This option is available even if you refused the ritual. There are three possibilities: 1. She loves the warden and the warden can change her to be a better person. 2. She loves the warden and change him to be like her (if he doesn't like her yet). 3. She still has some uses for the warden, or at least for a male who trust or/and loves her.
would love to see in the next dragon age that warden and morrigan are married. she is expecting. the child will be a girl. who looks like a young flemeth. they are family with the dog. who went to find his master. they are also dangerous to fight. with dog, warden, morrigan, and kierran be mix of both parents.

@Kalenz You sound unnecessarily bitter. If you don't care then just move on with your life. I'll look forward to Dragon Age 4 and see how it goes. If it fails then ok, no loss on my part.
This scene always lead me to believe that she knew or at least foresaw the events in Inquisition and Flemeth and the dread wolf. When she said “change will set them free” I expected she meant the elven gods, but after playing through inquisition I’m still confused about some of the stuff she was referring too in this scene
A lot was retconned, rewritten, or changed in retrospect. By DA2 they already knew they wanted Flemeth to be Mythal so i do think thats what she is vaguely referencing here. Then Flemeth in DA2 parrots similar words about change coming to the world. The only thing that doesnt add up is Morrigan being surprised about Flemeth being Mythal. But it could be she had a general idea. Honestly Inquisition is where they dropped the ball with this plot.
@@cristianoliver4447 I don’t think it’s surprising that Morrigan didn’t know. She left to fight alongside the Hero of Ferelden before any ritual to transfer Mythal into her was probably even discussed and at that point she was pretty much distrustful of anything her mother was telling her. She thought her mother was merely a witch who transferred her soul into the bodies of her daughters to live indefinitely. She wasn’t technically far off.
@TheSEEDFACTOR It's Sentinel armor from DAO Awakening. You can get it in Blackmarsh, there’s a side quest during Justice recruitment mission in the Fade and once you’re back from there you can access 4 chests that contain the armor pieces.
I did a playthrough with one of my Wardens in a relationship with Morrigan, I like how they throw all these mysteries into this one scene, just raises more questions and leads you to make up your own assumptions and ideas on what's happening (example: though you don't see him, I think your Dog goes with you through the Portal. I mean the Warden wouldn't just leave him right?) looking forward to seeing the Warden with Morrigan in future games, maybe in Inquisition :D
@TheSEEDFACTOR You get the ring only if you romance her, and even if you do you can still throw it away, it changes the dialogue a bit, not a big deal. Same for Wardens who didn’t romance her, you just don’t get the option to leave with her then, but it still makes sense. As for the Wardens who didn’t complete the game it doesn’t make any sense, I mean why would you search for her if she’s still in your party, right? ;)
my reaction for when i accidently read what Witch Hunt was about that she would be a villan in Witch hunt and i was so scared that the game would fuck up my love statues on Morrigan(i play manly the good guy in games, so just guess how hard it is to balance her appeal not dropping while still not go to far in my own morals) and Man i'm happy this happen, but i still wanna know, dafuq happen with Finn and the elf(i can't write her name and is to lazy to search it up). Well, i might sound selfish but fuck them(not Legion, which i called the dog, who i will still say was with us in) i'm with Morrigan and i don't give a fuck about as i actully did get a "happy" ending for a game with a character i liked :D(Mass Effect just had to make me cry because of seeing Tali that sad D:)
@TheSEEDFACTOR The DA team did a very good job redesigning Flemeth. They screwed Zevran, Alistair and Teagan though. So I’m really hoping Morrigan will still be pretty in DA3.
When I played the DLC for Origins I was already too emotionally invested in the relationship my character had with Morgan, along with the storyline as well so I followed Morgan just as depicted in this video , thankfully when I linked my history with the game on the EA servers when I played Inquisition I got to see a little bit of the after story and it definitely made me happy seeing what happened along with how Morgan reacted when I pushed her to contact The Grey Warden commander of the fifthblight, aka me.
@knives4cash I think she would never do such a thing, she was devastated when she learned what Flemeth was planning to do with her so I guess she won’t just go and do the same thing. Besides, she wouldn’t need a special old-god-souled-child for that, right?
@TheSEEDFACTOR Not at all, you can import a character form before beating the game or even create a new one. I’m not sure what Morrigan will say though. About the baby and the ritual.
@TheSEEDFACTOR It’s quite ok with me that she leaves, makes sense anyway. And you can catch up with her in Witch Hunt so it doesn’t bother me too much. And she’ll be back in DA3 yey
