There were a ton of golden bricks in that old sith temple... which makes me think of the Lego Star Wars games, but it's probably not a reference or anything.

It definitely made for some good “What if” stories. What if Luke joined the empire, what if Leia became the rebel hero, and what if maul was on dathomir when grievous invaded!

I believe that the jawas stealing Luke's speeder was a reference to the lego Star Wars TCS level "Mos Eisley Spaceport." In the level, if you leave your speeder unattended a jawa will come and steal it temporarily.

@@mitchellpalmer7578 Actually its a reference to one of the Georges Lucas movies : THX 1138. So 1138 is referenced many time in Star Wars. For example, Leia was locked in cell 1138 on the death star in a new hope

The old Imperial that was with the Academy recruiter when he gave Luke the pilot uniform was Tarkin.
The droid making the The Shining reference has "1138" in his name, which is a movie George Lucas made called "THX 1138"
I noticed that in the lost boy story there was some music taken straight from the force awakens without being cut and it actually fit the scene perfectly
39 actually pays homage to some original Return of the Jedi concept art where the Emperor was first envisioned as residing in a volcanic lair instead of the throne room of the Death Star.
Then Rise of Skywalker later used the same design for the emperor’s throne that was shown in the painting.
The hand reaching up to grab the droid, was a refernce to Sue Snell’s nightmare at the end of Carrie. Sue dreams that she visits Carrie’s grave, and Carrie reaches up from the grave, and grabs Sue’s arm
I’m not big into horror, but the 1974 novel and the 1976 film adaptation are the most iconic. Still, I really like the latter’s sequel, _The Rage: Carrie 2,_ the 2002 _Carrie_ TV movie, and the 2013 big screen remake.

There actually 2 different references to anakin's death in return of the sith. In the dueling monstrosities story the way grevious cuts maul in half again is the same way Anakin was cut in half by obi-one. and also the droid climbing out of the lava in mustafar is another reference to the closing scene of the anakin vs obi-one duel.
The scene with Han and kylo REN was amazing, kylo isn’t forgiving himself and Han isn’t a force ghost like some haters say
Kylo is reliving the moment where he committed his worst personal act of killing his father, and him herring his lightsaber shows that
So it’s not a weird force vision, remember it’s being told from kylos perspective
This scene isn’t the battle of naboo or Geonosis, that’s what I call “bad writing”
I dunno, I can imagine Vader understands the power of the dramatic entrance.
Also, I love the little detail in Rogue One that the bacta splashes a little as it lowers, implying Vader is actually holding it around himself, and there’s no glass.

There is a Shining reference in Lego Ninjago Hands of Time where the Ninja are facing Acronix, at the ruins of the Monestory, you can just see Acronix's face in the flames and Acronix says "here's Acrony."

Shortly after the lost boy story you can see captain Rex's outfit in the background with other stormtroopers right before they go to the door and have poe open it and when Luke was learning to choke officers if you look hard enough you can realize that 2 of those officers were officers from freemaker adventures Durpan and Plumestriker

Before one of the tales, I can't remember which but it was either the second or third, Vanee says "Submitted got your approval..." which is a reference to the old Nickelodeon show "Are You Afraid of the Dark" which was a kids horror anthology show with the framing device being a group of kids called the Midnight Club telling scary stories to each other in a spooky forest at, you guessed it, midnight. Before each story the kid telling it would say "Submitted for your approval..." just like Vanee did.

@@harshpatil5211 Gorge Lucas created Star Wars he also made a movie called 1138 and it a very popular si-fi movie, and Lucas has been know to put that number in Star Wars movies or shows for a fair amount of time
The Luke Jedi school part is the route they should have gone with for the sequel movies. They should have started off with Luke training students . Ben solo and Rey should have been Luke’s students. Ben Solo could have become jealous of Rey and her abilities and joined a “biker gang” basically in the form of the Knights of Ren. He could have tried to destroy Luke’s school out of jealousy. Rey still could have been revealed to be the grand daughter of Palpatine if they wanted to go that route. But they really didn’t have to do that. It could have just been a love story between Rey and Ben where they had this force connection. The First Order could have been present or it could have been a secret Empire remanent that Ben tried to take control of to get back at his Uncle Luke. By the 3rd movie Ben could have been turned to the dark side completely where Rey worked to turn him back to the light. The Luke Jedi Academy simply would have been a way better start to the trilogy. Luke could have been a grand master Jedi and at some point sacrifices himself. Or he just could have lost his vision or something and became less of a threat because he had to learn how to function as a blind old man. Rey would then become the hero in the end. What a missed opportunity. I still can’t believe they didn’t put any thought into those new movies. It’s painful to watch. How are we stuck with these movies?

You are forgetting another important detail over why wedge was replaced by kenobi in the trench run scene in the terrifying tales... possibly the easter egg that the actor who plays wedge is actually the uncle of Ewan Mcgregor..most famously known as Space Jesus Obi wan Kenobi
