When they do more digging on this we will see more of these crimes that went unreported from schools all over and kept hush hush by the schools, principles, and the school board. The fall out will be huge and many people will quit their jobs. The public backlash will be heavy from parents from all over. Demand for this to stop will ring out loud and clear.

I went to private Christian schools, until 8th grade when I started public. We were going over things that I had learned a couple years prior. Public schools are a joke and, if it hadn't been for lots of friends, football and my pretty cheerleader girlfriend, I probably would have just quit school.

I went to a big rough inner-city school and all the girls, from 6th grade through senior year never used the school bathrooms. Scary violent and dangerous things happened there. Seriously in the six years I was in that school district I was in the bathroom once, briefly. As long as these insane people are able to get away with putting our children in these situations, all parents should tell their daughters to stay out of the school bathrooms, ALWAYS. If they have an "emergency" call their parents and go home. If your a woman or have a daughter DO NOT go into a public bathroom that allows men to share that area with you, no matter if the man is wearing a suit, dress, or clown suit because it is seriously dangerous.

I use to guard the boys bathroom when my son was in k-1. I even stop the principal from going into the bathroom because there were no doors on stalls.

Don't have a "Gender Neutral"bathroom. Have "Transgender Bathroom" and girl and boy separate bathrooms. Why you ask: There are 3 kinds of students, these should have 3 kinds of bathrooms. Transgender Bathrooms, Girls bathrooms, and Boys Bathrooms. Nothing wrong with giving them their own bathrooms. That is the fair thing and the right thing to protect the kids.

School bathrooms need a permanent solution...everyone knows how awful they were, even before allowing cross-dressers to choose. My school didn't even have doors on the stalls for the guys. The vast majority of the bullying and fights were in bathrooms/locker rooms. They were dangerous. We can put some blame on modern architecture. Virtually everyone would prefer a private bathroom (like Starbucks) as opposed to using a highway rest stop style. Commercial/Institutional architecture can solve that problem. Until then, schools should always have human bathroom monitors when students are moving freely... and maybe some sort of security monitoring (maybe sound monitoring) when the students are supposed to be in class.
