Ha ha. Thanks so much. It’s hard as a small channel that makes zero $ ya know. It’s all for the love of Disney 🥰. One day I’ll hopefully start getting some monetization where I can actually afford to go make videos every week!
Thank you for this! My husband and I go in March and have been looking at the special ticketed event for MK or Epcot. After your review, I think we're going to pick MK.
@TheSingleRider Enchantment holds a special place for me. Watching from Ohana and having my daughter dancing while watching is a moment etched into memory.
@@TheSingleRider yeah it’s expensive! We walked on to every single ride including rise, rode slinky twice, and were able to walk into Ogas for a drink! You’ll love it!
Thanks for the video! Heading to Orlando on Monday for a couple weeks and I was deciding whether or not to book after hours at MK instead of a day ticket - I definitely am now!
@@TheSingleRider I went and it was fantastic! Managed to get on pretty much every ride - the event wasn’t even sold out! I think I may have made my money back on snacks and drinks alone 🤣
Hey thanks so much! It was fun to make! I’m wanting to go to Epcot and Hollywood studios after hours too but I feel like it’s the most bang for your buck at the Magic Kingdom!
It was very comfortable. You can see I have some shots where I’m simply walking around freely! Not empty but very comfortable! Best part is you don’t need to stand there holding a spot for hours on end. I literally just walked up and watched the show!! Amazing!
Heading that way in a couple of weeks....thanks for this video! Question....do you think you could've grabbed more rides? My daughter wants to arrive right at 7pm and ride as many rides as possible with a pretty fast pace😄(with maybe stopping to watch one of the fireworks shows and catching the second while on the treehouse or another ride). And FYI, watch the park closing times....when we booked this event, MK closed at 8pm. I checked yesterday, and now it closes at 10pm!😛
Awesome! To answer your question; yes! You can most definitely do a lot more rides! Pretty much everything was a walk on/minimal wait! I think mine train and Peter Pan still had a 30-40 min wait, however. It had a lower wait initially but then went down at the event I was at so I skipped it, obviously. I guess it really depends on what your priority is! I was kinda relaxed and watched the fireworks, took snack breaks, etc. The event only lasts 3 hours (10pm-1am) for these events but I still think you could get pretty close to riding everything in that time! I’ve been able to ride all rides at magic kingdom once before but that took me 4 hours so not sure it would be possible with only 3? Maybe if you got there right at 7pm and hit the ground runnin! Ha ha Let me know how it goes! I’m going to try and do another After hours video at Hollywood Studios next. Just gotta save some $ for a ticket!
Thank you for this video. We're planning our first ever after hours at the Magic Kingdom in January next year. One question, is the after hours event on the same night, or does Disney change nights. Thanks for the help. BTW, the People Mover. Is it strange that I think that's one of the top rides at the MK.
The dates that after hours is available will always be listed on the website!! Hope that helps and thanks for watching!! I went and did Hollywood studios after hours a few weeks ago. Magic kingdom is definitely the one to do!!
@@TheSingleRider Thanks, I checked the after hours dates, and they only go out to June right now. I'll wait until we get closer to our travel dates, and check again.
It does get pretty long but i don’t think you’d need to worry too much and arrive that early. The line moves pretty fast once it starts and they usually start letting people in before 7 too!! Have fun!
Great video! I was wondering: I know you can enter the park at 7:00 PM, but can you begin riding the rides at 7:00 PM or do you have to wait until 10:00 PM?
Oh yes! You can most definitely start riding rides right at 7pm. I just chose to start so I could see how much I could do during the event hours only! Thanks for watching! More to come!
WORD OF ADVICE: after having done Disney After Hours at HS last year and having a great time, we did the event at MK last night. I don’t want to say it was ruined, because it wasn’t (we rode 15 rides from 8PM to 12:45). But it did end on a sour note. It should NOT take 55 minutes to get from MK to your car at the TTC. No monorail and only one ferry running? Ridiculous. My tip? Only do this event at MK if you’re staying at a Disney resort with direct bus access from the front of MK.
Wow. That’s horrid! That wasn’t my experience at all! I know the ferry stops at 11:30 normally so if the monorail went down that would cause a huge issue for sure!! My guess is they re opened the ferry to help ease pressure on the busses? Sorry that happened to you tho! At least you had a fun time in the park but I agree, the experience is all encompassing so the full experience from arrival to departure needs to be good!
I bring a plastic Ziplok bag to After Hours Events to bring popcorn back to my room.
Going in April .1st time at Disney. Im suoer excited.
Excited for you!!! Let me know if you need any help!
Me too !!❤
Rewatching your videos now! They're so good! You need to make more longer videos like this again! I know life is busy but I love your content!

Yes! Def the better pick of the two!
Excited to have the events back!
I’ll be doing the after hours on the 22nd after the kiddos are asleep. I like Enchantment as well.
Glad you are with me on enchantment. I dunno! After watching both shows in one night, enchantment just seemed so much more engaging and engaging!

@user-xw9nr9mt1j much appreciated!! I could say, I love that you love watching the videos that I loved making for those who love to watch them. Ha ha
Thanks for sharing with us!!!
I like Enchantment better too! thank you for this video.
For sure!!! Thanks for watchin’
Thanks for showcasing what these events are like. Just picked up AH tickets for June
Yes!!!! Glad it helped out!!! I’m doing Hollywood Studios AH this week so will have a compare and contrast vid comin
I love Enchantment too!
It was a total underrated show! I miss it

this video in January I believe but i still cant find out how many people they allot for this will get more crowded as weeks go on

Same!!!
For sure looks like it was worth it! That looks awesome!
Yes! So Much fun!

Thank you for this video!! How did you film on the tron ride by the way? I was too scared to hold up my phone 😂
Ha ha. Thanks so much for watching!
So I actually used an action camera attached to my wrist for Tron cause using the phones isn’t allowed anymore.
I wish Disneyland After Dark events had free snacks.
If I have a ticket for after hours but also for the park the same day .. do I have a spot to see the show at 8 or should I stay at the park til 10
They won’t kick regular day guests out till 10 pm
