It still doesn't make sense to me why Bo Katan would refuse the darksaber from Din when she literally got it given to her by Sabine Wren. Maybe after the destruction of Mandalore she started to believe that the curse about the darksaber is real? If Din is assassinated while Grogu is “grown” is there any doubt he would seek retribution?
Technically, didn't Obi wan disarm pre Visla when he and Dutchess sateen were investigating death watch in the clone wars episode? And beings you dont have to kill the "owner" of the dark saber but simply beat/disarm them? Just like how sidious didn't kill maul? To me, that means that the dark saber never really "served" anyone because it was technically Obi Wans and no one defeated him until vader (kinda lol). I could be wrong but it seems like that makes sense.
Kanan Jarrus didn’t discover the dark saber on dathomir. Sabine discovered it, she picked it up, and when they got back to base she gave it to Kanan for safe keeping. Then Kanan and the other rebels wanted her to claim it to potentially rally a Mandalorian army to the rebel cause, Sabine was reluctant to claim it because she didn’t want the responsibilities that came with the Dark Saber, but eventually is convinced and wields it until she gives it to Bo Katan.
Ezra discovered it first when talking to Maul, but on their way out of the cave the dark saber was on the ground and Sabine noticed and picked it up before getting on their ship.
If you wanna wanna count Sidious then technically speaking you can count obi, when he caught visla, visla ran away after he started losing which is a lose.
I want to know after Clone Wars Season 7 how Maul gets the darksaber back.I want Grogu to get the Darksaber but I think they reintroduced Yoda’s lightsaber to canon to hint at Grogu getting it, which I know he will. There are two things I want from S3. Bo Katan to have Mauls first lightsaber, and use it to fight Din who is using the darksaber. Or for them to trade. It makes perfect sense she has it. As she would have found it when she found Ahsoka’s lightsabers. The rumors for the IG-11 Grogu Mech Suit to be true. Those are all I want.
Wait no one took it from maul but Kanen beat maul in combat on malcore. This means during the dule when Sabine beats kanen she may technically owns the saber meaning she would have been the rightful ruler before giving it to boktan Also sorry for misspelling I’m running of little sleep and am to lazy to fix it.
Grogu with the Darksaber while hilarious, would also be right. I'd imagine modifications would have to be made for him to use it but it would be a nice end to the Mandalorian series
I’m wondering if Din will lose it to a and guy and Boba Fett will win it back by defeating said bad guy. I feel like they’ve been setting him up to lead and with him riding the Rancor it may be symbolic of riding a mythosaur.
I completely overlooked the fact that Darth Sidious had a rightful claim to the Darksaber after defeating Maul! I wonder how things would have turned out if Sidious decided to use it 🤔
OMG I hope Grogu gets the Darksaber now after BOBF. He'd be able to use it to reconcile his heritage. He is both Mandalorian AND Jedi! She he uses a weapon that is both. Also, it's a short bladed saber, like Yoda's is, so it's the perfect size for Grogu. It all adds up nicely!
Just to make Book Of Boba a little more structured.. Watch Episode 5 first after watching Mando season 1 and 2 cause it works so much better. So episode 5 then 1, 2, 3, 4 then 6 and 7. Just ignore the "previously on" it doesn't just interrupt the series then. The ending of episode 5 can still work, as boba would be looking for support anyway. More coherent story then In my opinion
Love you Theory, with Grogu choosing mando over Luke do you still think we’ll see more of the Luke we love in the upcoming shows like Asoka or even mando season 3?
If the last wielder of the Darksaber should be a Mandalorian Jedi like Tarre Vizsla, then I feel like the son or daughter of Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren would be the best choice (if they ever get together). The heir of a Jedi and a Mandalorian.
If Grogu would wield the Darksaber he’ll have to fight Din Djarin then. And he now can’t go back to Luke for training, so he’ll have to train himself how to use it, or find Ahsoka.
Wait.. If Grevious was with Sidious when he won against Maul that second time, why did Grevious not take the darksaber? Would it not be his crown jewel of all the nice additions in his collection?
It is grogu. You left him out. The Rancor defeated Mando, then Gorgu defeated the Rancor. hence, Gorgu is owner of the darksaber and leader of Mandalore.

I am guessing that Din Djaren will have a battle over the Darksaber with Bo Katan and he will win and Din will unite what’s left of the Mandelorian people with Grogu by his side and this could be a large part of Mandelorian Season 3 and maybe we will see Mandelore recover and go on planetary conquest again. Or I could be completely wrong but it would be cool to see in my opinion
the title Mandalorian refers to Grogu, not Din
grogu is the Mandalorian
Wow! Fantasting video! Thank you for sharing!
So Grogu could rules Mandalore for centuries.
If Din’s death turn him to the dark side, a new Mandalorian Empire could rise
Sequel Reboot with Grogu doing that as the Villian? Uh yeah I’d love that!
I'd rather see the little guy stay good and rebuild both the Jedi and Mandalorian orders
@@buck342443 yeah but let’s be honest anything that replaces the sequels would be nice, knew story would be good, but I WOULD prefer him a Hero/Protagonist! 😁
@@timechanger6679 Grogu can live for so long that they could set the sequel to sequel and still have a young Grogu
What about a slow descent into the dark side?
Not only Din, but all who Grogu grow close to will die before him
What if war is declared on Mandalore as Grogu is their leader?
How many death Grogu accept?
How long before he put aside his morality to “do the right thing” as leader of Mandalore?
Also we just assume that Grogu is light side, but he shown fear and anger to the point of murder attempt. If Din is assassinated while Grogu is “grown” is there any doubt he would seek retribution?
@@dac554 You need to be hired by Disney, go talk to Mickey please and GET HIRED!!! 😂
I wonder if we're gonna see a grown up Grogu in full Beskar Armor one day :D He'd have to have slots for his ears though...
That would actually look kinda stupid
@@bv657 yeah well, your opinion sucks. Maybe dont go out of your way to bring other people down.
@StarWarsTheory You’ve missed a big one out of your list but what a great video!
Grogu wielding the darksaber would be so sick xD
Maul > Obi Wan > Vader > Sidious > Death Star 2 > Lando. Lando has claim to it.
GROGU WITH THE DARKSABER IS SO CUTE AND MENACING AT THE SAME TIME AHHHH I NEED IT NOW
Technically, didn't Obi wan disarm pre Visla when he and Dutchess sateen were investigating death watch in the clone wars episode?
Kanan wasn't the one to destroy the Nightsister relic that was Ezra...he also was the one who initially found the dark saber in maul's lair
Great video!
If you wanna wanna count Sidious then technically speaking you can count obi, when he caught visla, visla ran away after he started losing which is a lose.
The hilt is much too large for Grogu even if he grew up later.
Star wars is the best and will always be :)
Wait no one took it from maul but Kanen beat maul in combat on malcore.
This means during the dule when Sabine beats kanen she may technically owns the saber meaning she would have been the rightful ruler before giving it to boktan
Also sorry for misspelling I’m running of little sleep and am to lazy to fix it.
Grogu with the Darksaber while hilarious, would also be right. I'd imagine modifications would have to be made for him to use it but it would be a nice end to the Mandalorian series
Would you make a video talking about "All" the powers of the force??
I love how the Dark Saber is the Star Wars version of the Elder Wand in the Harry Potter franchise!!
And the excalibur from king arthur, and the master sword from the legend of zelda.
I wonder how things would have turned out if Sidious decided to use it 🤔
Just as how a mandolorian became a jedi and wielded the dark saber, a jedi turned mandolorian foundling shall become the final dark saber owner
@6:35 I thought Bo Katan lost the darksaber in the Mandalorian purge and Gideon somehow recovered it from the rubble?
OMG I hope Grogu gets the Darksaber now after BOBF. He'd be able to use it to reconcile his heritage. He is both Mandalorian AND Jedi! She he uses a weapon that is both. Also, it's a short bladed saber, like Yoda's is, so it's the perfect size for Grogu. It all adds up nicely!
Would be interesting to see another person go through the curse after stealing the darksaber from Din in a future story.
"Passed through the hands of countless jedi" proceeds to count them
Just to make Book Of Boba a little more structured..
Bro. Grogu wielding the Darksaber! That would be sick!
In the late Legends era, one specific Vizla member had it before Pre Vizla - Tor Vizla.
Love this never new it had so many owners, can't wait for episode 2 of Vader ❤
Me too! I mean with like 4 to 5 years Theory should have at least been thinking of the series and how to make it better… Or not who knows!?! 🧐
7:45 Yep. That’s the big picture with Mando and Grogu’s plot line
imagine if sidious decided to keep it, and in rots, he started the fight with a darksaber
I cant imagine how they would get around Grogu not phtsically being large enough to weild the weopon
Now Dark Saber is Bo-katan's again for saving Din on Mandolore.
If the last wielder of the Darksaber should be a Mandalorian Jedi like Tarre Vizsla, then I feel like the son or daughter of Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren would be the best choice (if they ever get together). The heir of a Jedi and a Mandalorian.
My favorite saber bro thanks
If Grogu would wield the Darksaber he’ll have to fight Din Djarin then. And he now can’t go back to Luke for training, so he’ll have to train himself how to use it, or find Ahsoka.
Theory, We need more Clone Wars, Rebels, and Bad Batch content.
And kenobi, and book of Boba fett, and mandalorian, and ahsoka, and andor.
Really want Ezra or Sabine to have the dark saber
Sabine.
Wait.. If Grevious was with Sidious when he won against Maul that second time, why did Grevious not take the darksaber? Would it not be his crown jewel of all the nice additions in his collection?
That would be so cool, a lil lil yoda, the ancient mando darksaber wielding knight
Somehow I’d love to see Grogu grow up to be the next Mandalore and wield the darksaber as a mandalorian jedi
Thank you!
I really hope that when Grogu grows up he uses the Darksaber, as hes technically a Mandalorian Jedi
didnt jaster have it, then tor vizsla, then jango, and then it was found by pre vizsla? just because they didnt use it doesnt mean they didnt have it
It is grogu. You left him out. The Rancor defeated Mando, then Gorgu defeated the Rancor. hence, Gorgu is owner of the darksaber and leader of Mandalore.
😂💯
0:25 HOW IS THAT RELEVANT ?
He's explaining where on the timeline this happened. He could've just said after the events of RoTJ, but oh well.
@@0b100 I hate it when he goes into such deep details on something thats litteraly so obvious and well known instead of focusing on the video topic.
I dont even like the guy he has spoiled alot of star wars stuff to my friends who are just getting into star wars and he keeps spoiling for every new series there is
@@Chogy1 Fair enough, but why do you still watch him? There are plenty of Star Wars channels.
Lol I still like the idea of Mandalore the Green. Grogu becoming the savior of the Mandalorians. Maybe turning them into a quasi Jedi warrior order, something like a jedi militant order meant to deal with conflict while the true jedi focus on more social pursuits.
Not sure if this is right but i feel like this video is lacking some background music... Am I right in thinking that you typically use music on videos like this?
Paz Vizla also briefly owned the Darsaber in Boba ep. 5
you should make a video on how time works in the galaxy
Every owner? That's a pretty big knowledge base. Considering there is about a thousand year gap in who owned the dark saber. From the time it was stolen in the Jedi vaults until maybe Tor Vizsla...just before The Phantom Menace. Also, there have only been two wielders considered leaders of Mandalore. Tarre Vizsla and Bo-Katan Kryze. I'm not sure why so many people are hung up on it being this ancient status symbol. It isn't necessary to lead. Satine Kryze proved that. Jango Fett proved it, and Jaster Mereel proved it. And every Mandalorian between Tarre Vizsla and Bo-Katan Kryze proved it.
