It really brings back memories of my childhood that are from 2008 & 2009 and now I can’t stop listening to it over and over. The coin is named Gorsenzo. If you take too long on a level, the coin will start chasing you around the mansion and it can even kill you while you’re bouncing on the trampoline. So be careful! On the NES version, the coin is colored blue instead of green due to palette limitations.

The game of cat and mouse, where you play the police mouse, Mappy. You have to get back stuff the Mewkies and Nyamco, or Goro, have stolen. IMO one of Namco's greatest games of all time, and at almost 40 years old, it stands the test of time, even today.

The last time I played this was when I was about 6 (and no I was not around when the game was made. It was at Walmart so I brought it and got a whole usb for about 12 arcade games)
@@TommyzWorld here’s a tip. Go and memorise all of the levels from 1 to 16, after 16 it loops back to round 1. Memorisation is the key here,as well as patterns,but unlike dig dug and Pac-Man,you can make you’re own style of patterns.
@@laurababyyy1 That's one of the big reasons why I prefer Mappy over Dig Dug and Pacman. Mappy has more variety in terms of Gameplay and mechanics, so Mappy has more various ways how you want to play and what style of pattern you choose to do. Pacman and Dig Dug doesn't have much of that. Also, I find Mappy much more fun than Dig Dug and Pacman overall. It still boggles my mind Mappy is not as popular as Dig Dug and Pacman despite Mappy is a really great game.
This is back in the day when it's mainly about getting a high score rather than showing endings. But according to the storyline of Mappy canonically, Mappy did stop the crimes of Goro and the Meowkies, recovering all the stolen items, and put Goro and the Meowkies behind bars. So Mappy did achieved it.
@@laurababyyy1 Mappy is just that awesome :) He stopped their crimes without guns or any weapons. But Goro and the Meowkies did escape prison to try to revenge on Mappy in the sequels. According to the storyline of Hopping Mappy, they trapped Mappy in a green field of maze. And Mappy has to escape with a pogostick by collecting the key items.

There’s one way to freeze the Goro Disk, the falling pit. If the Disk falls it drops and stops for a short while.

三周目が難易度max なので、そこまででプレイを打ち切ったようですね。コンマ数秒単位で高得点を得ている様子が、同じく50面まで到達した事のある自分にも良くわかりました。
ただし、コンマ数秒だとミスしやすいために高得点を捨てて時間を残す自分のやり方とは、多少異なったプレイなのがわかります。
テクニックもいわゆる正統派のやり方であり、マッピーずらし、落とし穴の時限開け、ご先祖様を落とし穴へ落とす事による足止め時間稼ぎのような裏技テクニックは全く登場しません。あくまで正統派テクニックにこだわったような感じです。
模範的なプレイのテクニックは見事で、教科書的な素晴らしいものでした。
