The Text,
make Randy's Voice great !❤️
No one other than Randy Newman and Jerry Lee Lewis have ever dominated both compositional piano and lyrics from the late 1950's to 2024.
Tough acts for anyone to ever follow. Listen, enjoy and learn. In particular, ...Disney!
What a find!!!!
Thank you Uncle Remus. I'm here because it's Sunday, July 2, 2023, and while at the local Lowes to replace the handle on my downstairs' toilet, the in store music, which I dread, playing an obvious Patriotic theme...plays Randy's, Follow the Flag Forever. Algorithm gone awry!🤣
When I got home, I had to play it (Have the CD, but easier to RUclips) and RUclips kindly offered THIS on their playlist.
My only other comment...If this gig was in Germany, re: the subtitles, the audience response would have been more enthusiastic.
Many thanks for this, wonderful solo performances and great to have live versions of some of my favourite RN songs, from the era of Trouble in Paradise to World Isn't Fair.
Priceless! Well posted Uncle Remus.
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing this!
we
so goddamn much

It would be totally gorgeous if Randy [before he dies] wrote an 'anti Disney' song! Oh ... the irony and based on the fact that Randy essentially 'sold out' to film scores for mainstream Hollywood.
However, his mantra appears to be 'It's Money That Matters'. Great composer/player , but a money lover. I want to view his Last Will and Testament.
