Waved when I went by the O'Fallon exit off I70 in November on the shuttle to Columbia Snow, Cold here in the Selkirk mountains of NE Washington. Hope all is well in your world. Merry Christmas
I’ve said what you just said for decades. Things look SO different when on foot vs when in a car. Vehicles have a sense to them like watching something through a screen.
I can only speak for me, but after watching you hike the PCT and then also going back to watch your AT hike, I get attached and enjoy hearing about your after hike life. It doesn’t have to be a hiking video for me. Thanks for sharing.
I can only imagine on a pct or at thru hike, the post emotions. I only did the JMT and I am still dealing with what’s next, because I am 61! I have to find another thing to look forward to and train for fast before this winter sets in and I just get more depressed. A long thru hike, maybe, but I still have to work and the clock is ticking. I enjoyed your videos and will enjoy more, no matter what you are up to or contemplating next.
I can see you running a hostle, being a trail runner or a handful of things involving hiking and you'd be great at any/all of them. Thanks for posting and keeping us along. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello Chap, I really like your updates. Have you heard from your PCT tramily; Fireball, Road Runner, Plus one, and Hammer. You guys were so inspiring. God bless and will continue to follow you!
Glad to see you on here with an update! Appreciate that so much! I’m probably going to go back and binge watch your videos from the PCT again soon! Do you know if Whitney (Fireball) also made it to the border? Glad to see you’re doing well other than some post PCT frustration. Hang in there! Hoping and praying that your feet land where your heart is. Take care!
Hey Chap, I feel like I'm in the same boat...struggling to figure out what's next after no more Lil Chap pct videos. LOL But seriously, thanks for the inspiration, I missed out on the first batch of permits for pct 2025 but hoping to snag one on the second batch. Thank God I'm 70 and don't have to worry about the future anymore. It has arrived!
Hey Chap. Canada Craig from the PCT. I spent a month in Spain in Sept/Oct walking on the Camino Frances. It's not through hiking, no camping involved, but it's still walking. I did 500 miles over 28 days and Spain is amazing. Definitely something that you could do quick and easy.
@@lilchaphikesYou will figurw it out i wonder how you all adjust to normal life after such epic experiences on the trail ,,,,have you heard from Hollywood and Fireball ,,,,Did Fireball ever finish the PCT

Ahh Post trail life is always fun... Its funny you have all that excitement planning, then the trip, and post trail life is just uprooting.. You will figure it out man!! Let me know about the November/December hike!!

It doesn’t have to be a hiking video for me. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I don’t think I’ve missed a video but I don’t remember you sharing your dream job?
Tell us about your philosophy of life! Besides the topics you are not ready to share specifics about, what are your hopes, dreams, and goals for the next several decades of life?? 😊
Sure miss you. When I'm kinda down in the dumps I watch your pct videos and remember the journey. You helped alot of folks during some dark times. Thanks and keep that positive vibe going!
A dream job that lasts 12 weeks?? You said that might be a giveaway, but it left me clueless.😂 Anyway, I'm sure you'll get everything figured out and come up with a concrete plan for the coming year.
Perhaps invest in yourself to gain some license in the medical field... that way you can relocate with ease as those professionals are always needed everywhere.. that way you can take off for months, not be tied down to one spot. If not that, just being a clerk in some mountain town may suit you better then being miserable. Best of luck...

You were close! It has been pretty cold here lately too. I’m good, just still very conflicted and trying to figure out my next move.

Yes, Fireball made it ti the monument.
Come to Europe next summer. A lot of good trails here. Tour du mont blanc, GR20, via alpina and many more
Nice to see you! Anxious to hear where you end up 😃

It would be great to bring the same inspiration as you did. I'm not so great in front of a camera, but I should work on it.

Hey Canada Craig! The Camino is on my list of trails to hike! I hope you’re doing well!
I like the idea of an international hike too! Canada has lots of amazing hiking trails. Looking forward with anticipation to see what's next. 🤗

The CDT isn’t the plan for next year. Sorry to disappoint.
PTSD. Post trail struggle dilemmas ❤️

Job. Patience. This is the opportunity to be "picky" and be selective. My experience, sometimes it takes months. Enjoy the time off.
Lil’ chap van life 😊
Trail runner?
What’s next is hiking with Moss this month
Hey there!! How are you doing? Haven't heard from you. Hope you are doing well!

Thanks for the kind words!
dark times are back, there is your motivation and direction, 4 years of darkness looking for light, bring the light
What about running an ultra marathon? Or did I miss that was gonna happen? 😂
Maybe at some point.

Maybe ski resort related ? 🤔
I’ve never even tried to ski! 😂
