I suggest having a buffer. That way you can segment your games in either 1) your collection of X games and then 2) your buffer with Y games to try. Then you could estimate how many game you want to play just for joy from your collection, the time available in your year and that should guide you to how much is X... 100 maybe? Finally doing some similar math you could estimate how big can the buffer be for you to keep enyoing your collection and also being able to add new games and cull any from the collection if aplicable :) I also want to thank you for trusting me regarding Horus Heresy suggestion. I think that some FFG games were a little ahead of its time and some games suffered the consequences... HH, Middle Earth Quest and Gears of War are some examples. Greatings from Argentina my friend!

Horus Heresy was my fist Board game, hehe. Chaos In The Old World and MEQ I got a little later. Painting all HH minis was my introduction into the world of table top games & painting hobby. Unfortunately I'm not playing it that much as I want, because my wife doesn't like it as much as our other FFG games, of whom I am some kind of a fanboy and I'm completely with you that they were ahead of its time... Sometimes I look at their games and I can't believe even by the way they look that they are that old... And interestingly a lot of their games feel unique even nowadays when it looks like there is everything out there in the market! Even today I got a pack for WH Conquest LCG from eBay :). If I can suggest something to try, that LCG is maybe their best 1vs1 LCG, except Netrunner, which is my N1 game of All Time! I'm not suggesting it for your channel coverage, it just deserves to be seen. Great design by E. Lang!

It was actually your “perfect board game collection” videos that had me first subscribe to the channel! I found your approach to maintaining a 100-game collection really interesting compared to a lot of other channels. I do think it’s fair for you to keep an incoming pile of unplayed games separate from your collection though, since selling off a game just to buy it back again seems more wasteful than having a few extra boxes around that you’re yet to play. The StarCraft board game looks super interesting. Whenever I see StarCraft I’m reminded of when my brother came across me playing his old copy of the original game, and he ended up buying me StarCraft II for Christmas later that year so I wouldn’t be stuck in 1998 -- it was still a great game but the upgrade was certainly a welcome addition. Congrats on 2K, keep it up!
First of all, thank you for sticking around, I appreciate it. I think I will do exactly that but I have to keep a small buffer shelf of unplayed games. Concratz on your 2k subscribers. Best games played in Essen were Rebirth & The Bad Karmas. Best buy was Legacy Kingdoms. I hope that Tom Vasels law "If a game is that good their will be a reprint" will also aply on Starcraft. I love the IP and that is my grail game, especially with the Brood war expansion.

Glad to see you found Quartermaster General BTW. It’s best with the highest play count. Does a great job of summarizing a conflict via a card playing mechanism. Not so much a “war game” as it is about keeping your troops in supply. Also best to play with others who have played the game and know how each country plays. Might be a downside considering your moving. Good luck with the move.

Take your time and get settled after the move, we will still be here for whenever new content comes! Also, don't apologize for a bigger video. I for one love the longer videos and it gives more insight in to how you are curating and your thought process. As far as your question regarding the 100. I think it is totally alright to have a review shelf. It is unfair to yourself to get rid of things you know you like for something you haven't played yet. I want those 100 games to be a true representation of what you love playing. I have recently found with my collection that I have to be ruthless about games that overlap. I am constantly comparing games to see if they actually justify a spot on my shelf. Just my thoughts though! Excited to hear how the move goes and what new board game communities you can find in Switzerland!

Thank you very much Chris 😊 So basically Revenant is a worker placement game where you can upgrade your ship and your crew and your actions can affect other players to some degree.. you are all fighting the Voidborn but also very individually trying to score more points. I wouldn't say it's semi-coop game even though it has a bit of this element.

Finally you got Exodus PC! 😮😮 For me it's the 2nd best 4X (ti4 on top) I really like that game. I have it with all the expansions, but the Edge of Extinction is mandatory (gives asymmetric power/factions). And for that price it was a steal! Amazing deal! About your collection: A game that isn't played, it's not part of a collection, it's one extra bedside table 😂😂 so doesn't count for the collection Thank you for your content! @ezbgames IMHO you should, the dune uprising has a better dynamics than the OG. Hope you find time to play it if you can't review it... expansion Bloodlines coming next year.
The amount if games you want at home depends how large your "Top x" games is. If you have a review shelf, you have your Top 100 and rotate games out when you find something better. If not, you effectively have a Top 90 or Top 95, depending on how much games to review you have. It's also not that bad, because you are trimming the worst of your Top 100, you will still have 90 or 95 games that you like more and the game that entered and you don't like will be the first to leave. So it's personal preference: Do as you wish ;)

Congrats on the 2k subscriber milestone! 100 games is already too many. Keep it strict. For context, even if you played every single day, you would play each game at most 3-4 times per year. I personally like to play my games multiple times so I’m aiming for 25 games.
I played Starcraft for many many years. As life got busier, I started to prefer the slower pace of board games :) I would love to play Starcraft the board game, but I am also happy for everyone who gets it! In regards to the hard limit to 100 games, I really like the "format". I like it because makes you much more "relatable" and close to a common player who cannot really afford to have 500 games around. Having said so, i think it is fair to allow some buffer shelf for the games yet to play, which eventually can enter or leave your house/collection according to the experience you had whilst trying them
I hear you and I find it very interesting. So some sort of a limited shelf (maybe like 10 games?) that can wait to be played before actually taking a decision about it. Oh and I absolutely agree that I am someone who CAN NOT afford to have 500 games 😅
@@ezbgames something like that. And having this "waiting room shelf" will make a "game entering officially the collection" a sort of seal of approval of your channel. A sort of living top 100 games. If you get rid of another game only for the sake of trying another, it is a bit of risky move.
Glad you had a great time at Essen man. Honestly, me and a friend went for the first time ever and thought that it was a real slog. We had a few super weird interactions, rude staff, most demos fell really flat (the few we could even get to play), and super crowded. I anticipated it to be crowded but it felt like they hadn’t planned for it enough. Why the hell did GW have the queue to submit golden demon entries also block one entire wall of the display cabinets?! Weird decisions. On top of insanely unreliable travel to and from the con, it was a bit of a nightmare. Obviously not the universal experience and I would guess we had some bad luck but still sucked. Same we didn’t see you, I would have said high! So cool you have Defence of Procyon III. I bought it way after the crowdfunding and I have yet to get it to the table but it looks super unique and interesting. Going to paint it and get it to the table soon.
Wow I'm so sorry this was your experience.. but I can definitely understand it. People do tend to be less patient, especially after the 2nd day.. I hope your next experience (if it will happen) will be a better one. And I hope that till you bring Defence of Procyon III to the table, I'll already have a video explaining it 😇
I am still buthurt that I sold my copy of starcraft and brood wars the board games for like 80 euros back in 2017. It is to this day one of the best if not the best strategy board games ever. every single game was always soooo tight till the very last turn. it just was hard to get onto the table without hardcore gamers.
Ohhh ouch... that is painful indeed. And I agree 100% that this game is for the fans out there.. the 'casual' gamer probably won't get into this game. But it is SSSSOOOOO good!!!
Congratulations on 2k subscribers, I subscribed to your channel after I watched your Europa Universalis review. I still come back and watch that video occasionally, it always cheers me up! Jealous your moving to Switzerland, a beautiful country great part of Europe. I have been trying to move to Europe but it is hard to get to get a start. I think you should stay to 100 games, otherwise you will end up having 1000s of games and it becomes a burden. But I think new and unplayed games should be temporarily outside of the 100 games. Then you need to limit these temporary games to say 10 games so you are incentivised to play them and put them into your collection or sell them. So your collection is really 100+10 at most.

I have a European passport through my family but finding it difficult to find a job that will pay enough to live. I have tried to learn a language but I am not good enough to get a decent job yet. I am super interested in the Rome total war game. Haven't backed it, but it was one of my favorite games growing up :) Regarding having buffer of games outside of 100 can be tricky. Personally i find limitations of 100 games super interesting and neat. Having more games kinda defeats your purpose of 100 games challenge. Its always going to be a moving thing, but having more games then 100 would kinda defeat whole challenge. Though it was me, i would have buffer just because of the reasons you mentioned :D

Supp mate! In commenting just to say I really love the passion you put in the same games i love (like starcraft!). Like a month a ago you told me about Heroes 3 board game and how you "dislike" it. At the end i take the All-in (with all expansions from this last week KS), i will just sell if its not what i expect to be... but nostalgia... is nostalgia my friend. Just to mention I really take in consideration everything you said (in fact I openned a full thread in BGG just commenting what you told me). Continue this way with the channel, not beeing sold by "I-give-you-a-free-copy-of-my-game-and-you-give-me-a-good-review". So if it happens that you have to come here anytime, you can count with a Starcraft Brood War with a beer, so dont hesitate to mention it. Starcraft is in my top 3. Really looking forward about your experience with Proxima. I was looking into it for a faster 4x game... Where eventually I landed on March if the Ants instead, which is really a faster one. I was concerned proxima would have been too long anyway, despite being shorter than other heavy 4Xs

Let me know if you have any tip when you master it edit : I think it is fair to have a ''content creator'' shelf and eventually games can go into the ''permanent'' collection. The only challenge is to stop the ''content creator'' shelf to get out of control and take over the house.

2012 I bought Duels of the Planeswalkers on the Xbox Arcade and it came with a free "Grave Titan" promo card. Went to the nearest game shop in the mall that participated to get my free card and I saw the Starcraft board game with the expansion that my mom said would be my birthday present. I said no because I wanted something else instead and I don't even remember what it was lol. Now that I'm into board gaming more seriously I always regret that day since the game is so hard to come by now 🤣
I find it totaly cool to put all the new, unplayed games to an inbox pile and only when you've played them they go to your 100 games no more no less collection. But think of limiting the inbox, otherwise you'll have 200 games (and more) ;-) Great to.see "Shogun" in your pile. I love the game, but safly it won't come to the table that often

So A&A is something that I tried a long time ago but didn't get back to it. I remember it was super long, but I should definitely try and get this again to have a more solid point of view. @@ezbgames actually I like and own many Euro games. In the end a lot of 4X games are euro games in the core, or at least with euro mechanism. In Voidfall I dislike the core - having several cards on hand, with three actions, single actions could be on two different cards, you choosing which card to play, which actions , etc. It is just too much, and I don't have good feeling afterward. I love simple action-selection. Like in Eclipse or CW.
You should only have a game enter your collection once you play it and if you find out that you like it. I would not consider a game I bought but not yet played to have entered my collection. Then, like you said, you run the risk of getting rid of something you like more and the game entering your collection is a dud. For me, once I play a game and decide I want to keep, I then do my analysis of the collection to see what gets removed.
show me the money have always been interested in a big convention like Essen, but cost and time commitment make it hard (esp given my unplayed game collection lol}
A wise man once said: When they are bad games, those you buy; selling them off, not hurt the heart so much. 🥴 But seriously, the 100 mark is a good point of orientation but shouldn't be carved in stone. That doesn't mean a green flag to go up to 200, but if there is a seasonal bloat so be it. As long you even it out later on. This is much easier to do when you play daily than just once a week or so. I massively culled a couple months ago, just to find myself with more than before atm, due to a massive fulfillment wave.
I backed Rome, I fear it's not really a good game, but I was okay with that when I backed it, because it definitely has potential and I loved the PC Game. I think everything comes down on how good the game flow is, because they carried a lot of complexity from the PC game over to the board game adaptation and because of this there is always the risk that it is too much of a slow burner for my taste. But I hope for the best.
I'm so happy you wrote thos comment. Unfortunately, the rulebook(s) are not so clear. I'm already on my way of learning the game but it's pretty harsh. Especially the combat. And when and rulebook is not clear- the game feels a bit stuck. I'll try to produce a video of a playthrough as quickly as possible, but this is a tough mission :/
@@ezbgames you definitely should, because you are one of the few who has the chance to do that at the moment... no but seriously I would be happy if you can do that. The developer has a few videos out at the moment, but the pacing was ultra slow and sadly they were a bit confused by the rules themselves (at least in the first showcase of that game, but maybe the guy who presented the game was just not so well prepared). So a preview/review or some thoughts on that game would be very welcome for a lot of people who backed that game.

I agree with you when it comes to FFG, but some games are still here. About a year ago I did a video about my top picks for such adaptations. I think that games like Frostpunk, This War of Mine, Comoany of Heroes and Darkest Dungeon are very good!
Total War??? Haha. There is an old game called Ikusa, its actually a newer Version of an even older game called Shogun (and some other Name too) Anyway this Shogun/Ikusa was the Inspiration for the very first Total War PC game Shogun
A friend of mine has it. We stopped playing it when we found Runewars some 10y ago. I Kind of still like Ikusa, although maybe more the idea of it;))) It can be really horrible being on the other side of an upleveled Shogun. I remeber they can move 3 but not 1 or something. And it is a great game to be a betrayer and end friendship haha... Anyway as I also played some TW, especially Medivial 2, I later found out that those games are connected. I mean it was just the Inspiration for Total war. I wonder what you will say, please make a WotR Style rules Video!!!!:) Yeah I will tell you about Seti, I think I will like it having red the rules. I like the theme, I love CGE, and I sometimes really enjoy euros. All the best for your move!!
Runewars is such a great game!! Oh my God TW Medieval II is my favorite of the whole series!!! 😍 love it.. I did not a long time ago and explanatory playthrough for WotR. I basically explain 95% of the rules there.. check it out- people seem to like this a lot.

I suggest having a buffer. That way you can segment your games in either 1) your collection of X games and then 2) your buffer with Y games to try. Then you could estimate how many game you want to play just for joy from your collection, the time available in your year and that should guide you to how much is X... 100 maybe? Finally doing some similar math you could estimate how big can the buffer be for you to keep enyoing your collection and also being able to add new games and cull any from the collection if aplicable :) I also want to thank you for trusting me regarding Horus Heresy suggestion. I think that some FFG games were a little ahead of its time and some games suffered the consequences... HH, Middle Earth Quest and Gears of War are some examples. Greatings from Argentina my friend!

Horus Heresy was my fist Board game, hehe. Chaos In The Old World and MEQ I got a little later. Painting all HH minis was my introduction into the world of table top games & painting hobby. Unfortunately I'm not playing it that much as I want, because my wife doesn't like it as much as our other FFG games, of whom I am some kind of a fanboy and I'm completely with you that they were ahead of its time... Sometimes I look at their games and I can't believe even by the way they look that they are that old... And interestingly a lot of their games feel unique even nowadays when it looks like there is everything out there in the market! Even today I got a pack for WH Conquest LCG from eBay :). If I can suggest something to try, that LCG is maybe their best 1vs1 LCG, except Netrunner, which is my N1 game of All Time! I'm not suggesting it for your channel coverage, it just deserves to be seen. Great design by E. Lang!

It was actually your “perfect board game collection” videos that had me first subscribe to the channel! I found your approach to maintaining a 100-game collection really interesting compared to a lot of other channels. I do think it’s fair for you to keep an incoming pile of unplayed games separate from your collection though, since selling off a game just to buy it back again seems more wasteful than having a few extra boxes around that you’re yet to play.
The StarCraft board game looks super interesting. Whenever I see StarCraft I’m reminded of when my brother came across me playing his old copy of the original game, and he ended up buying me StarCraft II for Christmas later that year so I wouldn’t be stuck in 1998 -- it was still a great game but the upgrade was certainly a welcome addition.

Concratz on your 2k subscribers. Best games played in Essen were Rebirth & The Bad Karmas. Best buy was Legacy Kingdoms. I hope that Tom Vasels law "If a game is that good their will be a reprint" will also aply on Starcraft. I love the IP and that is my grail game, especially with the Brood war expansion.

Glad to see you found Quartermaster General BTW. It’s best with the highest play count. Does a great job of summarizing a conflict via a card playing mechanism. Not so much a “war game” as it is about keeping your troops in supply. Also best to play with others who have played the game and know how each country plays. Might be a downside considering your moving. Good luck with the move.

Take your time and get settled after the move, we will still be here for whenever new content comes! Also, don't apologize for a bigger video. I for one love the longer videos and it gives more insight in to how you are curating and your thought process.
As far as your question regarding the 100. I think it is totally alright to have a review shelf. It is unfair to yourself to get rid of things you know you like for something you haven't played yet. I want those 100 games to be a true representation of what you love playing. I have recently found with my collection that I have to be ruthless about games that overlap. I am constantly comparing games to see if they actually justify a spot on my shelf.
Just my thoughts though! Excited to hear how the move goes and what new board game communities you can find in Switzerland!

So basically Revenant is a worker placement game where you can upgrade your ship and your crew and your actions can affect other players to some degree.. you are all fighting the Voidborn but also very individually trying to score more points. I wouldn't say it's semi-coop game even though it has a bit of this element.

I didn't try out many games but my favorite was Mordred by CMON (although it was a small demo keep me interested in the game), my least favorite was Altay too simple/streamline for me.
Finally you got Exodus PC! 😮😮
For me it's the 2nd best 4X (ti4 on top) I really like that game. I have it with all the expansions, but the Edge of Extinction is mandatory (gives asymmetric power/factions). And for that price it was a steal! Amazing deal!
About your collection: A game that isn't played, it's not part of a collection, it's one extra bedside table 😂😂 so doesn't count for the collection

The amount if games you want at home depends how large your "Top x" games is. If you have a review shelf, you have your Top 100 and rotate games out when you find something better. If not, you effectively have a Top 90 or Top 95, depending on how much games to review you have. It's also not that bad, because you are trimming the worst of your Top 100, you will still have 90 or 95 games that you like more and the game that entered and you don't like will be the first to leave.
So it's personal preference: Do as you wish ;)

Congrats on the 2k subscriber milestone! 100 games is already too many. Keep it strict. For context, even if you played every single day, you would play each game at most 3-4 times per year. I personally like to play my games multiple times so I’m aiming for 25 games.

In regards to the hard limit to 100 games, I really like the "format".
I like it because makes you much more "relatable" and close to a common player who cannot really afford to have 500 games around.
Having said so, i think it is fair to allow some buffer shelf for the games yet to play, which eventually can enter or leave your house/collection according to the experience you had whilst trying them
I hear you and I find it very interesting. So some sort of a limited shelf (maybe like 10 games?) that can wait to be played before actually taking a decision about it.
Oh and I absolutely agree that I am someone who CAN NOT afford to have 500 games 😅

Glad you had a great time at Essen man. Honestly, me and a friend went for the first time ever and thought that it was a real slog. We had a few super weird interactions, rude staff, most demos fell really flat (the few we could even get to play), and super crowded. I anticipated it to be crowded but it felt like they hadn’t planned for it enough. Why the hell did GW have the queue to submit golden demon entries also block one entire wall of the display cabinets?! Weird decisions. On top of insanely unreliable travel to and from the con, it was a bit of a nightmare. Obviously not the universal experience and I would guess we had some bad luck but still sucked.

So cool you have Defence of Procyon III. I bought it way after the crowdfunding and I have yet to get it to the table but it looks super unique and interesting. Going to paint it and get it to the table soon.

I am still buthurt that I sold my copy of starcraft and brood wars the board games for like 80 euros back in 2017. It is to this day one of the best if not the best strategy board games ever. every single game was always soooo tight till the very last turn. it just was hard to get onto the table without hardcore gamers.

Jealous your moving to Switzerland, a beautiful country great part of Europe. I have been trying to move to Europe but it is hard to get to get a start.
I think you should stay to 100 games, otherwise you will end up having 1000s of games and it becomes a burden. But I think new and unplayed games should be temporarily outside of the 100 games. Then you need to limit these temporary games to say 10 games so you are incentivised to play them and put them into your collection or sell them. So your collection is really 100+10 at most.

I live and was born in Australia. I spent about a year in Europe in 2022-2023. I have a European passport through my family but finding it difficult to find a job that will pay enough to live. I have tried to learn a language but I am not good enough to get a decent job yet. Oh well, that is life I suppose! I am super interested in the Rome total war game. Haven't backed it, but it was one of my favorite games growing up :) Regarding having buffer of games outside of 100 can be tricky. Personally i find limitations of 100 games super interesting and neat. Having more games kinda defeats your purpose of 100 games challenge. Its always going to be a moving thing, but having more games then 100 would kinda defeat whole challenge. Though it was me, i would have buffer just because of the reasons you mentioned :D

In commenting just to say I really love the passion you put in the same games i love (like starcraft!).
Like a month a ago you told me about Heroes 3 board game and how you "dislike" it. At the end i take the All-in (with all expansions from this last week KS), i will just sell if its not what i expect to be... but nostalgia... is nostalgia my friend. Just to mention I really take in consideration everything you said (in fact I openned a full thread in BGG just commenting what you told me).
Continue this way with the channel, not beeing sold by "I-give-you-a-free-copy-of-my-game-and-you-give-me-a-good-review".
I wish we could try that company of Heroes sometime, its one of my tops game to try. Maybe in another life!

I totally get taking the All-In for HoMM3, it makes sense and even if someone would have told me what I already know, I would have taken it anyway.. because sometimes you just need to check things on your own. I'm glad you're doing it because I'm the same as you, and if we weren't like this, we would have ended only with games that are ranked super high on BGG because that's what the majority likes. So.. keep on this road my friend :)
If there is one thing I can promise you, is that I will NEVER do a review for a game I have received for free. NEVER EVER. I will only review games that I bought myself.
I'd love to play Company of Heroes, and we should not wait for another life. I believe that everything is possible just depends on when and where. Lets keep each other updated when we travel, yes? ;)

We are country neighbours, im spanish (Madrid). So if it happens that you have to come here anytime, you can count with a Starcraft Brood War with a beer, so dont hesitate to mention it.
Starcraft is in my top 3. Actually i discovered your channel looking for a gameplay of it, and then the expansion magically got to me which (in my opinion) hugely improve the base game mechanics.

I was looking into it for a faster 4x game... Where eventually I landed on March if the Ants instead, which is really a faster one. I was concerned proxima would have been too long anyway, despite being shorter than other heavy 4Xs

Glad to see you found a copy of defence of procyon III. Still haven't tried my copy but it looks awesome. Kind of the back-up buy I made when I couldn't find starcraft the board game. It looks like a starcraft mission from the original game. I just don't know how to even beginning to learn it and then teach it to my group xD. Let me know if you have any tip when you master it
edit : I think it is fair to have a ''content creator'' shelf and eventually games can go into the ''permanent'' collection. The only challenge is to stop the ''content creator'' shelf to get out of control and take over the house.

2012 I bought Duels of the Planeswalkers on the Xbox Arcade and it came with a free "Grave Titan" promo card.
Went to the nearest game shop in the mall that participated to get my free card and I saw the Starcraft board game with the expansion that my mom said would be my birthday present.
I said no because I wanted something else instead and I don't even remember what it was lol.
Now that I'm into board gaming more seriously I always regret that day since the game is so hard to come by now 🤣

I find it totaly cool to put all the new, unplayed games to an inbox pile and only when you've played them they go to your 100 games no more no less collection.
But think of limiting the inbox, otherwise you'll have 200 games (and more) ;-)

@@ezbgames actually I like and own many Euro games. In the end a lot of 4X games are euro games in the core, or at least with euro mechanism. In Voidfall I dislike the core - having several cards on hand, with three actions, single actions could be on two different cards, you choosing which card to play, which actions , etc. It is just too much, and I don't have good feeling afterward. I love simple action-selection. Like in Eclipse or CW.

I would say 4X games. It's my absolute top pick
You should only have a game enter your collection once you play it and if you find out that you like it. I would not consider a game I bought but not yet played to have entered my collection. Then, like you said, you run the risk of getting rid of something you like more and the game entering your collection is a dud. For me, once I play a game and decide I want to keep, I then do my analysis of the collection to see what gets removed.

But seriously, the 100 mark is a good point of orientation but shouldn't be carved in stone. That doesn't mean a green flag to go up to 200, but if there is a seasonal bloat so be it. As long you even it out later on. This is much easier to do when you play daily than just once a week or so.
I massively culled a couple months ago, just to find myself with more than before atm, due to a massive fulfillment wave.

I backed Rome, I fear it's not really a good game, but I was okay with that when I backed it, because it definitely has potential and I loved the PC Game. I think everything comes down on how good the game flow is, because they carried a lot of complexity from the PC game over to the board game adaptation and because of this there is always the risk that it is too much of a slow burner for my taste. But I hope for the best.

Unfortunately, the rulebook(s) are not so clear. I'm already on my way of learning the game but it's pretty harsh. Especially the combat.
And when and rulebook is not clear- the game feels a bit stuck.
I'll try to produce a video of a playthrough as quickly as possible, but this is a tough mission :/
@@ezbgames you definitely should, because you are one of the few who has the chance to do that at the moment... no but seriously I would be happy if you can do that.
The developer has a few videos out at the moment, but the pacing was ultra slow and sadly they were a bit confused by the rules themselves (at least in the first showcase of that game, but maybe the guy who presented the game was just not so well prepared).
So a preview/review or some thoughts on that game would be very welcome for a lot of people who backed that game.
I'll do my best as quickly as possible. I was counting a bit on these videos to give me a kickstart, but if you're saying there might be rule confusion over there, I'm alone in the battlefield 🤣

I agree with you when it comes to FFG, but some games are still here.
About a year ago I did a video about my top picks for such adaptations.
I think that games like Frostpunk, This War of Mine, Comoany of Heroes and Darkest Dungeon are very good!

Total War??? Haha. There is an old game called Ikusa, its actually a newer Version of an even older game called Shogun (and some other Name too)
Anyway this Shogun/Ikusa was the Inspiration for the very first Total War PC game Shogun

A friend of mine has it. We stopped playing it when we found Runewars some 10y ago.

It can be really horrible being on the other side of an upleveled Shogun. I remeber they can move 3 but not 1 or something. And it is a great game to be a betrayer and end friendship haha...
Anyway as I also played some TW, especially Medivial 2, I later found out that those games are connected.
I mean it was just the Inspiration for Total war.
