I have an angle grinder from WICKES which is not working. On inspection found a small brass or copper coloured spring around the base of each brush fitting but one was damaged and snapped. Can these be replaced and if so HOW? HELP!!!

if you have same problem just let the machine run for like 1 or 2 minutes or longer it will fix itself mine got fixed like that
Hello po sur baka pwede ko po paayos ang armature ng table saw ko po. Ng spark dn po sya gya nyan tas umuusok. Sabi ng technician dto need daw palitan armature pero wala po ako mahanap. Sana matulingan nyo po ako.
Sir pano po kaya ako makakapag order ng armature ng bosch wla na po ung label ng serial number nya
What if angle griender heat too much? Because my angle griender over heats within 5mins when i use it?It's difficult to hold it heats that much...... whats the problem please guide me
May en due to field coil short circuit .apply varnish on field coil and armature coil as seen in this video.
you have to clean the air vent of Grinder
Stop using it because danger of fire. Open and clean everything inside with air compressor best or dry paint brush ok.
Must have lot of dust inside. Metal dust heats up.
As said above, make sure air vent are cleared up.
If still heating up, could be a short circuit somewhere. Check all wiring for damage.
It could also be due to excessive friction of motor core caused by wear of rotational elements (bearings or arrow/ shaft).

Yeah. You are right. The commutator sometimes it will disconnected because the carbon brush is too short
problem in the coil

Sir baka may video dn kayo kung pano mgtest ng short circuit sa armature at kung ano gagawin.
Just check it's resistance, it should be nearly the same everywhere - if it's too high it's burned, but it it's too low it's a short cirw
