Thanks. I'm looking into getting a riding mower by the end of the month. Never used one before, just straight push mower. This video made it simple to understand.
I received a new E150 today, and I could not get the unit to move forward or backward, I reread the manual and rewatched the dvd, I could not find the problem, I watched your video and all my worries disappeared, thank you. I pushed the rod back in, then I was off and running.
Can the RIO switch be locked in so you can mow in reverse continuously. I do a lot of mowing in reverse and this feature would be a pain if it has to be held in all the time.
Thanks! Finally a good instructional video for this John deer!
I'm glad it was helpful. Thank you for watching and the kind comment!
The video is very useful for those of us who don’t know much about these great machines. Thank you very much, greetings from Chile.

I have my first ever riding lawn mower so I’m pretty nervous about giving it a go. This video helps a lot. Hopefully tomorrow goes well lol

My E120 was delivered with the rod out, so mine wouldn't move either. I finally figured it out. This video would have been a big help.

@@JohnsonsSmallEngines absolutely. My step dad just gave me his old mower and it was confusing on the reverse switch and mowing and you really helped.

I'm sure someone has figured out how to but it is a safety feature that I do not tamper with.
If you don’t mind me asking what happened to your hand
I was born that way. I did not happen while working. I do ok!
