One thing to point out is that this engine is still running in. Once the service light comes one you will notice it has way more pep, especially in sport mode. Ducatis are known to limit torque while in break in period
I have a 2023 SP and you’re correct, the power to weight is amazing, in making the bike nearly telepathic in its handling. And someone else mentioned, that it does not like low speed throttle, you do have to keep it on the burn to make it sing. My other Bike is a 2023 Triumph Rocket 🚀3R, so I have a good contrast of Power and excitement.
Had this bike for a year, it does not do low RPM or city riding well at all. My front brakes also became super twitchy and would make me headbang every time I used them (dealership could not fix the issue).

I particularly like the 1200RS purely because it's really unique, sounds fantastic (being a Triple) and features that differ from the other bikes in its class; it seems like a wonderful all-rounder. Also, it would be a more difficult Motorcycle for thieves to try and steal (I live in South Africa, although may be immigrating to Mexico soon and will eventually take her with me). As an owner and rider of a naked bike, which does have a aftermarket windscreen mounted up. But I bought it like that and you still feel the wind obviously, it just deflects winds different but I feel it on my chest, but also it is something you get used to it real quick. At least I did. 😆But I guess it's not for everyone. The last 2 days I did 720 ish km's riding a mix highway, back roads and through city roads. Really doable but yes after 2-2.5 hours of riding you kinda feel your ass wanting to get off the seat for a bit. 😆 Also that's fixable by doing a comfort seat or like a gel padding on the seat. Also the Monster's footpegs are more far back then they are on my Kawi for sure. I can imagine you will feel your knees sooner.

I didn't like that my foot hit the rear peg when on the balls of my feet. And it can't be removed as it holds the exhaust. Seat was also incredibly hard.

I’ve been looking at these types of bikes and I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t need a liter bike for this. A 650 or a 750 will actually be better for city/highway riding. Some people need all the power I want reliability and saddle bags on the back. I got my sport bike for zoomies and I refuse to ride a Harley cruiser 😂…v strom, tenere 700, versys 650, triumph 800 xc, maybe a Buell 🤷 I’m getting older my body isn’t as agile

How does a gage with 8 bars from empty to full tell you how many laps you have left? Your R1M Luna tells you how much fuel you've consumed from which you can accurately determine remaining laps left - way better than a "gauge".

🤦🏾♂️ 250 is not a highway bike…yes you can ride highway on it, but there’s much better suited bikes for that out there. The 250 is a better around town/city bike. You barely have any passing power and you’re getting blown around by any cross winds. This monster would be a good highway bike if you added wind protection and a few other things, but in its current form it would be taxing on long highway commutes. That’s the point I was making. Get a 1390 super duke r.. it’s the king of nakeds.. the most torque out of any bike you can buy that’s also fast af.. it’s a from the ground up naked built to be a super naked and not based on a super bike like all the other nakeds..
Why you dont drive the 1200S who has more torque than the 2024 Panigale and much more torque than the Streetfighter ? Torque is more fun than a lot of HP.. who wants to drive 300kmh on a naked ? Nobody!

I've had this bike for two years and let me tell you it is crazy fun and can probably keep up with pretty much anything on the street.
