- Probably a bit ambitious to tackle my entire wardrobe in one video! But here goes, I am finally decluttering my wardrobe and preparing it (a bit late) for fall. Of course this room is still a work in progress, but I figured I wouldn't wait until it was done before getting a handle on it. I'd love to hear what you think about this closet declutter! Also before you jump to bleach, here’s some less damaging things to try:
- Soak the stained portion in white vinegar to help break down the stain before washing
- Leave dish soap on the spot for a while before washing
- Make a paste of baking soda and water or dish soap and scrub it into the stain; leave for a while before washing
- Hang the item in the sun which naturally bleaches fabric

To get stains out use Dawn ultra platinum power wash dish soap. I use a toothbrush to scrub the stain and then put 3% hydrogen peroxide on the soap and scrub until the stain is gone. It will get stains out of clothes that have already been dried as well.
I’ve also seen a friend use a product called Wink naturals. The bar gets really tough stains better than the liquid.
Bleach doesn’t really whiten stains in my experience. You can get some fabrics softer by washing them in baking soda and vinegar.
Using a pill cutter also helps keep fabrics soft.
Great video! This inspired me to clean my closet lol. I love how honest you were with yourself on decluttering things that you don’t wear or don’t fit anymore and either got rid of them or took them out to get tailored.
I also do RUclips videos and my tip for decluttering. Just declutter in sections. It’s not so overwhelming. For example: first declutter dresses, on the second day you declutter jackets, on the third tops and so on.

Oh my god, me too with the hangers! I've got big wooden ones and it definitely means I can get less in but I like that, it keeps me minimal. I know loads of people love those ultra thin velvet flocked ones to squeeze more in but 1) the clothes are bigger than the hanger and 2) the material sets my teeth on edge!
I loved the idea you gave. Of storing things away so you dont look at them. Then when the season comes, its like you have a whole new wardrobe! Very cool 🥳 I think I will do, just that. ✨

I used hydrogen peroxide to remove stains and make them whiter again. Bleach tends to make them yellowish in my experience. I thrift lots of dirty white stain items.

Have you considered a color analysis? You obviously suit waaayyyy better cool tones, yet you wear golden chain and try to work mustard and khaki.(they are beautiful indeed, but not sure they do you the best service). Whereas in cool tones.. 🎉
Try soaking them in OxiClean or using a spot stain remover before bleach, as bleach can make some stains and whites look yellow.

When I saw the white skirt on the back, and how the zipper just came undone 😅 I was like oh no, I could never wear that without the fear of it coming undone
I also struggle with white clothes and stains. It's a new issue for me cause I used to only wear black clothing. Now that I have lots of white clothing, I am a disaster at keeping it white and with no stains :(

Have you ever tried a mineral sunscreen? That sort of formula might stain less.
That white zara bodysuit shouldn't be bleached since bleach doesn't work on unnatural fibers that well and ruins elasticity. So you just need to buy a new ones to have them in good condition😊 Just a tip from me to you. 😘

imo all the coats you tried on physically look too small on you, not looking fitted. Maybe try buying a size bigger in the future and you'll look more comfortable and stylish
