Are you ready to transform your Thor Vegas RV into the ultimate adventure machine? Join us in this video as we take you through the incredible upgrades we've made to this Thor Vegas, including some exclusive enhancements you've never seen before!
If you're a proud owner of a brand-new Thor Vegas, you probably can't wait to hit the road and explore those dream destinations you've always wanted to visit. But there's a small hitch - these RVs tend to sit lower than you might expect. Don't worry; we've got you covered!
Let's dive into the off-grid package, starting with the front suspension. We've installed a high spring rate coil spring to minimize body roll, ensuring a smoother ride. Plus, we've equipped it with a 2.0 Fox shock that controls compression and rebound, absorbing all those pesky bumps and road dips. Comfort and performance - check!
But that's not all. Our extended radius arm, nine inches longer than the stock version, comes with a new radius arm bracket. This modification allows you to run larger tires without clearance issues. Say goodbye to unnecessary gimmicks - we've got the suspension root issues covered.
Want more stability? We offer a steering stabilizer for the front too. Now, let's talk about the rear. Most RVs come overloaded with springs, causing them to sit too low. We've designed custom leaf springs tailored to your coach's weight and desired height, reducing sway and enhancing weight-carrying capacity. No airbags or Sumo Springs needed here!
To ensure a smooth ride, we've added a set of 2.0 Fox gas-pressured shocks with increased oil capacity, preventing shock fade. Big benefits, compact package!
Now, onto the exciting part - Wheels, Tires, Front and Rear Bumpers! We've upgraded to a set of 235 85 16 tires, and no worries, they won't rub with the dually setup. Plus, we've powder-coated the hubcaps for a sleek look. Need to inflate or deflate your tires easily? We've got you covered with tire inflators.
Front-end protection is crucial, so we've designed a unique front bumper with a winch mount coming soon. Make your Thor Vegas stand out!
Heading to the back, we've added a rear bumper complete with all your camping essentials. A folding table mount and table are included, along with a box and box mounts that swing out 90 and 180 degrees for extra storage space. Everything works seamlessly with your stock trailer hitch.

What a transformation! That front bumper looks clean 👍🏻
Thanks! We agree =)
i cant wait to see one of these with the winch in it!
I love our Baja Grocery getter, went to Ouray Colorado last week and the ride is so nice now. If I bought an rv new today I would bring it to you for the suspension upgrade. They should come from the factory like this.
We're glad you love the Baja Grocery Getter Kit and how it makes your ride a lot smoother!
That's basically the same front suspension I put on my 1990 F150 prerunner I ran with 35" BFG KO2's. I'd love to see the Vegas on some dirt roads.
this guy get it!
Would love these upgrades!
Feel free to give us a phone call and speak with one of our sales reps! 619-596-9831
100% agree with the upgraded leaf springs rather than adding the bandaid of an airbag.
Great choice! The difference is night and day.
Oops. I just bought airbags for my F53 based Pace Arrow a couple months ago. Great upgrade. Maybe I should have gotten some better leaf springs instead.
Ok, you seriously have my attention!✌️
Estimate on parts and install!?👍
Love this!
All i can say is, AWESOME!
Thanks! We love upgrading these RVs and taking them to a new level!
How much for the full package, 2021 24.1
What is the approximative weight of such lift on vegas and on thor compass. Do you install auto levelling jack as well compatible with these kit?
Super dope! What's a rough idea on cost for this setup?
Agreed wow. The summo and bilstien new shocks do help 25% better ride. BUT as you suggest - I looking to upgrade to 3" lift and larger tire/wheels What the largest tire you would advise w/ a 3" lift kit?
Currently we offer a 2" , 4" , and 6" actually. Feel free to give us a call and we can give you some guidance. Ask for Aaron or Patrick! 619 596 9831
Awesome transformations! I'm currently driving a 2017 32ft Thor Chateau. I'm leaning heavily on going to your 6" lift kit but it's not in the budget this year. I need new tires now and my question is more in reference to your video of the 6" vs 4" lift kits and the addition of the
BFG KO2 235/85/16 tires. My current tires are Michelin 225/75/16. I have about 1" of space between the rear duallys. Do you think It's possible to put the larger tires on now and have adequate space between the duallys and also adequate clearance both front and rear before installing a lift kit later? I live in Florida so a trip out to Cali isn't likely. I'm going to either have to install the lift kit myself or take it to a recommended shop closer to home. Can you give me some guidance?
I think we need a WTDU video on shocks..... who else agres?
I may have missed your section of considering larger tires. Wonderful idea with the 6" lift kit you sell. However, were the Rear and Front "rims" left stock or were new wider rims required? Thank you for such a great video and product you sell.
The customer retained their stock rims, but went with out Black Out Hubcap option.
@@WeldtecDesigns: I have planned in the future to obtain a Lift Kit from WeldTec Designs. Having said that, I have seen all of your RUclips videos and will be adding onto a new Thor Vegas unit in the future. However, should the 6" lift kit be considered with the primary emphasis of the owner to do mostly "off-road" - use. I ask, because even though I will swap out to new "taller" tires, will there be any disadvantages except the gap of the rear well might not look all that great?
Also, Looks to me the Vegas needs larger tirs /wheels and loose the hub caps. What tires/rims are you using in the video?
These are the tires:

The wheels are stock, just blacked out!
I ve got a 23’ c class thats badly in need of an upgraded suspension package . 🤔maybe I ll get a nice gift from santa this year
You better work on getting on the nice list...... "It would be the gift that just keeps on giving!" Hey Clark......
@@jeremysworld10 heheheheheh
How much weight can the box on rear bumper hold?
It really depends on where you plan on mounting it. Backwoods doesn't mention weight capacity on their site, however you would obviously be able to run more weight when the box is on a solid platform or tray arm vs other setups where the box is attached to a rear door hinge mount.
Dang!!!!
what does a 2” lift run? I have a 2015 24.1 but Im on the east coast.
Follow this link for more info on our 2" "Getaway" kit: weldtecdesigns.com/product/wtd-ford-e-series-class-c-rv-2-suspension-lift-kit-getaway/
We have dealers/installers on the East Coast: weldtecdesigns.com/dealer-locator/
Navigates everything the road has to throw at it except for the roundabouts with the higher center of gravity and increased turning radius.
This will look great as garage queen, that's for sure.
Build something better if you can

We would love to give you a test drive to change you mind.
One thing this RV is not going to do is sit in the garage! I would be interested to hear about your driving expertise when it comes to RV's?
