I bought those Costco burgers you showed in the video however considering the ingredient list only saying it contains “beef” why does it say it has 3 grams of carbs on the nutrition label ?
struggled with finding the right diet, stumbled upon keto and carnivore. This grocery haul vlog resonated with me. The variety of meats showcased, from eye of round beef roast to wild coho salmon, inspired me to explore different options. The narrator's upcoming masterclass on accelerating weight loss with a carnivore diet caught my interest. Aspect Health has been part of my journey, and this video provided insights into maintaining variety and excitement in a specialized diet. Grateful for the tips and looking forward to their future plans. Wishing the couple and their audience happy holidays!
Love you guys, Richmond B.C is where I watch you from and I find you guys so delightful and inspiring. Happy New Year, looking forward to everything you bring us this year.
Hi! Get Red Boat Fish Sauce and Coconut Aminos to replace the flavours (not 100% but it’s the closest). As for the noodles, you can go slowly by cutting them out and replacing with more meat or vegetables, and continue to replace over time with more meat. Or you could go cold turkey but that’s much harder (willpower required!)
At my Costco they have so many beef patties. I tend to choose grass fed and sometimes waygu for more fat. On all the Carnivore channels I watch no one ever picks the Grass fed burgers. I wonder if they carry them at all Costco's. They aren't expensive but similar in price to the regular angus beef patties. Those shrimp look awesome though. I'm going on my first carnivore shopping trip tomorrow so will be looking for them and the eye of round as well.
I don't know if you have tried Picanha. The Costco in Abbotsford has it for 16.99 kg/7.70 lb. It is called top cap sirloin. My husband, who is not fond of steak loves it. We eat it with shrimp, salmon or tuna steaks. Happy new year.
Looking forward to the lemongrass tandoori chicken you'll be making, Alice; also those Argentinian shrimp are delicious, I find them almost "sweet" tasting. Whenever they are on sale, I pick them up for the freezer. Wishing you all the best for the remainder of the holidays and a very happy 2024.
I'm Lion, and the beef patties look interesting; I do not know if my Costco carries them. I find trying keto will result in digestive issues, but Lion has completely eliminated digestive issues, and I have gotten used to the higher fat content. I have been tracking my nutrients, and I'm currently at 68% Fat and 32% Protein. I generally shop locally at Save on Foods on Tuesdays after 3:00 when they have marked down meats which is the time between flyers.
@@AliceCeeCPA I'm just south of Calgary, about 15 minutes. Going to look to see if our local Costco has those Beef patties. We did have trout, and I often buy 3kg packages of Ground Beef. The Bison is a hit-and-miss as it is not a big seller at my Costco. When my wife visits from Vietnam, we could be out your way. She wants to see the West Coast.
Hahah I’m not the best at “bread” style recipes but will have to keep trying in 2024 I guess, a carnivore casserole is a great idea though! Thanks for commenting!
I dehydrate very lean bacon🥓it is awesome. And just last week…I discovered… ROULADEN also called Beef Inside Round …already sliced the perfect thickness for jerky… only about $12.00/lb it was perfection. 160F for 3 hours.
I love Costco but the closest one is 1.5 hours away. Sams club is closer for regular trips. Looking forward to the turkey burger recipe. My adult son is carnivore trying to drop weight before joining the Air Force.
I always get the burgers and eggs at costco. I like the frozen mahi mahi too. Havent seen the bison at the kingston ontario costco but i will check it next time
Nobel Bison is a distributer from Alberta which represents a number of Bison farms. I actually contacted them a few months ago because my Costco Meat Manager told me they would be discontinuing the supply, the support person at Nobel gave me alternatives because they do not only offer ground Bison but other cuts as well, and they helped to rebuild supplies in my Costco.
Do you know why the Costco burgers say it has 3 grams of carbs?. I bought these but I’m not sure why it says it contains 3 grams of carbs considering the only ingredient is beef.
I would like to see more recipes in the slow cooker since I don't have an air fryer and am not keen to get one at this time. Also, have you made jerky yet on the channel? Do you have a dehydrator?
Look for second hand air fryers…in 🇨🇦🇨🇦kijiji …I recently saw my $500 Cuisinart air fryer for sale in kijiji for only $40.00 in excellent like new condition! You will not be sorry‼Air fryers are amazing‼You do not have to pay a fortune for some appliances….my $300.00 Instant Pot was brand new…still in the box and only $40.00‼A bargain‼🙂 Gladys🇨🇦Toronto🇨🇦
Is there a reason you are buying skinless chicken thighs? They are more expensive here in Tx. Most times I just take the skins off & save them. Then when I have enough I make crispy skins & turn them into nachos. Waste not want not 👵🏻
It's because it was for the recipe. Usually we eat bone-in skin on :). We were in Texas recently and had a blast! Turning them into crispy skins sounds like a great idea ;)
Looks great! Thank you and Happy Holidays! I was just thinking while watching your video how most meat that is hunted is lean and how we focus on fatty meat on the carnivore diet. I wonder if that's just because we don't work with the fat as strategically as our ancestors did...hmmm... I wonder. I was vegan 25 years and vegetarian a total of 32 years... it was funny because one of the first kinds of meat I liked was Round steak. I asked the butcher why someone might like that when I had read it was one of the "worst" cuts. He said it has a beefier flavor. I bet your eye of round will be terrific. I'm still new to it all but still find I like all the beef (so far I've bought a quarter and then half Dexter cows). I love lamb. I raised my own pigs so the pork was healthy (they ate organic corn/soy-free grain, plus grocery store produce scraps and pasture grass and grubs). I'm not really into chicken although I raised 300 of them for meat and 350 for eggs this year. Looking forward to trying goose meat next year. And I have a turkey waiting in the freezer that I raised (I had surgery at Thanksgiving). Anyhow I've gotten off topic but learning about meat is still fascinating to me. I've been crazy into salmon lately...that's a favorite. I'd like to try those shrimp you got. I really like Cioppino and maybe that will be one of my next adventures. I wish you had Trader Joes in Canada. They have great prices on Wild salmon. Better than Costco. And nice canned salmon, too. Good luck to you with all your classes and channel! I learned about you from Ketogenic Woman's channel :)
Hi Sarah! Thanks for sharing your experience with carnivore! That’s awesome that you have access to clean pork! We have had goose meat a few times while travelling. Do stay tuned for more videos and thanks for the support!
I am looking forward to lemongrass chicken. I make Anita's turkey feta burgers once in awhile and sometimes mix the feta into ground beef if it's a real lean one.
Subscribed! You guys are easy to watch
Among all the Carnivore gurus you guys are the most pleasent. Aside from being knowledgeable and practical, you are a pleasure to watch.
Aw, thank you so much! How has your Carnivore journey been so far?
I’m so glad I found you guys. You guys are the most normal, realistic, and relatable carnivores. Thank you. New sub here

Off topic - what expresso machine do you have and how are you using it - if??
It’s the breville barista express - it’s awesome?
Love you guys and Alice’s bone broth is the only one that gels for me…keep the recipes coming…Happy New Year

I really love the costco pork belly too. I dont know if my body is craving fat. Maybe
It could be!
unpopular opinion: Shrimp is overrated, it tastes like bad dirt fish.

If I recall the correctly the Costo portion was under $200 CAD
