I have liked Doug"s teachings , but was wondering why he teaches the 7th day Shabbat but not the feast and now I know. I pray for him and our other brothers and sisters who do not see with their own eyes the prophetic picture of the cycle of the feast in creation through the Millennium. These are Gods feast days just like the Shabbat and he calls them high Shabbats. It is a time that we can become much closer to our heavenly Father YHVH and His Son Yeshua Jesus Christ. We see we will be keeping them in the millennium when Yeshua returns as outlined in Isaiah chapters 2 vs 3 the law or Torah will be taught and in 66 vs 23 we will keep all of the Shabbats including the feast. Ezekiel 45 vs 17 we will be keeping the Passover feast including the feast of unleavened bread and the feast of Tabernacles! Zephaniah 3 vs 16 to 20. Zechariah 14: 16 to 21 keeping the feast. It is spoken as some of the last words of these prophets. It is part of Gods covenant promises to his people and they were set apart to his set apart people. Why would anyone reject his gift to us? I pray that anyone who searches out the truth will see that Gods word is the truth as the bible says so in Psalms 119: 142 that states Thy righteousness is everlasting and the Law/ Torah is the Truth! Law is the Torah ( All of it) strongs H8451. Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints they are those who Keep the comandments of God and the faith of Yeshua Jesus Christ! May the spirit of God direct your paths.

There in scripture that a man should dress as a man and likewise for women but no commandments as for what you said they were chosing to cloth themselves with.
Modesty is needed to not attract unwanted attention, especially for a married person.

The Almighty says speak to the children of Israel.
New testament says those who have faith in the work on the cross and obey Almighty God are grafted in branches of Israel and are also adopted in the family of Israel.
The feasts are for Israel to observe.
So therefore, to the question: should Christians observe the feasts? Should not the answer be a very loud YES?
    Another way.
If we are to live as Christ Jesus as best as we can, and Our Lord and Saviour observed the feasts, shouldn't Christians of today?
Not by physically sacrificing but by knowing and doing as much as we.can to observe them.

The Holy Days are shadows of things to come... to come. That means the shadows precede actual events that are yet going to occur. Each day draws us closer to these coming events. How can you abolish a shadow of something coming closer and closer??? You can not.

+sistalinda Those feasts are a shadow of the greater reality.Christ is the very reason for the existence of those feasts, he being the Substance of those feasts. Those feasts are meant for the individual to see Christ in them and point to him! Question; Do you want to obey the shadow, or the Substance? When you meet a loved one that you haven't seen for years, do you embrace the Substance, the actual person, or do you fall on the ground and try to embrace the shadow of that person, when the substance is standing right there?

Because The Bible makes it very clear that God doesn't want us to do as the heathen do. And, it (Easter and Chrstmas), are insulting imo, in some ways.

It is very important to understand this, the feast days. It helps make things come together, like a solved puzzle or woven blanket. But, would it be so hard for Adventists to start keeping the feast days? Some individuals are interested in doing it!

Why did Jesus choose that particular evening of the commemoration of Passover? It was to make the new covenant and to command the apostles and the disciples to remember His sacrifice with the communion service of eating unleavened bread that would both remember the evening when the t3 tribes of Israel left Egypt and also when Jesus changed the old way of commemorating the escape of Israel from Egypt and from the Egyptian ruler as well as the escape from sin. He only changed the way of the commemoration, but not the Feast!

  • @chariotyisrael1456

Pastor Batchelor you must be consistent in your theology. You often say "does it say the Jewish sabbath or the Lord's sabbath" to make your point about Saturday observance, but then you hand-wave away the "feasts of the Jews" which in fact Leviticus 23 calls them all "the appointed times of the Lord." NOWHERE does it call them "the feasts of the Jews."
Leviticus 23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are MY feasts.
Do you notice where Elohim calls them the Feasts of the Jews? Neither do I.
Your reference to Colossians 2 is entirely incorrect and you leave the most important part out of the discussion.
16 Let no one therefore judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths -
17 which are a shadow of what is to come - but the Body of the Messiah.
Do you understand the significance? No man is to judge you in keeping the food laws or regarding observance of New Moons, Sabbaths, and Feasts EXCEPT THE BODY OF MESSIAH, who would be RIGHT THERE WITH YOU celebrating the APPOINTED TIMES OF THE LORD and YHWH's Commands. God sanctified much more than the weekly Sabbath, all of his appointed times are to be sanctified until the heaven and earth shall pass away. Since neither of these things has happened, the APPOINTED TIMES OF THE LORD are not passed away. Just like Sha'ul kept the Shabbat constantly in the Book of Acts HE ALSO KEPT ALL THE FEASTS. Acts is riddled with Him saying "I can't go here because I have to keep this feast" or "I intend to go to Jerusalem to keep this feast." He went to an AWFUL LOT OF TROUBLE to keep "the feasts of the Jews" which you claim are done away with. Can you see how inconsistent this is? It is no better than the Protestants who claim they love Him and yet refuse to keep His commandments. I love your sermons but I would humbly suggest you study this topic more because the same defense you give for keeping the weekly Sabbath (that it is never called the Jewish Sabbath but YHWH's Sabbath) apply to the Feasts because they are quite plainly called "The Appointed Times of YHWH" or "YHWH's Feasts" and never "The Feasts of the Jews."
You're also off when you state that Sha'ul was talking about the Appointed Times when he spoke in Romans the following:
5 One indeed judges one day above another, another judges every day alike. Let each one be completely persuaded in his own mind.
6 He who minds the day, minds it to יהוה. And he who does not mind the day, to יהוה he does not mind it. He who eats, eats to יהוה, for he gives Elohim thanks. And he who does not eat, to יהוה he does not eat, and gives Elohim thanks.
The context is clear that he is speaking about FASTING. The early Church was divided on which days to keep as days of Fasting and Sha'ul is clarifying here that it does not matter, but if by eating on a day that another claims as a fast day would cause your brother to stumble you should not do it. He is NOT saying the Feasts are done away with. The entirety of Romans 14 is about FASTING and how to approach it. Claiming otherwise is very silly theology and not at all in context.

To all who would here it, when scripture is read one must believe all of it, so if all of it wont work together its wrong. We cannot remove or add one jot or tittle from the word of God or it becomes a curse, pastor Doug its clear we all love you and the work you do please review this work as the word of God is not a lair and the word says these feasts are to last forever. There is no more Jew or Gentile in Christ we are all branches on the same vine, one tree of the root of David. So if we are one then we will be celebrating the feasts in heaven and the fact that we will be the bride also says we are one as a bride is one with her husband. No, we should learn these feasts and and celebrate them only with the knowledge that the sacrifice was already made once for all ! these festivals will be a joy to the lord just remember it is better to obey then sacrifice Amen.

What condemns the 1844 doctrine is found in Hebrews 9:12 "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us" Christ took on the role of a high priest, hence He went into the Most Holy place, the only place to obtain eternal redemption for us, He entered once. Hebrews 9:6-7 shows that only the high priest went into the most holy, once per year as Christ entered in once.

last thing if these feast days are gone and done away with fine
why are we not still taught about them and how to keep them and the meaning of it
and how it points to salvation. Day of Atonement nobody has a clue what it was about.
Is it because the Jews are the ones that keep it for many years.
Or maybe it also is because of the Catholic Church getting rid of it as ordered in Council of Nicea.
very very confused it really looks like we are picking and choosing like the Sunday Christians
    God Bless all and

The Feasts and Gods law was dumped by Rome. After two Jewish revolts the Romans would not allow anything remotely Jewish, and this also applied to the later Christian Church which was gutted of its Jewish identify. Please read the canon of the RCC of Laodicea in 363 AD, and you will understand how the Church got so derailed--Rome is still the Beast!!!

understanding the sanctuary system is crucial in understanding the plan of salvation. I dare to say if the Jews of the time were looking through the lens of the sanctuary would have recognized Christ when John the baptist introduced Jesus to them in John 1:29 "......Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

  • @weezie9843

Pastor Doug seems confused about God's Holy Feasts calling them Jewish Feasts. Most people believe that everything was nailed at the cross but that's not what the Bible says. The ceremonial law was nailed at the cross because of Jesus' sacrifice. Everything else that has God's stamp on it such as: forever, eternal, perpetual, etc means what it means.
Pastor Doug also seemed confused about the lunar vs the solar calendar months and days. I'm sure many people can relate to that. First of all, the biblical calendar was lunar and was later changed to solar. We're told in the Bible not to add or remove anything, not one iota. SDA's uses that argument to support the change of the Sabbath day from the 7th day to the 1st day. Their opponent even admit that they have changed the day. They even have the arrogance to say that they have the authority to do so. The Word of God is very clear on that and warns us against adding or removing.
That said, the biblical Sabbath did start on the seventh day but was from new moon to new moon. There are different accounts in the OT that proves this fact. There's some Jews today that observe Sabbath starting from the sliver of the moon. I've researched and there's people that oberve Sabbath the same date every month. More research and more praying!

The feasts that the Jews were to keep were a shadow of things to come. They pointed forward to a antitypical fulfillment. since 1844 we have been living in the antitypical fulfillment of the day of atonement. The feast of tabernacles will be celebrated after His second coming for 1000 years. All the other feasts were fulfilled by Jesus.
Same as the Jewish sacrificial system. It came to an end when Jesus died on the cross. He was the true sacrifice that the sacrificial system pointed towards. There is no more need to sacrifice animals because they true sacrifice has happened.
Shadows point forward to the shadow giver. And when you reach the shadow giver, there is not another shadow on the other side.

    • @sistalinda
      @sistalinda 6 лет назад +4

The scripture says they are shadows of things to come... to come. You pointed out the future fulfillment of Sukkot. The same is true for the future fulfillment of Yom Teruah which foreshadows the rapture's last trump. The same is true for the marriage supper of the lamb which is said to be a Passover Seder in the new Heavens and Earth. The same is true for Yom Kippur which and the Last Great Day. These are the annual feasts and they all have future manifestations. This isn't over, Jon Richard. There are things that are yet to come in the fulfillment of Yahweh's plan of salvation Hence the shadows are still preceding future events. Your logic is reasonable, but you have to plug in the correct facts.
But more importantly, Yahweh has spoken these things. His word will not be undone by anyone, not by the Messiah, and definitely not by Paul. And HE said they are to be kept forever throughout your generations. Want more proof? The word forever in Leviticus 23 is OLAM meaning from Antiquity to Perpetuity. It is word number 5769 in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and in Brown Driver and Briggs Hebrew Lexicon.
Colossians says don't let anyone judge you. There is no judgement against obedience. There is judgement against disobedience. Colossians further says that the body is the Messiah's. Keep Yahweh's Holy Days, but the sacrificed body is that of the Messiah Yahshua.
He is in the midst of 2 or 3 believers as an acceptable sacrifice.
He is our Levitical High Priest (from Marion's lineage), and He is our perfect lamb, Yahweh's Passover. Therefore it is possible to still obey Leviticus. And Corinthians says, Let us therefore KEEP THE FEAST speaking of The Feast of Unleavened Bread... a clear command in the Renewed Covenant to keep a specific Holy Day.

I respectfully must disagree with you. Paul himself said in 1Corinthians 9:20-22: “To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.”
Paul often did things to appease his Jewish brothers and sisters who had not quite found their freedom in Christ. He didn’t want to be a stumbling block to anyone.

it's not Jewish feasts, it's GOD's Feasts, but GOD's people's dressing rehearsal. The bible verse in Leviticus 23 clearly mentions. Those feasts belongs to the LORD, but Israelite's holy convocation. In original hebrew, the feasts is "Moaedim" which means GOD's appointed time, the holy convocation is "Mekrah" which means the dressing rehearsal.

Who are we to pick an choose what to do and not to do? God tells to keep these feasts FOREVER! Please show me in the Bible where it says he has done away with the laws you only said they are done away with tell me where it says this? You didn't say? Ceremonial and moral laws those words are not found in the Bible anywhere! I have always loved what you have preached Pastor Doug but why would God not want us to celebrate him? Have we become so lazy in worshipping our God! And it's not Jewish feasts it's Gods feasts! Look up feasts in strongs concordance the Hebrew meaning or word is Moed meaning appointment. The law which they are talking about having a hard time to keep are the talmud, I'm probably spelling that wrong but the Talmud is made up from man not God! Since we are grafted in shouldn't we also be celebrating! God has a calendar we are to obey! And convocation in strongs #4744 miqra is public meeting or rehearsal it's a rehearsal for what we are going to do in heaven why not rehearse? And the law that Paul was referring to was the Talmud in that last verse you were speaking about! I have been an Adventist all my life and have recently been studying Torah and I believe there is so much more I can be doing I don't think my salvation rests on it but why not celebrate these feasts these are Gods feasts and he loves us I think these feasts are a way of showing God that we love him and we remember all the good things that he has done for his people!

We all want to do God's will for us. We all want to make God happy with us. We all try our best to study the scriptures in order to carry that out. And we all disagree allot. Most of the things we question are not about salvation. Jesus made that very clear to us Halleluiah. Romans14 does say it's up to a person to decide if one day is more important than another. The feasts the Sabbaths are all about the spirit Jesus brought to us, in Him all things are fulfilled. Choose well God bless.

The abominations you support in ChristMASS and Ishtar (Easter) are Babylon which you need to come out of. GOD's Feasts is part of the GOD's law, it's a shadow for things to come. Brothers and Sisters, if you don't obey GOD's law and exercise on obeying it, it is hard to understand the shadow of things to come. In the end time, many will be deceived by all kinds of teachings.. However, there's only one thing that won't change, i.e., the word of the GOD. Stick on it, GOD's law will be written unto your heart, that's the shield/mark from GOD. Always remember that, our LORD Jesus said:" he came was not to change the law, but to fulfill it." "not a jot or yod of the LAW will be changed", "the Heaven and the earth can pass away, my words never pass away!"
    so does the GOD's feasts.

Pastor Doug Batchelor, The Bible in Leviticus. 23:14 says; ……. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Meaning these feast of God are forever.
When YAHWEH brought our forefathers, the Hebrews from Egypt in to the wilderness in Mount Sinai, according to Nehemiah 9:13- 14. Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and speakest with them from heaven , and gavest them right judgment and true laws, good statutes and commandments; and madest known unto them thy holy Sabbath, and commandedst them precept, statutes and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant.
So God revealed himself to the world through Israel whom He gave his laws, precepts, statutes and commandments, and these are universal and for eternity likewise the weekly Sabbaths.
Isaiah 66; 22-24. For as the new heaven and the new earth which I will make will remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and name remain. 23. And it shall come to pass, that from one new month to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
Moreover, throughout the life of Jesus Christ, He kept all these fests as well as his disciples.
    Zach. 14; 16-19, john 7;1-38, Luke 22; 1-20. 1Cor. 11; 26-34, Matthew 5; 17-21. Rev. 22; 14.
Moreover the only thing that God wasn’t please within the law is the animal sacrifice which Christ replaces with his body. Psalm 40; 6-8, Hebrews 10; 1-12. Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened; burnt offering and sin offerings hast thou not required…….
    Hebrews 10; 8-10. Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sins thou wouidest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Then said he, Lo I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first that he, that he might establishthe second.
By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
And so Christ do away with just the animal sacrifice and nothing else.
Matthew 5;17. Think not that I have come to do away with the law or the prophets; I am not come to destroy but to fulfill.

Yes, we should obey the scripture in Leviticus 23. They are Jewish Feasts. And they are the Feasts of Yahweh. we're supposed to be grafted into Yisrael. We are to eat the Passover and be as one native born Exodus 12:48-49 & Exodus 19:34. 1st Corinthians 5:8 tells us how to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Pentacost is an adapted Feast of Yahweh's, the truer name being Shavuot. There is no correctly understood passage which gives us permission to disobey.

Nirky Shadows indicate the existence of a reality, of a thing that has substance. They indicate the coming of something, not the ending of something. Look again Colossians 2:17. Shadows of things to come... we have a sacrifice too, not an animals body, but Messiah's body. Meditate on these things, Nirky.

"For the law having a *SHADOW* of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those *SACRIFICES* which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
      Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.: Hebrews 10:1-10

Ezekiel ch 37 onward parallels the later part of Revelations with a Ressurection of the Dead, and the battle of Gog and Magog, and the Lords, Laws, Statutes, Ordinances, Feasts, and Sabbaths are all there in Messiah's Kingdom. There is even what must be a Memorial Sacrifice offered by the Prince representing what He did at Calvery. Zechariah also specifically mentions the Feast of Booths in relation to the Gentiles in the Kingdom to come. We must not press the word of God into the mire while elevating doctrines that do not conform to that Word!!!

3 ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

      (27) Jesus said: If you fast not from the world, you will not find the kingdom; if you keep not the Sabbath as Sabbath, you will not see the Father.
don't be deceived by the catholic doctrine
Constantine with the catholic church in the court of Nicea
ruled on the sabbath and made it illegal to keep it was changed to Sunday because at that time constatine was pagan. Do to tradition the Catholics say they will not change it back. Also, the pope is equal to Jesus christ so what the rules is the same as Jesus.
There are many books that were taken out of the bible. This one is the Gospel of Thomas. Thomes gospel is about every word out of Jesus' mouth was written and there are more.
Study for yourself there is no new covenant like you are taught
Here is an example every month there is a new moon. Did we through
away the old moon. Our God is a nonchanging God. Every word in the bible from the beginning to the end is forever and ever.
Please take no man's word or doctrines.

Paul said also that if some one comes with another doctrine other than Jesus Christ and him crucified let it be be accursed. Even if angel comes and tells something different. You may not believe in the New covenant , but that is what I stand on. While Jesus was under the old covenant he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God. It was to bring them back to God. He sent the disciples in twos. Some of them even after the Christ went up were still preaching the law. They talked to one and he had only been baptised under John's baptism . They explained to him the new covenant and he recieved Christ.
That is probably what they were talking about. I am not catholic. God has opened to things I have never know before. That is how we rest in him. I was raised pentecost. Their rule of dress and things are a bit tight like the pharisees. They mean well, but they are too tight on themselves.

+ Shelly Blanchard there is a new covenant, yet God does not change. He is the same yesterday ,today, and tomarrow Christ did not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it, so as an example he showed us how we should live our lives. The law is still intact but that law should be written on our hearts that we should love the laws of God but we who are his are not under condemnation from the law- Romans 8 King James Version
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Religion is a box the scriptures will never fit in. I grew up sda. But it seems that sdas fell for the same trap as many other denominations. They stumbled upon a certain truth or revelation which was beatiful. But then they get stuck in that moment and do not continue to advamce. They circle around the same scriptures and practices over and over without any new revelations. To answer this video YahWeh said these are his feasts and are to be kept as a perpetual covenant. He never mentioned Christmas or easter. If you put away denominational religion and come into the family of israel you wont even have to worry about what you keep or not because the DESIRE to keep them will take over you and you will Love the meaning more than the practice. Search for meaning in both the weekly and the high sabbaths and you will never have to worry about how to practice. It will come.

The way he say it sounds like the feast of the passover, but he is talking about the feast that Jesus did of the wine and the bread. not the actual feast. You see Paul talked about the feast where they were keeping their version of feast and they were having a banquet. Paul told them that that wasn't the way to have the feast Jesus did. For everyone brings their lunch and shame them that doesn't have anything to eat. Then he explained to them feast of Jesus of the bread and wine. Told them not keep it in that manner of manner of bringing their own lunch to eat at home so the ones that did not have anything to bring wouldn't do without.
Then he said not to do it with malice.

Really love the Seventh Day Adventists beliefs on God's weekly Saturday Sabbath, nutrition, modesty, temperance etc as taught by Ellen White. However their belief of NOT celebrating God's feasts is not one I agree with. When God says his Holy Feasts should be observed for every generation, I think we should all listen. I really think Seventh Day Adventists should reconsider observing God's feasts, as God is opening the eyes of so many believers to the truth of his Holy Feasts and his Holy weekly Saturday Sabbath and these followers of Christ now observing the Holy Weekly Saturday Sabbath and God's Holy Feasts are now looking for fellowship. One group that observes the Holy Saturday Sabbath and God's Holy Feasts is the Christian Biblical Church of God (CBCG) that is led by Fred Coulter, however they do not observe the nutritional instructions of God, but they are the closest to following God's instructions .

I’m an Adventist and the feast day subject I feel the church as a whole is lazy to keep so they do away with them BUT most of our hearts believe we should be keeping them and it’s no burden to us 🤷🏽‍♀️ so this is when we ought to obey God rather than man (sda faith) my heart says we should be keeping them and if it’s not a sin to keep them now as they were kept for ions before then keep them - it’s not a sin to keep them so err on the side of caution I say - if you feel in your heart to keep I beg please the Lord - also I feel Nehemiah 8:10 and how to properly feast would go against anything Ellen white has had to say so they make the feast days null and void - while health message is necessary for overall health - its not a commandment - if God allows meat one day he is not a liar to take it out our diets the next day - he specified unclean meats and took time to detail so it must be of great benefit to us to observe that also especially during feast days .. Ellen white is NOT above bible so remember that - if it was good for all in biblical times it’s good for me now

Communion is a bastardization of a Model Seder: The Model Seder or Practice Passover is a tradition that emereged to teach people the way to enter into Covenant with Yahweh through the Annual Passover which is commanded throughout all generations.
Passover is kept in the home, not in the congregation. So new converts need to be shown how and what the symbols mean and new lessons need to be explained to those learning and accepting the terms of the Covenant (the contract, agreement).
When Yahshua the Messiah had a Model Seder on the night he was betrayed, he explained to his disciples that the 3rd of four cups of wine represented his blood, and that the broken matzah represented his body.
This teaching answered the seemingly cannibalistic statement recorded in John 6:56. So now that they understood they could on the following evening have a seder with that fuller understanding.
The next afternoon during the actual Passover, as Yahshua, was executed, Israel slaughtered lambs in preparation for the actual Seder and the High Holy Day, the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Centuries later, The so-called Holy Roman Empire, who had long outlawed Judaism, misunderstood and mistook the Messiah's model seder to be the institution of a new ritual calling it The Last Supper, and crafting the doctrine called Holy Communion. To this day that mistake is modified and taught by Christianity in a total departure and in utter ignorance of the actual significance and intention. Keep the Passover. Do not be deceived.

Da SumOne All of this is revealed in the Scripture . Yahweh's word is the source, especially in those portions that are considered "done away with."
Also in those portions that seem to contradict, by digging into the cultural and historical context as well as the translation problems, Yahweh' rewarded our efforts showing us what a blessing it is to submit to his perfect will.
Yahweh does not change. He is his word. Heaven and Earth will pass away,. But his word will never pass. Matt 24:35.
Our ministry is Cleansing the Sanctuary of our minds and bodies removing all the counterfeit doctrine and toxins transmitted into our daily lives through false faiths false teachers, and decievers.
Many don't ask. You ask. That's a good thing.

Yes Brothers and Sisters, this subject is verrrry important and each person needs to study the Spring and Fall Holy Convocations and allow Yahweh to speak to them regarding this. I was not searching for this, but when I began to study on an agricultural seminar from the SDA's I found reference to the Feasts and began a Bible study regarding them. I then started to question why, when we keep Sabbath, would we not keep these Holy Convocations? Even Sister White was led to them and you can search for her words regarding the Feasts if you are a true seeker of truth. Well, long story short, over time and through conviction of the Holy Spirit, I began to keep them, and they are AMAZING days of understanding of the plan of Yahweh for our salvation. Bless you who are seekers, for if you truly seek you will surely find. Happy Sabbath all.

Shelly, you need to read the Bible in context, which you are not doing. Hosea was an 8th century prophet, so prior to the exile, and what he is speaking of in that verse is that these days will be stopped because Israel will be exiled from the land for their sin and idolatry and turning from YHWH to worship the Ba'alim. It has nothing to do with modern Christians, at all. These days were all restored once they were restored to the land, and it is most likely that Yehezq'el and Dani'el and others who were righteous in the exile still celebrated them even in Babel.

Chapter 3 he was talking about Jacob where they still under the covenant of the Sabbath and he talking about the reason why he hadn't because he destroyed Jacob because of his covenant with them. He changes not. When Jesus came that was the end of the law. Jesus even said that the law and prophets were until John. John even said Jesus was greater than him. Jeremiah 31 talks of the New covenant.

Shelly Blanchard Incorrect. Shaul describes the proper attitude we should strive towards while observing Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread saying, "Messiah, our Passover was sacrificed for us, therefore let us Keep the Feast, not with old leaven nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread sincerity and truth." 1 Cor 5:8.
Honest translations of Hebrews 4:9 says, "There remains a Sabbath Rest for the people of Yahweh.". It only takes a little research for this truth to be revealed.

    • @shellyblanchard5788
      @shellyblanchard5788 7 лет назад

The Sabbath rest is Jesus, he said for us to come to him for rest. The day of rest was under the old covenant. Thing about just like every day is holy not just the day, we rest in him everyday not one day a week. The purpose of the Sabbath was to honor his day of rest in the old covenant. Now since the priesthood is change we are in his rest every day. He has delivered us from the old covenant through his son. That is why we are not under the Sabbath rule anymore. God made out will in Jeremiah 31,so that when he died and rose he could bring it to life. So he has made the old covenant obsolete through his blood n the cross. Act 15 explains how we are not under the bondage to the law.

No Christians should not keep the feast days. Why?
because the feast days are part of the sacrificial lamb offering.
unto which Christ Jesus fulfilled at His cross.
The Lord's supper took the place of the feast days.
So we no longer keep the feast days.
because now on this side of the cross, we keep the Lord's supper.

Use the scriptures only and you have a student in me; otherwise, I cannnot listen to another reference to a person's writings that claim to be from God but we have no proof. I don't think we will be in Isaiah 66. It talks about the Levites which we are not under. He still wants to keep the Sabbath but Jesus said to come to him for rest. Matthew 11:28-30. Our rest is in Christ not the Sabbath day. It has been fulfilled in Christ. so are to keep the Sabbath or go to Jesus for our rest? You cannot just keep the Sabbath covenant and the new covenant to. That is bondage. Jesus freed us from that. The Sabbath day is not in the new covenant for Christ is our rest in the new covenant.

Jesus came and died to bring us back to the One True God, not to enable us to keep sinning. Sin is transgression of God's Laws. Jesus came to fulfill, not to do away with. God's Laws are good, just and right.

In Hebrews it states There remains a sabbath rest for the people of God. In John it states In the beginning was the word, then it states the word became flesh. Jesus also states if you want to see life then keep the commandments. Jesus himself said he was Lord of the Sabbath, he did not say he was the Sabbath. Jesus is was and always will be Torah. Jesus says, come to me and you will find rest, who was Jesus? The word of God which is Torah.

    • @shellyblanchard5788
      @shellyblanchard5788 7 лет назад

Jesus delivered us from the curse of the law. We have his righteousness and not righteousness of the law. It could not save. It didn't forgive. Jesus is the one who forgives. You under the law there a permnat sin stain on our hearts. Not amount atonement removed it. Only Jesus washes white as snow. He gives us a new heart so we don't want to the wrong thing. We have the fruits of the spirit not of the law. The law said to sacrifice for atonement sin. Now we ask God forgiveness, not go offer a sin offering to the temple.

    • @elizabethmonroe5791
      @elizabethmonroe5791 7 лет назад

Shelly Blanchard Yes, thru the Spirit he gives us a new heart that does not want to brake God's laws, and yes He is the atonement for the repentant person. But someone who accepts his atonement but does not repent is not saved. Jesus is the word made flesh, Jesus is the law because he is the word and instructions from God. Jesus did not come to do away with himself. He came to bear witness to the truth, he came to seek and save that which was lost and he came to lay his life as a random, he came to do the will of the Father, he came to be a faithful high priest, he came to destroy the works of the devil, and he came to show us how to fulfill the law by doing it himself, this is how he fulfilled it. He justified us in the eyes of the Father because of his shed blood, but it is the word of God, walking in it that sanctifies us. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Sanctification is a process that takes time, and not one we can do without the set apart Spirit, or without knowing who God is and what His will is. New Covenant does not mean new laws, if you read in Jeremiah you will see God says He will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, I will put My law within them and I will write it on their hearts. He doesn't say He's gonna write a new law He says He'll make a new covenant and take His laws and write it on their hearts. The mind governed by flesh is emnity against God. For it is not subject to the law of God, neither can be. There is nothing wrong with any of God's laws, the problem lies within man. Gods laws are good, just and rightous. Look at Isaiah 42. The servant that God sends will magnify His law and make it Honorable. He also says that He gave Jacob for spoil and Israel to robbers. Why? Because they were not obediant unto His law.
