Erwin is one person i deeply respect. it doesn't matter if he's just a fictional character, i really look up to him. to me, he's real. he holds onto life somehow just to see his dream come true, but he couldn't even do that. he might seem selfish, but deep in his heart he does feel guilty about taking the lives of his comrades. he had to make a choice between his dream and saving humanity by sacrificing himself, and he chose the latter. i have never seen anyone as dedicated as this wonderful man. Erwin reminds me of me a lot. The selfishness of doing whatever it takes to get to our dreams/goal. And I wonder why don’t people understand what goal I want to achieve? Because it’s only me, I’m the only one chasing for a dream no one chases. The sacrifices I’ve made to get there. No one won’t understand because they’ve never had or chase a dream like me. So towards the end, sometimes being selfish can lead you forward but some of your friends/family will be left behind because of your dream.
I dont know how u all feel about AOT, but i feel like after this story ends I will never be satisfied in any other story, i have never been so motivated to see what happens and i might be the biggest Eren supporter, he is just awesome, I know we will see bad moments for him in future but he has taken the role of the bad guy in order to erase and remove all problems from humanity so hats down to the story and all. Hope i make sense wish a great NY Eve and a wonderful 2022 without viruses.
