What was Dr Aprill's Ph.D. thesis on? I think he's right about commonalities. Robert Keller says the same thing when it comes to ready up drills. It's the most likely position to be in, bringing your weapon into action from a low ready position. I think having someone like Eliran Feildboy on a podcast like this would benefit yourselves and your audience. Why? He has done similar work in terms of human behavioural responses, hormonal response, et cetera, during Force-on-Force training with sim-munitions/man-marking rounds. There are COMMON observable behaviours that feed into a competitive firefight. So 'training on the common first' is not just the most common SKILLS but behaviours under stress.
