This fight has a lot in common with the historical conflict between the Spanish (19) and the Aztec (Goku) in 1521. Under normal circumstances, the Aztec (Goku) should have totally overwhelmed the the small Spanish expedition (19), but the disease factor with smallpox (heart virus) changed everything.
I really hope u cover Goku vs Jackie Chun soon, that would go well before Goku vs Celll, pretty much putting up his first serious tournament finals against his last tournament fight. That would go super hard

But I like the closer fights more, especially the inconclusive ones. Super Buu vs Gotenks is the Buu fight I'd most like to see for that reason. Though his fights against Majin Vegeta and SSJ3 Goku (Kid Buu or Fat Buu) aren't far off second, third and fourth picks.

It's legitimately the same feeling you get realizing that you don't hate a certain type of food; it's just that nobody ever made it the way that you like before. This past week, I've watched every video you've uploaded, I think. I'm excited for your next upload, too :)
I'm sure the heart virus was a much bigger factor here than Goku knowing about the energy absorption. Goku may have worked over 19 some more if he never made the mistake of that first Kamehameha, but just look at the way 19 was handling the fight up to that point. Even though he was getting shut out, only a few of the big hits that Goku landed really made 19 show pain, and when he stood up at the end of round 1, 19 was just stoic, not scared like he was against Vegeta. Goku threw that big Kamehameha for a reason, he wanted to either end it or take a big lead at the end of round 1. If Goku knows beforehand and he doesn't throw that Kamehameha, then the best case scenario is a repeat of round 1 where hopefully 19 starts taking more appreciable damage, and hopefully Goku doesn't succumb to the virus any harder than he already is. But I don't think that's likely. 19 still looks composed and Goku is hurting, I'd bet that Goku starts to slow down a little, and there's even a chance that 19 can steal small amounts of energy from grabs that Goku doesn't swat away fast enough. I'd say it was just a matter of time before 19 took it. I think if Goku didn't have the heart virus he could have taken this, but with the virus he was done.

The Android/Cell arc was pretty good up until the moment Cell himself shows up, then the entire arc becomes a mess of nonsense and time paradoxes that make no sense. The time travel plot made perfect sense up until the moment Cell himself shows up.
I think showing more Vegeta fights and other characters best moments before the big goku and Gohan fight is really gonna make that final vid even bigger, I think if you made a video with 2 smaller fights that relate to each other would be really cool, think of it like a fight card. A couple smaller fights and then the main event.

Yup. because of the hyperbolic time chamber section of the saga, and Cell vs Goku, which generated the best Goku moments from Z, you end up lowkey not even realize how much Goku took a backseat this arc, this really really was supposed to be the "Goku Retires arc" when you look back at it, before Toriyama realized Gohan wasn't proactive enough for the role. He really spent most of this arc, from start to finish, trying to set the new generation in the right path, I wonder if his talk with Trunks made him realize he wouldn't be earth's guardian forever, since he originally never trained Gohan, Chichi said he wasnt allowed and he kinda went with it, the 3 year training camp was actually the first time Goku trained Gohan personally, both in the turtle school ways, and a little bit of his own way, and we can see Goku was putting and his bets on Gohan through the entire saga. Too bad Gohan always though of fighting more as a chore than as fun. But in the end of the day, that's his choice, not his father's. And Goku understood that.

Will admit that I didn't think this fight would get a look! This is a fight I tend to forget about since Goku's health was failing. Like you said, he probably would have lost even without rushing into using that ki attack. He couldn't keep that going. But hey, all the fights are fun when broken down like this. And nothing will compare to the pure satisfaction of seeing Vegeta absolutely crush 19 in the next one. (Although I can't help but think about how Vegeta's next fight breakdown after that might be his fight against 18)
One of those moments in DB that remind you that power ain't absolute. I feel like the fandom put so many numbers we sometimes forget that these are accomplished by training the body and the mind, and if you get old or sick, you can 100% even if you're a god or planet-destroyer. Regardless of your power level, saiyans just like humans, and any species in the series, are still people. Being strong doesnt make you unkillable and untouchable.

I don't think Goku was nervous leading up to the fight, I think that was the early onset of the virus starting to eat at him. I think he was confident and angry. Kai Goku: "I'm the one these bastards want, so I'm the one they're gonna get." One of my favorite moments because it's uncharacteristically aggressive. I think he's not in a great mood from how he feels, what the androids are doing and it feels like early super saiyan actually had a bit of adherence to being angry to transform for him.

I don't think Goku was nervous leading up to the fight, I think that was the early onset of the virus starting to eat at him. I think he was confident and angry. Kai Goku: "I'm the one these bastards want, so I'm the one they're gonna get." One of my favorite moments because it's uncharacteristically aggressive. I think he's not in a great mood from how he feels, what the androids are doing and it feels like early super saiyan actually had a bit of adherence to being angry to transform for him.
