My brain has broken types of cores like this, if anyone else finds it helpful, cool: -Rats (kites) high speed, high range, run and shoot until you win. -Cats (rushdown) high burst movement, high damage at close range, get in their face, break their stance and punish. -Dogs (statcheck) high defenses, big guns, harass at long range, vaporizes people if you can corner them at close range. hybrids: -Hawks (kite/rushdown) prefers midrange, kites in all 3 dimensions until they break ACS or find an opening to punish with a close-range weapon. If you're a fast AC with a lance, explosive thrower, or hmmr, you're probably a hawk. -Lobsters (rushdown/statcheck) prefers close range with some burst mobility and decent defense. Can shed weapons to catch rats in a pinch, likes ambush tactics. Once they get on you they don't let go. -Gorillas (kite/statcheck) mixes some aerial and burst mobility with raw offense and defense. Climb into a high position and shell down until someone makes the mistake of getting close to you. Gorilla is Takafumi's preferred playstyle, especially with hover-tanks. People also talk about "knights." -Knight: Any AC that uses both a shield and a melee or at least close-ranged weapon. Typically falls into one of the hybrid playstyles.
9:43 Mean old michigan died of a bad fall! Love the commentary and how much effort is put into these tournaments! I generally don't play PvP in games (anymore) but seeing this is making me reconsider!
Love 3v3, I used to do 1v1 ranked but build versatility is much greater in 3v3. A tip to anyone doing this, don’t focus on the guy in front of you who wants to fight, focus on the guy who is fighting one of your other teammates. You can do a lot of damage to an unaware opponent in a short period of time before their backup arrives.
Love the tournaments Striker, keep it up. You and Mobi Geeks Out really keeping the community alive. Hey Striker, I have a fun idea for a tournament which is you are allowed to bring two builds into the tournament but can only switch to them before or after a set, the match being a 2 out of 3. The twist here is that the second build is a derivative of the first or original build where only two weapons and optionally one frame part (head, arms, and legs only) can be swap out from the original. The two builds must be submitted before the tournament starts so there are no illegal swap ins. BTW, there is one thing that I think might hurt the viewership and I'm curious what you think of it. The problem I'm referring to is someone basically gaining an ap lead and running away the entire match without interacting with the opponent. I know that it is a strategy but if it is the only win condition that that builds utilizes it could create boring matches to watch. I wonder if you will implement a rule forcing them interact after a certain set of time.

Seeing this, honestly if fromsoft really focus on the balance and marketing, ac6 could be a competetive team based game.
Sadly not gonna happen at all
Nobody's gonna buy ac6 for competitive multiplayer only either
Good stuff guys, had a blast watching the tournament!!!
The earshots from Farquad is just really good. WP to teams.

I like 3v3s way more than 1v1 so this was highly entertaining for me
I am taking quite a liking to 3v3 myself
Not only did Javs and Quads destroy the Loser's bracket...but they got their revenge against the team that put them there in the first place.
Damn.
