Cue the "why isnt this free?!" If you stop and think for a minute, investing $5k in a real business - not bluesky get-rich-quick vaporware - is solid. If I was building or running a field service business, and needed a digital solution to help make it go, I'd consider mapping my existing or intended workflow to see if this might fill the need. As a product designer, I've designed a couple field service suites and making something that helps you manage the details of each thing (jobs, categories, schedules, notificatioms, confirmations, email, chat, staff, contractors, partners, gear, supplies, customers, payments, and customer service) is a *ton* of work to get even half right. I'm not mad that the developer put a real price tag on it.
I don’t disagree, it’s just that this template, like any other template, will only get you so far towards your intended destination. Once you remove what is not useful, or doesn’t address your specific use case, you’re still going to need to invest a huge amount of time and effort in making it what you want it to be - that’s often made far more difficult by the fact that you have to learn how they’ve built it in the first place! Either way, good luck to the creator in selling it, I wish them well. It’s clear there’s been a lot of work go in to this.
It must be a mistake, FF makes a lot of those. I would think they wrote it wrong and it "only" costs 43.75. But even at that price, I won't buy a template from FF, I pay an expensive subscription every month.
Actually, $4375 for this is a steal...It seems a lot but as a dev, a system big like this would cost atleast 60-80k so for someone building something similar it's a no brainer (if you can / want to change it for your use case).
Nah. Making an app like this would cost around the same. its the maintenance cost that makes it 60-80K+. I can develop and uber like app in under 10K budget but the same app will be around 100K+ because of maintenance and support of developers that made it that way over the years.

@@MrFACTS-mk1ib Yeah they mean that this exact app has 50k downloads on the App Store in production and they just duplicated that product (probably changed the design a bit) and released it on the marketplace.
So many pages, functions, This is an app, not a template... price is probably right for a full fledged app, not as a template. Probably smarter for them to break this to smaller , much smaller pieces that we can integrate into our own apps.
What do you mean by free? we are already paying fo the subscription so we are already paying for the template. These guys are getting greedy and I foresee Flutterflow losing its users really fast really soon. I will stop using their service as soon as I can pay 1 single developer, to be honest.

My jaw literally dropped at that price. I could hire a full team to develop the app exactly as I need and then some at the cost. I'd likely buy it at 5-10% of the price.

Also it’s a template app sold on a marketplace, it’s designed to be sold cheaper than it costs to make to sell quantity. That’s how money is made in that business. Also, those that are being sold at 200-300, not many are actually being bought.
This template has 0 downloads. This is a blatant lie to say its over 50K downloads when clearly there is 0, There is nothing credible about the said team and its look like they just popped out of nowhere like yesterday.. This is a bad call honestly

I have been trying flutterflow to fetch data from rest api for a week and it always fails.
finally I left it and moved to draftbit.
It is perverse and a mockery of us who are customers and pay an expensive subscription every month.
