Lucie, I've been 1 week behind you this pregnancy, but I had my baby last Thursday! So a preemie at 35 weeks, but he's doing so well. Just thought I'd comment as I always comment saying we're pregnant at the same time!

I got a cheap primark bath sheet was lovely as it was fluffy but wash it first. 🙈 I had huge granny nickers through my labour and after they were ace. So soft think tesco. Bras I got from amazon. I was in hospital 2 night 3 days lived in joggers and bra it was so hot ( in December). 1 tip we was lent it from a. Friend but a hand held rechargeable fan was a life saver and a flannel /face cloth. I couldn’t get flip flops on my feet they were that swollen slippers worked. Pringles 👍🏼

You’re really glowing - love your hair that way too! Hope your birth goes as planned and you get to use some of those lovely products! I didn’t get a chance to even think about all that when in labour two months ago, so a lot of the stuff I took stayed untouched! Don’t forget your face mask (only had to wear it when away from my bed area) and if you’ve got a hand fan of any kind - it’s gets sooooo hot in the hospital! I was unexpectedly kept in for three days due to complications, so always good to overpack rather than need stuff brought in. I also placed spare stuff in a bag at home just incase, so my other half didn’t have to search for things and risk him bringing in the wrong items - so glad I did now! Sending lots of good luck birthing vibes. Xxx

Do you know if the arnica tablets are safe whilst bf. I'm 39 weeks and don't know if I should get some as I didn't with my first born and was in tatters after him. I plan to bf again but wondered if you knew whether you can take them whilst feeding. Everything I'm reading online says it's unsafe and can call baby to have anemia etc. Thank you and
    Goodluck xx

I believe so because they are homeopathic, but you should consult your Gp or midwife first to check x

Would love to know more about your hypnobirthing check list lol also your placenta encapsulation! My midwife didn’t know much about encapsulating and so it put me off? Also I’ve only ever done the breathing techniques to get me through labour which I’ve followed on RUclips but you seem to know more about oils and such which makes perfect sense as I tend to use my towel as a breathing aid because I can smell my washing powder 😂 I’m a week behind you but I always go over I’m due 27th but I’m guessing 8th October 🤷🏻‍♀️love nelsons mum Ruby x

The positive birth company book is well worth reading or the digital pack, it’s totally changed my outlook on labour! I will defo talk more about the placenta encapsulation after I’ve had it all done, but I have lots of friends who did it and felt amazing. I’m using the company placenta plus and I didn’t even ask my midwife about it as I know a lot of them don’t know enough x
