Leliana became the pope and first thing first is that she is allowed to smooch her Hero of Ferelden (That can be even more controversial if they are a different race AND/or female) the scandal
@Markoth Yeah. My Arcane Warrior Warden was quite literally invincible by the end of Awakening. He solo killed the final boss of Golems of Amgarrok on Nightmare by just basic attacking him with his magic staff. Hours of pewing later and The Warden waltzed out no worse for wear. Maybe just a bit bored, though. I hope they try and then succeed, but it's hard to imagine they could bring The Warden back into the games without it feeling immensely disappointing that he or she isn't the single-most powerful character ever encountered in the games. And with my Warden at least, it would be a further disappointment if he didn't then go about solving all the world's problems, big and small. Whenever there was a choice between saving A or saving B, he always found a way to save both.
@@GlacialScion ayyye, a fellow invincible Warden Mine was the same, but that's just because he never got hit in battle. And the damage he was capable of, dude slayed things in no time flat And yet he still chased down Morrigan, went through the mirror with her, and became a damn good husband and father, so...maybe not the dodgiest after all Regardless, think its just commonly accepted that our Wardens were all monsters in combat and our Hawkes and Inquisitors wish they were that strong
@@MiniBlackWaltz Yeah. My mage Warden had a 95 percent chance to dodge with everything up and maximum resists across the board. He'd take out the entire combined parties of both Hawke and the Inquisitor. And this is without any of the broken gold/xp/skill point exploits that I'm sure a lot of people used for their Wardens, which would leave an even more stark impression of The Warden in everyone's mind.
They won't, fans will bring so much hate to them, everyone is asking to bring him back but they 100% will hate on Bioware for bringing back lmao that's fans logic, i'd love if they would make Warden from Scared Ashes trailer canon he was so badass tbh
I know they aren't gonna make another game with the Hero of Ferelden, but i really fucking hope they make a book, or at least a comic with this story about the Calling!
EVeljko It would be easier to make a game in all honesty. At least like that you can customize your HoF, in comic books it would be impossible to get appearance and personality correctly, so many choices and options. So yeah, if anything there will be a game with HoF, maybe you will get to customize him, he says no lines, appears for a second or two and disappears in the sunset with Kieran and Morrigan. That'd be about the largest extent to which they could feature the Hero of Ferelden, unless they return to their original mute character format, which is unlikely
@QUEENDOM The Warden wasn't a predetermined character. That's the point. He (or she) was a self-insert character more than any other PC in any of the games. Plus Origins lent itself extremely well to replaying and thus many people, like myself, spent many hundreds of hours developing our ideas about who The Warden really was.
It's interesting to note how much Morrigan has changed since the first game. In the first game, she was crude, rude, unpleasant - and now she is quite charming. The point is is that people can change, if they want to. You don't have to let your past define you. Not saying it doesn't have an affect, because it does, but you can choose to rise above it to the best of your ability. When someone says: "That's just how I am", it's a cop-out. What they're really saying is: "This is how I choose to be, and I have no desire to change." Change is never easy, but it can be done. Before a man can change, he has to first want something better for himself, whether that be regarding his character, or anything else in his life. Your life is in your hands. What you do with it is up to you, and is on you.
It's a shame the Warden couldn't have been the Inquisitor in DA:I. I really hope Bioware doesn't pass up on letting their fans experience this quest to combat the Calling.
It'd be fun but doubtful for 2 reason. The look and voice People would complain they can't make their Warden because of the new engine and PC crowd who modded EVERYTHING in Origins will be loudest one on this issue 2. Everything is voiced now and the HoF was a silent protagonist who couldn't sneeze without your permission so any dialogue he/she spouts will immediately be criticized I won't care as much honestly but others won't shut up about it if they did add the Warden to any dlc
Chris Deebo ***** I have my pc heavily modded. If I took away the mods my wardens would be waltzing around headless. But I'd still fcking loooove a warden dlc. I mean it's ten years after. One can assume the warden changed their hair and aged and looks different now. Besides modders have used their skill to fix bugs the dev team has abandoned. It's by no means bs. The difficulty about integrating the Warden are the vast possibilities of personality + what you said about the voices. Not as in "the silent protagonist suddenly has a voice nagnagnag" though, more like "that's not how my Warden acts/sounds like nagnagnag".And that's something everyone would be tense about, not just pc gamers and modders.
Chris Deebo sadly you're right... the warden did have the ability to choose a voice but to hunt all those old voice actors down and have them all fully voice the dlc doesn't sound like something EA would let them do... and that's if those voice actors were any good! Lol they never had a legit dialogue. But they've retconned things before, the dlc would definitely sell. The warden could be "older" so it would make sense that they'd look different than my modded version lol(all you can really mod is hair and tattoos so no biggie)
@@DmitryAvenicci And Morrigan is´nt. The way she laughs about his natural grief und you love her for that cruel move. After he lost everyone he felt belong to, after the hell he have been through, including his horrific abuse as a child, his lack of choice by beeing shut into a monastary and forced to become a templar and lack of chance to grow and become more mature (He is also only 19/20 in DAO), you think he acts selfish? @@DmitryAvenicci Feel free to hate Alistair. Some people do. But don’t say that Morrigan is less selfish and less assholish than Alistair. That’s downright stupid.
It's insane how much detail they go into to make these connect, you're decisions before in Origins impact quite a bit in Inquisition, it's crazy I love it, the Warden you encounter can be Stroud, Alistair, or Loghain, I usually make Alistair king, so I for awhile didn't even know that was possible, and I always kill Loghain, he's an asshole.

Also the one where she talks about the Maker taking everything from her, the Warden (if they make the final sacrifice) and Divine Justinia, is so damn painful. Just the way she says that the Chantry might be right and that the Maker isn't listening or is content to be cruel... ouch, right in the feels.
How can you not like her? She is the only person in all of Thedas to give a fck about it collapsing into basic mundane shit. I hope she will help Dread Wolf to tear down the Veil.
Depending on your choices, Alistair, Morrigan, and Leliana can be together standing against impossible odds again for the first time in 10 years in universe. I like to think all the companions went on to do great things: Alistair is King of Ferelden. Leliana is Divine. Sten is now the Arishok. Oghren is a Warden (maybe Commander of the Grey after my Warden leaves to find a cure). Zevran is in business for himself, out doing the Crows. Shale is looking for a way to refers the golem process Wynne died giving her Spirit to the woman her son loves Morrigan became the magical court advisor for a time. Now? Who knows where she is. And of course, my Mabari is with my Warden. He is a good boy
I thought the bit where Morrigan asked about a romanced Warden that did not go with her through the eluvian with such curiosity was cute. It's clear she still wants to be with him. Leliana's words about a romanced Warden that was killed during the final battle made my heart ache. Thanks for the vid; I can never bring myself to make some of these decisions.

@@sneakysquirrel7352 All he does is to please his ego. He himself said that he does not like acting unless provoked. In comic he killed Yavanna just because she is "just like Flemeth and Morrigan" and liked it while all she did is restoring dragons. On the other hand Loghain did what he did because he thought it was the only thing possible and regretted it afterwards. And when I accept Loghaing into Grey Wardens while there are litteraly 3 wardens in Ferelden Alistair goes "I don't like it" stuff and leaves order while sworn while Loghain still serves Grey Wardens who hate him and even tried to execute him in DAI.
@@DmitryAvenicci Please his ego?! Idon´t know who you met, but that´s not Alistair. I met a person who had a big problem with himself, who uses his humor to hide his pain, but he punished himself by playing a himbo because he thaught he deseverved to be treated like one. He was stigmatised as a bastard, considered as a burden to everyone and so he thaught about himself. He uses his humor to make him less a burden to others. He was lonely and lost. He never had a chance to make decisions for himself but that Duncan saved him from the fate as a templar. He gave him purpose and self-confidence and than he lost everything what mattered to him. Is his desire for revenge so evil? He may not be right to leave the order, but we all have something we cannot do even when the fate of the world depends on it. It isn´´t like we all act selfish somtimes but we are well intentioned. Loghain is the enemy and how can Alistair or your Warden know what Loghain´s intentions are other than seizing power and destroying ferelden because of his paranioa. He proved by that point he has no scruple. His actions are not justifiable. How can you trust him after he tried a coup d´état and screamed: How dare you judge me? So by choosing Loghain as your new companion you betray Alistair, your entire group, the wardens and ferelden. A wonder that Alistair is against it. He surely made a mistake by leaving the order, but it was a rushly acton he surely regrets. But it is understandable. You were not in his shoes so you have no right to judge him. Just because he hates Loghain and you like Loghain he is arrogant and wrong? I never read the comics so I don´t know the context there. From my point. Alistair is a great friend and lover. He always try to make me smile, helps me dealing with the overwhelming situation as a warden and listen to my problems and fears. Is that selfish? He is couragious and disciplined in combat. He would sacrifice himself, twice in DAO and DAI for his love or his friends. He gives me hope and in exchange I listen to him and don´t judge him. I help him becoming stronger. He has his whole life before him. He can change better than Loghain in long terms. He is no saint but he reaches to the good, but he makes mistakes, but that´s human.
Inquisitor: Will his father be joining us as well? Morrigan: His father is dead. Inquisitor: . . . Inquisitor: *Will his father being joining us as well?*
I kinda agree with Rookie McHorse . The dialogue is the same, but I played with a female Warden and I remember Leliana's voice more affectionate than in this voice sample. Might be just an subjective impression but I kinda like it :)
To each their own, I noticed here there is one slight difference in the dialogue if you befriend her as male/female, but in the romantic/hatred stuff the tone are the same with the exception of changes in "him/her". Oh well biases exist, and I wouldn't blame anyone if that's what they want to believe. I am just skeptical, that's all.
SoznyW yeah, I just talked from memory. As I said 'subjective impression'. :) I don't think there's reason for scepticism. My romance for her was female, so it probably just adds more essence to it when she says 'she'. Vice versa for male romances.
I meant to say that I am skeptical if her tone/manner of speaking becomes kinder, warmer or [insert another adjective here] when being romanced with specific gender. Unless there is a change in dialogue (which I think there is not, unless I missed something), I am more inclined to believe there is no change in her tone at all - because it implies there is an inconsistency in the voice acting. I did not mean to offend you personally though,it's just because Leliana is one of my most favorite characters in the game (besides Morrigan), I like discussing her. ^^
if i will see in dragon age 4 a character creator for the warden (and fuck the voice problem you can use a pitch option like sims 3 or saints row 3 did)...i swear i`ll buy the game for all my frends that i used to chat about dragon age origin`s epicness!
Lol, Leliana gets "I'm fine" while Morrigan get's sexts! Sounds about right! :D Also, good job collecting all this. Did you just play stuff from folders or actually play the game 5000 times? :D

It's almost a shame that flemeth just straight up took the arch demon soul out of Kieran and then got her soul and the arch demon soul taken by solas. Would have been interesting to see Kieran do some cool shit like mind control darkspawn
Morrigan is the best romance option in dragon age and in inqusition they made her visually more attractive and to add insult to injury you cant romance her cuz she belongs to the warden...... How i wish the warden was the inqusitor . The other romance options are ugly af
Everyone seems to be so happy with the romance in Inquisition, but I found the romances of that game rather dull. Origins and DA2 had amazing romances, so it's too bad Inquisition couldn't live up to it's predecessors in that regard, but then again, Inquisition didn't live up to it's predecessors in any other area either.
The best romance in Inquisition is Solas. It makes the overall story very dramatic, intense and sad. So glad I chose a female elf for my main (and only) playthrough.
I wouldn't have minded romancing Sera or lelianna again but it's sad they only gave a few poor options for romances . I do however think that it would be dope to romance a female blood mage , a demon or an elightened dark spawn.
13:23 this part right here was something I really missed in DA:O. You could talk with Alister about Morrigan´s proposal but never with Leliana - cut out due to not having enough time I´d assume. Nice tho that Leliana mentions Kieran while being romanced by my warden..... Wait, does that mean Leliana could be Kieran´s step-mom if you romanced her as a man and did the Dark Ritual?
Maybe the Warden comes back as an advisor? And to fix the problem of voicing, just bring back the people who voiced the in game comments of th available voices from DA:O
Can someone tell my why Bioware wont make a game with my fcking warden? I have heard people say that they cannot wich i wonder why. How hard is it to make a comeback for your character? Your warden doesnt have to look the same(crappy face tattoos anyways).
The looks are nothing, but just think about all the posible outcomes for the HoF, it's origin makes for 6 diferent combinations alone, then forget every little subplot and character interaction, and think about where he ended up. He/she could be a king/queen of ferelden, a warden commander, escaped with zevran and find a cure to the blight, have an old god baby, have a normal baby, or, and this is the one that really fucks everything up, the warden could be dead
@@JuanMartinez-si5dn So they just make that the background options for every starter pack character creation, along with gender, appearance so on just like how you could start off as a Dalish Elf or City Elf. You know character creation with a history of character option. Now if you killed the Warden off they could have a sixth option where you play a new grey warden or a totally new character that plays into the story. It seems difficult sure but it's definitely possible...Or they could just remake Origins with some beautiful graphics, extended maps with more free roam, maybe even add some extra stuff. I wish this was what they were working on instead of multiplayer DA: 4 ...ugh...
So I loved Morrigan back in origins. Now I cant play this game cuz garbage origin doesnt work on my Pc. I preety much understand Morrigan and you can see the slight change even in origins especially at witch hunt. If you followed her and talked. Perfect character in my book.
They were really going somewhere with the Warden. Maybe it wascut, or maybe it will be exploredmore in a possible sequel when Bioware gets its head out of its ass.
She can. As Divine, she evens makes changes saying all members of the Chantry, from brother to Divine, shall be allowed to have relationships, as she considers love to be The Maker’s greatest gift.

I hate how we can't access some of these dialogue options because the Keep won't connect to the old games anymore. Even though that's what it was designed to do.
I thought Leliana was a lesbian, I never played the first dragon age but when I used dragon keep to pair the hero with Leliana it changed the hero from male to female
My Warden married Anora despite romancing Morrigan. He didn't go through the Eluvian and decided to stay faithful to Anora because she's needs at least one husband to be at the very least, loyal, faithful. Kerian is still born but he is not a god-baby he is just a normal boy
They’re dead in the default world state so if the most contact we could have with our Warden would be through a letter or reference from another character
Is it possible for the Warden to die later if they don't make the ultimate sacrifice in DA:O? Morrigan says "His father is dead", but if the Warden is Kieran's father it means that they did the ritual and the Warden did thus not sacrifice himself. So when did he die?
@@davidkeller7031 I done that and I survived anyways I had Loghain do the ritual and I took Shale Leliana and Sten I think was my 3 companion I took the Archdemons head and sadly Riordan died

you have to sign into the dragonage keep website and fill out all the details of your save for DAO and DA2. then import it when you start a game on DAI. it doesnt matter which version of the games you play, pc, xbox, ps. they all work because you sign into your EA account.
+david Cruz in the ritual -where asks you to impregnate her with an old god baby- is before the final battle, and in the final battle the warden can die slaying the archdemon

Too bad, my warden sacrificed herself. I imagine Morrigan will bitch at her for being such a good person! Why can't anybody make a slap Morrigan mod for DAI? Shut up Morrigan, I want to save drowning kittens! But at least, she's a good friend of Leliana.

Samuel Meredith it could be an option. we can play the hero or a new character it would be cool
Mike Laidlaw says constantly on Twitter that we'll never see our grey warden again because some people killed him/her off. But we'll see. People sometimes lie for impact.
Leliana: This time I will join him and nothing will come between us (Makes her the Divine)
Kain Xander 😂
doesn't matter, she says they still see each other when she's divine and never stopped loving each other
Jerk 🤣
But as you well know, Leliana does not follow rules, she bend them to her will. That's my girl Leliana.
Leliana became the pope and first thing first is that she is allowed to smooch her Hero of Ferelden (That can be even more controversial if they are a different race AND/or female) the scandal
I know it's difficult, since he/she wasn't voice acted, but I wish they would make a way to bring back the Hero of Ferelden as a character.
@Markoth
Yeah.
I’ve never understood why people think he or she is mute. You pick a voice for them in the character creation and constantly give out battle cries.
@@GlacialScion ayyye, a fellow invincible Warden
Mine was the same, but that's just because he never got hit in battle. Dude was the dodgiest rogue Thedas had ever seen, don't have to be able to take the hit if you can ensure the hit will never land (granted, he still COULD take hits, armor goes a long way, but still). And the damage he was capable of, dude slayed things in no time flat
And yet he still chased down Morrigan, went through the mirror with her, and became a damn good husband and father, so...maybe not the dodgiest after all
Regardless, think its just commonly accepted that our Wardens were all monsters in combat and our Hawkes and Inquisitors wish they were that strong
@@MiniBlackWaltz
Yeah.
@QUEENDOM
The Warden wasn't a predetermined character.
What they're really saying is: "This is how I choose to be, and I have no desire to change."
Change is never easy, but it can be done. Before a man can change, he has to first want something better for himself, whether that be regarding his character, or anything else in his life.
Your life is in your hands. What you do with it is up to you, and is on you.
“It happened in fiction, therefore it can happen in real life”
That’s the entire crux of your statement.
I think Leliana says a line during her personal quest saying that the Warden accompanied her when she met Dorothea at Valence.
Really thats cool (not sarcasm)
It's a shame the Warden couldn't have been the Inquisitor in DA:I. I really hope Bioware doesn't pass up on letting their fans experience this quest to combat the Calling.
It'd be fun but doubtful for 2 reason. The look and voice
People would complain they can't make their Warden because of the new engine and PC crowd who modded EVERYTHING in Origins will be loudest one on this issue
2. Everything is voiced now and the HoF was a silent protagonist who couldn't sneeze without your permission so any dialogue he/she spouts will immediately be criticized
I won't care as much honestly but others won't shut up about it if they did add the Warden to any dlc
Chris Deebo *****
I have my pc heavily modded.
Chris Deebo plus a dlc wouldn't make sense if your warden died at the final battle
xXStretcHXx Only for some. That is the beauty of choice my friend.

11:43 Jesus, I can't believe they even added a line of dialogue for if you "killed" Leiliana after poisoning the Urn of Sacred Ashes. Damn, these developers thought of everything! Also the one where she talks about the Maker taking everything from her, the Warden (if they make the final sacrifice) and Divine Justinia, is so damn painful. Just the way she says that the Chantry might be right and that the Maker isn't listening or is content to be cruel... ouch, right in the feels.
Maybe you weren’t around for the substantial backlash around Leliana’s “resurrection”. There was no way for them not to address it.
BioWare needs to stick to RPGs and actually FINISH them before release. When they do that, we get magic. When they don’t, we get Anthem and Andromeda.
Okay, the way she spoke about the Warden in this game made me like her a lot more lol
I like to think all the companions went on to do great things:
Alistair is King of Ferelden.
Leliana is Divine.
Sten is now the Arishok.
Oghren is a Warden (maybe Commander of the Grey after my Warden leaves to find a cure).
Zevran is in business for himself, out doing the Crows.
Shale is looking for a way to refers the golem process
Wynne died giving her Spirit to the woman her son loves
Morrigan became the magical court advisor for a time. Now? Who knows where she is.
And of course, my Mabari is with my Warden. He is a good boy
You need not worry Leliana, at worst your friend became a god and is richer than the empress of Orlais.
Just listening to Claudia Black's voice without playing the game makes it really clear how good she is.

“Alistair, that wonderful boy” thus reinforcing the fact that Leliana wanted to be the meat in a Warden sandwich.
Leliana's much more gentle if she's with a Female Warden.
How can you even tell? XD those are pretty much same dialogues, the difference is just the subject.
I don't think there's reason for scepticism.

The problem with Solas is that while it's a great romance from a story perspective, the romance itself is rather bland and lacking in chemistry.
I wouldn't have minded romancing Sera or lelianna again but it's sad they only gave a few poor options for romances . I do however think that it would be dope to romance a female blood mage , a demon or an elightened dark spawn.

Nice tho that Leliana mentions Kieran while being romanced by my warden..... Wait, does that mean Leliana could be Kieran´s step-mom if you romanced her as a man and did the Dark Ritual?
Would it be that bad if the warden comes back as a reference being a character talking trough texts? I personally wouldnt mind
