak me extra Biscoffs because I love them so much, lol! They're so addictive! I am always pampered on a Delta flight, no matter how long it is. Your old motto is so right: Delta- we love to fly and it shows! Indeed it does, which is why I'm willing to pay a little extra to fly your airline! I almost never have delay issues with Delta, either. Delta's on time performance is second to none! When my doctors allow me to be airborne in the spring again(I haven't had COVID, but I've been very ill) I want to start a travel vlog, and I hope Delta will sponsor me so I can give them tons of free advertising! My mother was a flight attendant for quite some time, in fact, my dad is a Captain, and that's how they met. According to her, if they're not busy (though, they usually are), flight attendants generally appreciate a bit of small talk, such as showing gratitude and appreciation for their hard work, asking how their days are going, travel destinations, etcetera. Just being friendly and outgoing, following instructions, and basic human interaction skills goes a long way according to her. She was an FA for about 12 years before she had me. Both worked and my dad still works for American Airlines. Just a little tip to make traveling more pleasurable for all parties! :)

      Right, what IS fair is allowing them to sit next to me or any thin/normal sized person and take up part of our seat as well. Always such a pleasure. I've noticed that fat people never want to sit next to other fat people on airplanes. I've actually had obese people on both sides of me on a flight before, and their fat literally spilled over my armrest/into my seat. So I lose about half my space thanks to these people... I mean, wtf... if they aren't going to be charged for two seats, they should at least have to sit next to one another when possible.

    I bought plane tickets for myself and my mom when she was 400+ lbs. I bought two for my mom because I didn't want to cause problems. This caused problems with my mom when no one sat next to her but it helped inspire her to lose weight. Shes 195 now and buys her own plane tickets. It's fair.

    I’ve flown on planes multiple times a year for literally every year of my life. Not one have I encountered “bros” or first class dads. Also, it is completely fair to charge someone extra if they are taking up more space and are more weight on the plane. More weight means more fuel. That’s why bags are charges extra after exceeding 50 lbs.

Violence is not the answer, if they were noisy you could put on some headphones. I enjoyed flying the first tie that I flew from Chicago to Los Angeles in 1954. The seat was roomy and comfortable, and the flight attendants were very helpful. Since then the flight experience has deteriorated with every flight taken.. My husband and I fly to England every few years to visit his family, and the worst part of the trip is the flight. After being shoehorned into those tiny seats, and having limited ability to walk around, all of our joints felt frozen. It's not the flight crew, or the passengers (for the most part) but the airline trying to squeeze every inch and every cent out of travelers.

    Sometimes you’ve got to give parents some slack . I flew to America from the uk at the beginning of the year .
    There was a couple who had two little girls and the mum was pregnant . She looked exhausted trying to accommodate the older 3 yr old and dad was looking after the quieter younger one . Eventually I invited the 3 year old (with Mum’s permission)to sit with me across the aisle as my friend had moved to the empty seats behind .
    We got some pens and the inflight magazines and began to look for colours and animals and draw. I also was pointing out things at the window and we watched a movie . I also taught her the art of whispering.
    I can’t have children but have a knack of getting along well with them . The mum got to have some sleep and my new wee friend learned to write her name and her numbers .
    I find it hard to listen to people complaining or watching someone struggle .

    I'll hydrate myself and relieve it while inside the terminal before getting on the plane. While in the plane I will not drink coffee since it goes through me and will wet my mouth only with the bottled water I receive on the plane. So far so good because I've never had to use a bathroom on a plane. I love window seats because I can lean against the wall.

      Jesus is Lord Do you think that fast food is cheap. Did you know that’s it’s actually been proven that buying a nice healthy meal from the supermarket is cheaper than buying a fast food meal. So don’t say they can’t afford it because if they can afford all that junk food, then they can afford normal food. And genetic disorders are still no excuse. My uncle has a genetic disorder that makes losing weight extremely difficult, but always him to gain weight really quickly. You want to know what he did. He got up and decided to exercise. And he didn’t need any expensive videos or gym memberships. He just ran everyday and did normal workout at home, and now, he is healthy and in shape. Disorders are no excuse to create an inconvenience in someone’s lives.

      It depends on what you do when you "stay at home" - if you are going grocery shopping, dropping off and picking multiple kids off, cooking dinner every night, keeping the house spotlessly clean, etc. it is more work than a full-time 40 hr/week job. "Stay at home" mom doesn't mean you sit around and watch TV for half the day. It means you get your errands done while the kids are in school, then cook dinner and help kids with homework when they are home from school.

    • @mylittlegator
      @mylittlegator 6 лет назад +5

      At least when I was a stay at home mom I had the luxury of just worrying about the home, kids and meals. As a working mom I get to be responsible for all those things and work a 40 hr work week. As I've said, I have the perspective of both sides and am perfectly capable of deciding who has it harder.

    • @somebodypiano6191
      @somebodypiano6191 6 лет назад +1

      That makes sense. Work + kids is definitely more work, but usually when a family is in a stay-at-home + working parent setup, one parent does majority of the housework, errands, childcare, etc. and the other parent focuses on their career/job. In that case, being a stay-at-home mom/dad can be harder than a full-time job, especially if the full-time job does not demand a lot of physical labor. As a stay-at-home mom, you are on your feet for many hours of the day, some of them cleaning, some of them grocery shopping and running errands, and others cooking. After all this work, you are exhausted by the end of the day.

    Ok. I did one of these things. I asked my flight attendant to move me to a different seat bcs "the engine was too loud". In my defense, the "engine" was actually a group of motor-mouths who insisted on shouting their conversation, even though they were close enough that they could whisper, in stead of shouting in my ear. Due to the fact that they were part of my university excursion, I didn't want to cause issue with them, hence asking to be moved. This is the only time I have asked to be moved.
    Sorry flight attendant.

      That's an excellent way of putting it. SOUTHWEST seems to be pretty proactive about this issue. They charge folks who can't fit in one seat 1/2 price for a second seat. If the customer refuses, they put them on the plane while its empty, ask the passenger to sit in a seat and if the armrest can't be lowered because of their girth, they are made to pay for the second seat or they are denied travel.
