Ceedee Lamb, Hollywood Brown, Mark Andrews and Trey Sermon. Damn! Baker had a crew!!!!!!
You know it!!
I'm pretty sure nearly the entire O-line is also active on NFL teams!! That offense was 🔥🔥
All active NFL players 🔥🔥
If they would’ve had a damn defense
i went to the mahomes-mayfield shootout at Tech, so many offensive palyer in the nfl form thos two teams (mainly Oklahoma)
It’s not just Baker, CeeDee, Hollywood, and Mark Andrew’s. THAT ENTIRE offensive line started on an NFL Roster at some point.
coulda been one of the best teams ever had they fielded a half decent defense!
You are so correct smh
They all were drafted 1st round as well
Joe Tessatore is an underrated announcer. Too bad he's not doing Monday Night football anymore.
I hated him as the announcer on MNF
@@Sonmex13 ever since the ESPN firing hiatus the Monday Night announcers have SUCKED!
BREAKING NEWS: NFL throwback has an expansion channel called college football throwback.
it would be fire
yessir God bless
Cringe af
My guy 🤝
I love the college throwback
just need Auburn to whoop Georgia today! Eagle 🦅
Okoronkwo (Rams) on OU's defense had a monster day and was exhausted by the end of the gam. 1000% effort!
The refs' refusal to call holding on Texas all day made that game infuriating.
Facts they were holding the whole game
They weren’t calling flags all day. Like on that play with the late hit on Mayfield, the Texas Defensive Edge jumped as well. They didn’t call that late hit nor that jump
I seen em too watching this video
@zacharyowens3547 , that's cause facts are that Texas was supposed to rule Big12 when it was formed. Bob Stoops had other plans though....And Sooner Fans, don't let Texas throw that 63-51 record all time at you. 27 of them wins were before World War II
Coming back and rewatching this after a couple of years of Venables Defense and it's such a night a day difference.
People forget, Baker walked onto Texas Tech, became the starter, then left, then walked onto OU and became the starter
Forgot to add he left Texas tech cause he lost the starting job and didn’t want to compete to get it back
@@SDA5up He lost the starting job due to injury. He wasn't allowed to compete for the job after that. He always wanted to play at OU. And to think he beat out Trevor Knight who was flawless in the Sugar Bowl against Alabama.
This Oklahoma team was stacked
and vs the big 12 also!
That was a great game when I watched it live on TV
Cd lamb and Hollywood brown both on this team
I think that we’re going to see a college football throwback channel on RUclips if we keep seeing more highlights like this
Why there isn't one already is a travesty
The new and improved Texas Longhorns??
OU is really QBU
Back when Horns Down was not a penalty 😠
Stupid Big 12 officials kissing Texas’s asses and that’s coming from a Mountaineer fan. 🤘🏻⬇️
You guys are irrelevant and got ran out of the building last yr vs texas
I had forgotten how many holds Texas got away with in this game.
they were holding every play
I was losing my mind in my living room
Love these!!
Remember the Sam Elinger hype that never happened, just couldn’t take that next step he had flashes like that of Colt Macoy but nope just wasn’t there
his coach herman fell off it seems after that game they played vs lsu when burrow was qb...
I remember with how Sam ran people were calling him little Tebow.
Greatest Rival College Football History From The 50s 70s 80s and Early 90s 🏈
Besides the Civil War up here in Oregon the ducks in the Beavers every year whoop there it is
@@mikemalone4013 I Like Alabama Against Georgia Tech Football
2000s is iron bowl
Only Red River game I've been to and man the atmosphere is electric. Nothing like it.
Texas is gonna get they're asses worn out in the SEC.
Like the Texas vs Arkansas game but repetitive lol
I dont see Oklahoma having as much success either.
If you put all the good teams in one conference, who's supposed to compete against the eventual sec playoff teams?
well they will beat each other up so only so many teams can run the table
mark my words texas and oklahoma are gonna easily stack up on the best high school football players within the state
I mean I’m a sooners fan but i got a feeling OU gong to the SEC maybe a bad idea considering the SEC has always been a tough conference while the big 12 is nothing but a cakewalk every year
Great game.
iron bowl betta
I just didn’t realise the scale of college ball. It’s not far off the pros. I’m from England and we don’t h@ve things like that in college,oh wait a min we do have rowing. Haha. Gonna go b@ck and watch lots of college ball today.
Kicking that texASS never gets old!!! Boomer Sooner
Beating a terrible Texas team by 5 points isn't impressive at all...
@@hipsterkiwi4653 lol the guy couldn’t get into Texas and had to get his education from Oklahoma. Let him have this. It’s literally the only thing those trailer park miscreants have lol
@@hipsterkiwi4653 winning at the Cotton Bowl is All That Matters! The loser has a pretty shitty walk of shame! You shorthorns have felt it a lot lately🤣
I was at this game it was epic
Throwback Idea for next Sunday: 2019 National Championship Bama vs Clemson
Or Auburn vs Oregon 2010
Mark Andrews is one of many of my OU heroes
Sam really played a red river rivalry game against Baker Kyler Hurts and Rattler
Omg. He did.🤣 And lost them all, except 2018...But OU beat him in the Big 12 Championship.
@@chuyozuna2398 We lead the all time series against OU.
@@tylermcgrew4035 we lead in national championships 🔥
@@oklahomasoonersbaby4893 and conference championships, and Heismans, and All-Americans, and first-round draft picks, etc.
Sam also made Kyler cry lol
Ehlinger throwing it away on 4th and 13 at the end of the game just makes me 🤦♂️
He had a concussion
That Oklahoma team was loaded. Personally, I think the one guy that kind of gets overlooked on the offense is Dmitri Flowers. He was a blocker, runner, receiver... He was money any time you needed him.
That 1st TD throw was 62 yards in the air! Baker with the cannon
Kyle Porter/Rodney Anderson! KATYNATION BABY!!
Oklahoma had a squad
Best OU Team since 2000
2008 or 2018 with a defense😔👍 the 17 team had backbone that the 2018 team didn't have, and the 2008 team was injury ridden so bad that it doesn't given credit for.
When Oklahoma had CeeDee Lamb, Hollywood Brown, and Mayfield slinging it, I'm surprised the Sooners lost any games.
Cuz of LR.
You put alton in front of Sheduer in a Heavy QB driven PAC12
It's so funny that okla state thinks they're on level with this rivalry. This is like dame/usc auburn/Alabama Michigan/Ohio state
I forgot Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews played together in college.
i didnt know mark andrews went to oklahoma he was big asf back den. he still big now just more toned up
Only if Baker Mayfield was doing this during his short tenure with The Cleveland Browns this game would've meant something but he got TRADED to the Carolina Panthers and Sam Ehlinger is with The Indianapolis Colts
they finally called holding on texas on a 4th down
every year, they always say texas is back and stronger than ever. every year texas messes up and cant win.
It's called the Red River Shootout
If you're doing college games with future nfl stars, how about some of Tom Brady's Michigan comebacks?
Or Charles Woodson Heisman moments during a season when a current MNF announcer was the QB?
Baker better then dude
The Big 12 lol.
I had to watch four ads
a battle of Benedict Arnold Sr. and Benedict Arnold Jr.
Herman let ehlinger play through a concussion this game bad look for T.H
Bakers team was a thousand times better then texas at the time
Shorthorns
Panthers starter
0:48 Ref: Penalty, taunting & unsportsmanlike conduct, visiting team, #17, his team is to be penalized soon as the game starts with free points to Texas. He is ejected and pending suspension from his school.
When Texas is a good team their at least a good team Oklahoma just gets ran off the field when they play someone real.. Oklahoma has the Notre Dame issue..
Against a freshman QB 😂😂
I'm sick of grease he hates ok , so obvious, wish they wouldn't let him call ou games
cam newton>baker not even close!
I'll still take the iron bowl over this barley.. this game and Ohio St vs Michigan are the best IMO
8:26 I don't get why it's a flag for the horse-collar tackle. Texas and their fans are animals on gameday sometimes they need to be controlled as such 🤣🤣🤣
“Baker delivers”… you mean his defense bails him out??
Baker has not delivered much since then.
Right now, any team can get Baker from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a couple of cases of Gatorade.
Both Notre Dame and Oklahoma have been very overrated teams like the last 20 to 30 years.. Notre Dame still hasn't won a national title sense 1988.. And Oklahoma hasn't won one sense 2000.. both teams are pretty embarrassing and annoying when we here then in the elite conversation every year..
Couldn't deliver in the rose bowl later that year though. Faker Mayfield shrinks under the spotlight
his defense did him no favors
If defense was better ou would've won the natty that hear
Couldn't deliver? Two OT's and Georgia won by a touchdown. That's on the defense. Baker delivered.
OU had a horrible defense that year, Baker did everything he can to win that game but his defense didn’t deliver
@@chuyozuna2398 defense hasn't been relevant in 20 years
Oklahoma is the pretender team.. they act like a good team but they play awful teams all season..
Oklahoma so overrated.. boo.. Oklahoma is just not a very good football team.. overrated..
