In my opinion, the best ones are Rejuvenation/Insurgence and there is no competition. I would love to see a video on either of these, however with Rejuvenation 100 hours will not be enough to complete the story in its current state so you may need more
Fantastic region, storyline, and game all together. Probably my favorite rom, and DEFINITELY the hardest (Insane) which is awesome. Only complaint is that I wish there was a minimal grinding mode, or some QOL improvements for EVs/IVs and nature changes etc. Sandbox is a cool option, but the no post-game was a dealbreaker for me. Other than that, amazing game!
Just learn to breed? You get a six IV ditto that you can use to easily generate a usable Pokémon in 15 minutes. EV training takes about 10 minutes or 6 battles of spamming A using max upgrade Macho Brace. The cost for Nature Change is irrelevant and Egg Moves can be tutored for BP. The grind is already “minimized” what you’re asking for is a no-effort mode.
@@inazumatan7050 it’s not “no effort” I just prefer when games are skill focused, like team building and strategizing, which requires plenty of effort. Difference is, breeding, grinding for EVs IVs etc. is just tedious, requires no actual skill, and is unenjoyable. I enjoy when a game is difficult without being tedious. Im well aware plenty of people do actually enjoy grinding for egg moves, breeding perfect IVs, EV training, and stuff like that. Just my opinion, I don’t.
There's a sandbox mode i think for something like this. Also , for EVs at least there's the macho brace upgrade that gives so makes ev training almost effortless. But the macho brace upgrade is a bit too high. Even then the game is less competitive focus unless you play on expert or above. Difficult doesn't need ev training or perfect IVs. And the level curve with capped all exp share is very good. I never had to grind for exp at all
@@vedaryan334 I guess I’m referring to insane difficulty, I haven’t played any of the others. The macho brace and trainer house do help a bit, it’s better than nothing I guess. Sandbox mode does fix this issue but takes away post-game, so that’s a no-go for me. Grinding for exp is never an issue, by the time I get to the next gym I’ve easily hit the level cap just by progressing through the game. I’d just enjoy features like in inclement emerald where you can pay money to change your EVs at will, or emerald kaizo’s “minimal grinding mode” where every mon has perfect IVs, you can change natures at the Pokémon center, stuff like that. I like when games are focused on the skill based, competitive aspects. Don’t get me wrong, I love unbound. Just one thing I’d change, is all
21:27 Idk if it´s just a coincidence but the gym concept+the leader´s name rlly reminds me of Bejamin Button, yk? That story about a man that gets younger over time
This story is a x100 better than any of the new crap they've been releasing. The bad guys are actually evil and their ultimate plot will forever change the world if they succeed.
People say it's a bit too edgy but come on, anyone who has already played Pokémon before have also played Final Fantasy, and chances are they're familiar with FF6 Story, which is the epitome of a dark story where the villian actually wins. That being said, even with their shortcomings, Pokémon Unbound story IS miles better than that LGBTWTF+++ Crap Gamefreak seems so keen on nowadays, they are the Pixar of Videogames!
@@Kranon If anybody wants too edgy, "The first journey" takes the cake for it. Unbound has the right amount of edgy and would easily be appropriate for kids still.
My favourite Pokemon Rom hack has to be Pokemon sors because of its totally different storyline and not using the usual gym and making a competition thats truly amazing plus the region is just fantastic very expected of vytron
Lets just take a while to apprecieate zwiggo for doing this for 100 whole hours, so i know like minecraft 100 days is long and all but like its 36 hours and this man right here is doing this for 100 hours, so lets appreiciete zwiggo for playing in a game for 100 hours just for us to be entertained
Played it and finished the game last year and I must say that they gave us an option to pick strong starters and having to fight legendaries that are high level and defeating them to progress in the story is insane
My favorite romhack so far is pokemon nameless, the story is masterpiece, and open world in new region, don't worry about hm it has a unique system called character skill like swim(surf), dagger(cut), campfire( pokemon center but you can use it anywhere and anytime), etc
I would love to see a part 2, and I'm pretty sure the easiest way to get shinies would be to breed using the masuda method. In order to do that, you have to complete this mission given to you by someone from the breeders school. You have to hatch 100 eggs I'm pretty sure and the reward is a ditto that has a different original trainer.
Outside of gift Pokémon, the easiest way to catch your own shiny is to get a perfect game of Safari Zone and the 30th Pokémon will be a guaranteed shiny. The Ditto is a reward for 50 eggs hatched and is also 6IV for breeding.
I want to see 100 hours in both Pokémon Insurgence and Xenoverse. They are both long games with pretty long post games as well, but I just mainly want to see you play these games in general!
Great video! I need to play this hack now. I would love it if you did this challenge with Pokemon Insurgence. But that would probably require at least 150 hours. It has even more content than Unbound.
I can say that it is more than possible to complete the dex by like 80 hours. I did a POC for this game recently and ended at about 72 hours. I also used a lot of time and date changing but i recommend not doing date changing since that messes with things if you change the date back until the day you had it at.
The OG, Pidgeot. Beasted the first game with it and my Charizard. To this day whenever I use Pidgeot for a playthrough, I name it Beast. Kinda reminds me of the X-Men character to for some reason.
My favourite fan game is Pokemon Empyrean featuring fan mons a entire new world on top of that a card collecting system for pokemon to hold as an extra item addition (not taking hold item spot) those cards boost base stats based on rarity being normal shiny and platinum shiny if a pokemon is a shiny or plat shiny it also gets an additional boost and giga hard enemies . it would be a great challenge :D

I had gotten to the elite four, but i quit when my emulator had to be replaced, which lost me my data, but this game is still incredibly well made, as you can do a lot of things, including mega evolution.
Just one thing I’d change, is all
No part 2 😔 why we love this game most of us can’t get it so watching you play it is fun please part 2😭
I love seeing these, so I don't have be as dedicated to do it myself lol

Idk if it´s just a coincidence but the gym concept+the leader´s name rlly reminds me of Bejamin Button, yk?
@@Kranon wtf does gay people have to do with this homophobe eeew
@@Kranon If anybody wants too edgy, "The first journey" takes the cake for it. Unbound has the right amount of edgy and would easily be appropriate for kids still.
Thanks for suggesting this Rom hack! I'm having a blast
bro zwiggo deserves more subscriber
My favourite Pokemon Rom hack has to be Pokemon sors because of its totally different storyline and not using the usual gym and making a competition thats truly amazing plus the region is just fantastic very expected of vytron
Watched this a while ago on my TV, defo worth rewatching
Pokemon uranium is an amazing rom hack with it having nearly all costum pokemon
My favorite Rom hack is definitely Pokemon Glazed. It has a very sick story
Talonflame is my favourite flying type- mostly because of ash's talonflame taking on moltres in the anime
Pokémon Prism is my favorite eventhough it isn't finished. Lavitar is the perfect starter!
Played it and finished the game last year and I must say that they gave us an option to pick strong starters and having to fight legendaries that are high level and defeating them to progress in the story is insane
Nah man you've defo got to do a part 2 it's so entertaining watching you play this
My fav rom hack is 100% insurgence. The music in it slaps, there are lots of Pokémon options, and it has a solid postgame and a fantastic story
My favorite romhack so far is pokemon nameless, the story is masterpiece, and open world in new region, don't worry about hm it has a unique system called character skill like swim(surf), dagger(cut), campfire( pokemon center but you can use it anywhere and anytime), etc
I know I’m late but for barnacle you can get him on route 2 at the beach by interacting with the first rock on the beach, without rock smash
My favorite rom hack is Pokemon glazed because this game has mage evolution , 1 to 6 gen pokemons and 3 regions Tunod,Johto,Rankor
Pokemon Xenoverse is by far my favourite Romhack, so I'd like to see you a 100hrs in that.
Man I fricken love binging this guys amazing content!!! 😂
Do 200 hrs of Pokémon insurgence with 3 challenges
1) beat the game and postgame
2) complete the Pokédex
3) beat the developers in game
We really want second part of this video which will also be of 100 hours to complete the pokedex and all
I want to see 100 hours in both Pokémon Insurgence and Xenoverse. They are both long games with pretty long post games as well, but I just mainly want to see you play these games in general!
The people who chased the first gym leader down used to be the police in the last version of the game.......
Please continue 100 hours is not enough. It took me a year to complete all the task just like yours.
I also used a lot of time and date changing but i recommend not doing date changing since that messes with things if you change the date back until the day you had it at.
oh pokemon unbound, what an incredible game, honestly. its so surprising that something this good is fanmade,
I’m particularly fond of Uranium and Insurgence as fan games. You probably already heard of them though
Hi zwiggo didn't visit you since you got 100k subs but now congrats for 200k sub
Super stoked I found your channel! Happy to be a subscriber!
The OG, Pidgeot. Beasted the first game with it and my Charizard. To this day whenever I use Pidgeot for a playthrough, I name it Beast. Kinda reminds me of the X-Men character to for some reason.
My favorite flying type and favorite Pokémon of all time is Honchkrow!!!
Fun fact: every time you reach the hall of Fame different person fight you first jax fight you then the rivel then Marlon
Ive played this ROM hack, and it is VERY fun. I had gotten to the elite four, but i quit when my emulator had to be replaced, which lost me my data, but this game is still incredibly well made, as you can do a lot of things, including mega evolution. Using mega Garchomp and mega Manectric was super fun during gym battles, and the puzzles and lore are amazing.
My favorite Rom Hack is Pokeom Alte Red
