woooooooooo. if it had the CG collection that'd be so rad. I love the CG's, the live actions are too shakey, but I love 1 and 3, so much.

I already own them on 4K and I don’t necessarily need the steelbooks but I’m fine with the original 4K release that came out in 2020 bro but that’s just me tho and I’m a fan of the Resident Evil movies bro 😎 and I love Milla Jovovich as a actress too

I wish this would come out in the UK but the first movie’s distribution rights are with Studio Pathé so we’ll never get a collection like this. 😭

It's a really nice looking box set, I wish there were more for series that looked like this.
I love they actually made a proper box to keep your steel books in without scratching them. I just hate the crap cardboard sleeve type that rip and crease with bend marks even the new Avatar 4k films are going with the cheap cardboard sleeve and to think how much money that film made you would of though they could of done a much better steel book set
It is a nice set. Would be tempting if I hadn't just bought the previous set. I, for one, did enjoy all the movies.I didn't play the game, so I was unbiased watching them.
They're fun movies, if they weren't connected to the games at all, they'd be held to a higher regard, I'm sure.
@@HunterBoldingVideo Quite a few movies I enjoy more than others because I haven't played the video game or read the comic book. It's nice to go into watching a movie with no expectations. Again, I actually enjoyed every Resident Evil film. The only thing I didn't like was the CG in the first few...it was terrible! But that didn't make the movies bad.

2x the money over previous set for DV and steelbooks. No thanks
Dolby Vision on average only improves the picture quality by about 10% over the normal HDR for most releases so most people won't even notice the improvement because its never a dramatic jump. What does improve the quality is the bit rate encode if the 4k disc is on a 100 GB disc but Sony slapped everyone in the face with this release since they kept all the movies on a 66 GB disc like they did last time. Usually when they add Dolby vision they up the disc from 66 gb to 100 gb like they did with Black HAwk down Godzilla, men in black etc, Terrible release.
If Almost 7 film for the Resident Evil series (include Welcome to Raccoon City) are making worst 😢

I love the movies. They are mindless fun. Do any of them do the games justice? Absolutely not, but I can separate the two.
@@JB-pl1iu it's not about separating them from the games, or being "mindless". They are impossible to watch without almost continuously thinking that "makes zero sense". Only double digit IQs could possible want to rewatch them.
If you have to switch off your brain to even get through the things, then that means its garbage, not "mindless fun". The fact they are literally famous for being dreadful, and some people still defend them, makes me feel sorry for those people's taste in film...

Dude, this isn't even a proper review. What is the 4k quality like compared to previous 4k releases? The packaging isn't even anything beyond a box from what you show/say. I mean, I get that you want to stay on the comped product lists but come on.
I don’t own the previous releases, so I don’t have anything to compare to on that front. You hear about the quality of the release in the video. Don’t know what else you’d want out of it.
These movies look much better in Dolby Vision, I would call it perfect. It really feels like being there.
