Yes, he is Morgan Freeman. One of my most favorite Hollywood personality. From the past two to three years it was in the back of my mind to draw his portrait but I was looking for a photograph with specific light conditions and skin texture. Finally, I got such a reference and I have completed the drawing. I have used graphite and charcoal pencils. No smudging at all and no white gel for highlights. For the first time, I have largely used charcoal to shade the darker portions of the portrait. I hope you all like it.

Wow! Finally someone that draws like me. I seen no blending at all. But, this is times better than me LOL!! Im not against blending in any way, i just never really learned how to blend and I was told to stick to the way i naturally learned because it seemed very unique and different. Subscribed.

1. What is real time, how many hours?
2. Did you use blending or this is without blending??

I've just attended few online drawing courses (I'm a beginner) and this is at least sufficient to understand the complexity of your task. The fact that you don't blend makes it even more difficult. How many years/hours of practice do you need to get to this technical level? It looks amazing.
If you blend it looses it's texture feel and charm of pencil drawing . Pencil drawing must be done with only pencil and that impact is not at all possible with the blending.
