I have a trouble with an update of the Jlab Epic Air ANC with the app, the app show me that there is an update but I can't press "go" to start the update, could you help me with that?
Mine won't turn on (brand new, fully charged case) Looks like lots of other people are having the same problem. I contacted jlab support but not sure what can be done.
@@TheRotKing yes actually. So the headphones can sometimes come with a strange coating over the charging contacts. Try scrubbing the charging points with rubbing alcohol. That worked for me.. still I would say that these headphones are terrible. I think I still have a review up on my page of your interested. I'd return them if you still can.
On my second pair of these cause I assumed I just had one dud the first time but both have not worked at all. Case says they are charged, I've tried holding them on the sensor multiple times. No lights, nothing. I've tried the quick tap reset recommended all over online. Nothing, seem just like a waste of money.
Same and I had a set replaced for the problem. New pair out of the box, unresponsive to pairing or any touch commands. Very disappointing for their $100 earbuds. @jllabs what gives?
On trying to reset earbuds when one doesn't work I septuple(7x) tapped each earbud until they blinked blue 4x(and they don't stay solid blue, even in your demonstration.) Then left then outside the case, waiting for one to blink blue and white. They both just sat on white, non blinking until they eventually turned off from being idle I consider myself pretty tech inclined, and it took me 3 hours to get both sides working as one unit out of the box brand new. ALL the people seeking help for these earbuds online have all the same problems. You have good hardware, why are they near impossible to get working? (Also, after I got them working, after less than a week my right earbud disconnected from the left and it's been over a week, probably spent 10 hours trying to get them working and still can't get them back paired together as one unit. And using one ear bud is pointless because the app refuses to recognize them at all unless both are paired as one unit, so most of the commands cannot be used, specifically volume up, which is critical because the volume is in a stupidly quiet setting and can't be raised even if the right ear bud is the one being used. Are they this convoluted on purpose? Why are they like this? If your mission is to get people to buy multiple pairs, thinking theirs doesn't work because one is defective, then you have evil practices. If not, you have incompetent practices. I want to say fix your products but I just don't trust you to do that. If anyone is looking to buy these, don't unless you really hate the person you're getting them for, then they're perfect.
I just got mine!!!! So, so excited to try these out... I've been wanting the executives for a few years, but was not excited about using only the right side when in mono mode. I wanted to have the ability to use either one, so these fits the bill perfectly. It did take like 4 hours for them to charge, but after that, boom!!!
Useful video. The language in the quickstart guide included with the earbuds does not clearly specify that the charging must be done on a 5V/1A adapter. The sentence is vague and lets one believe we can just charge them by plugging them into a computer. Thanks for mentioning « It is CRUCIAL to use a 5V adapter » in the video, this will probably do the trick.
For anyone with struggling with charging issues or only one of them working, try using a dab of isopropyl alcohol on a Qtip to clean where the charging connection is. Mine said it was fully charged even though it was clearly dead. Fixed it in seconds
Just bought a pair today and I cannot get them to turn on at all; the earbuds themselves are fully charged so I have no idea what the problem is. I've tried checking the troubleshooting instructions and there doesn't seem to a solution for this issue
Will there ever be an update to improve the noise cancelling on these headphones? The be aware mode works really well. I just wish the noise cancelling mode did a better job and figured it was something that could be fixed in the software.
I bought a used pair of these and while I can connect to my iPhone I cannot connect to my PC. When I go to Bluetooth and "Add a Device" I can find it but when I click it says: "Press Connect if the PIN on Epic Air Sport ANC matches this one." ---- and then there is a 6 digit number. I don't know where I would find this number. I downloaded the app on my phone and it doesn't seem to connect through that either. I have done a restart on my PC and turned Bluetooth on and off. I turned off Bluetooth on my phone. I have also tried to do a manual reset as per the manual. (7 taps on each earbud) and that didn't work. I'm hoping you can help!! Thanks in advance.
Both these and return it twice because it's defective. I am yet to receive one where the right ear will power on. Trouble shooting did nothing to mine.

In the end, I went back (again!) and asked the clerk at the customerservice desk to give me a new set, but to open them and test them before giving them to me. We went through 3 other sets, before finally finding a pair that worked on both sides..
Just purchased these 2 hours ago. The left one won't turn on right out of the box, and they won't charge in the case plugged into the correct USB as described here and in the instructions. Shouldn't be that difficult.
I am having problems with the app qnd with the ear buds. It takes me two hours to pair them after having to restart them. Minus all the videos I had to watch... in the end of the day I still can't get both of them to play music at the same time.. I am taking the back...
Really starting to feel upset with Jlab. I was told they make quality buds. My first set the left bud would lose connection all the time and required putting both back in the case to rest. The second set the left bud wouldn't ever respond at all so i requested a replacement pair only for both to be none responsive. I've followed the instructions manual to the letter to paur and to manually pair. I've watched the instruction videos like this as well and nothing has worked. 3 for 3 Jlabs has failed to hold up to a good products and at $83 after taxes I'm about ready to just refund and go elsewhere. The last thing to try is letting them charge and see if that fixes the problem but the second set charged over night for 6 hours and still the left bud was unresponsive. I'm hoping it is just a charging issue and maybe the left bud was not getting a good connection even seeing as the buds fit in in a very specific design. Maybe they will actually pull through even though making sure they are 100% charged first was not anywhere in the instructions.
I'm having an issue with the app. The earbuds are almost fully charged but the percentages on the app remain in zero and when I try to choose an option is says Please connect device in settings. It is connected because I am using them at the gym. I can't get the JLab air anc app. My only options are JLab Sound or JLab store and burn tool. I use JLab Sound. I have an iPhone XR

I am so frustrated. Got these and worked great for a couple of days. Now, the left one has no sound nor does it respond to touch/taps. I've unpaired and paired a dozen times, I get all the right light sequences outlined in the video at around1:30 minutes, but every time, the left ear bud is dead.

My earbuds do not come on once I take them out the charging case no matter how many times I charge the buds AND the case. I have had them for a month now and still haven't experienced them.
Once the eq is properly adjusted, it actually sounds good, but i think that for people who do not know how to properly change the eq, or do not feel like searching for the best settings. It is a BIG disadvantage and is not worth purchasing. The eq and the sound quality can be good for the air anc, but many people cannot properly adjust the sound to get good comprehensive quality, or do not know how to. Also, the original eq settings are REALLY BAD!

The sound quality needs to be better overall, even with the app; it is either way too low, or way too high, with overpowering bass or overpower treble.
I just bought a brand new pair of these. They were completely dead out of the box. Charging case completely dead as well. I charged. They won’t even turn on much less pair. Any help appreciated. I’m a journalist, by the way. 👁

You can change that in the settings of the app. I use double tap on the left earbud to repeat / play previous song and the assistant is a triple tap on the right earbud. The fact that you can customize most of the controls, the EQ, the ANC and Be-Aware modes, and the autoplay/pause when removing the earbuds is great!
THERE ARE NO BUTTONS ONLY LOGOS, WHEN I PRESS THEM THEY DO NOTHING. And I bought them through Zebit which does NOT offer refunds,now I'm stuck with $126 earplugs. EDIT: After much frustrating effort, hot them to work, but won't be buying again. Soundcore X10 next time.
Don't buy this brand. 2nd pair arrived non-functioning. Very disappointing performance from a company that bills themselves as high quality. Getting the runaround for a full refund. How am I not surprised.
Im not dissing the company because i had the older ones that are more round shaped and loved them but these are a complete piece of shit..... ive had mine for around 3 months and have had nothing but problems with them. The noise canceling is terrible compared to the other ones they pause by them selfs the second you go outside unless you turn off the “pause when removing a headphone” on the app. They sometimes don’t charge which really pisses me off, and they just started doing this shit where they each of the 3 lights turn on 1 by 1 in white then they all light up blue and i cant charge either the case or the headphones. I loved the last product but these are 100% garbage
PURE JUNK.....I've had OVER 7-8 pairs to even get ONE single pair where BOTH ANC and Ambient mode even works. Much less touch controls that work ALL THE TIME.
I’ve wasted money on these horrible earbuds. 48 hours I’ve had 2 pairs. First pair only one ear bud would take a charge. Now second pair won’t power on at all even after being on charger for 4 hours. Don’t waste your money!!!!! Oh wait. Let’s update this. Now one is powered on but the left isn’t. Y’all should be ashamed of this product.

Try using a charger that is 5V 1A! If you use one that's more the earbuds most likely won't accept the charge!

Charging cable MUST be Type -C , until now I could charged it. Still have to find a charger port for it.

I just bought a brand new pair of these. They were completely dead out of the box. Charging case completely dead as well.

@@JLabAudio My bad, turns out that I got the Air executive instead of the ANC, but where I bought them didn’t specify the model difference and since the design is similar I got confused :/

No option to repeat a song. That’s a no go for me.
You can change that in the settings of the app. I use double tap on the left earbud to repeat / play previous song and the assistant is a triple tap on the right earbud.
The fact that you can customize most of the controls, the EQ, the ANC and Be-Aware modes, and the autoplay/pause when removing the earbuds is great!
Oh, and you don't need to have the app open all the time. Once you set everything, you can close the app and the earbuds will keep their settings.
Yeah I need my money back. This is ridiculous smh. A lot of people will be disappointed this Christmas
THERE ARE NO BUTTONS ONLY LOGOS, WHEN I PRESS THEM THEY DO NOTHING. And I bought them through Zebit which does NOT offer refunds,now I'm stuck with $126 earplugs. EDIT: After much frustrating effort, hot them to work, but won't be buying again. Soundcore X10 next time.

Worst headphones DOA
Just bought these today , they won't even turn on . I should have bought some beats and spent a couple more dollars .. don't buy this product !
Don't buy this brand. 2nd pair arrived non-functioning. Very disappointing performance from a company that bills themselves as high quality. Getting the runaround for a full refund. How am I not surprised.
Im not dissing the company because i had the older ones that are more round shaped and loved them but these are a complete piece of shit..... ive had mine for around 3 months and have had nothing but problems with them. The noise canceling is terrible compared to the other ones they pause by them selfs the second you go outside unless you turn off the “pause when removing a headphone” on the app. They sometimes don’t charge which really pisses me off, and they just started doing this shit where they each of the 3 lights turn on 1 by 1 in white then they all light up blue and i cant charge either the case or the headphones. I loved the last product but these are 100% garbage
These things are absolute pieces of dog shit. Won’t turn on or link to Bluetooth right out of the box. Returning !
These things are garbage. I just bought this from Amazon. Charged up but DOESN'T WORK on my PC Windows 11 Pro nor my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
PURE JUNK.....I've had OVER 7-8 pairs to even get ONE single pair where BOTH ANC and Ambient mode even works. Much less touch controls that work ALL THE TIME.
I’ve wasted money on these horrible earbuds. 48 hours I’ve had 2 pairs. First pair only one ear bud would take a charge. Now second pair won’t power on at all even after being on charger for 4 hours. Don’t waste your money!!!!! Oh wait. Let’s update this. Now one is powered on but the left isn’t. Y’all should be ashamed of this product.
