Ive been using henna treatment for about a year and it has been the best for my hair,, also bc henna i so strong you need to deep condition right after use, and only use alittle at a time until your hair gets use to doing a full henna treatment to avoid setback, i dont wanna promote another youtuber on here but to best explain i suggest checking out Curly Proverbs videos on here henna treatments thats how i incorporated it into my regimen

for 6 months once a week , I would take 1 teaspoon of each henna, amla, hibicus, brahmi, shikikai, neem, and yucca root powder, and mix with a deep conditioner leave on for 3 hours the first hour I would sit under a hooded dryer...long story short strengthens, noticeable growth, and softness...I would also follow up with a diy avocado, molasses, oil blend deep treatment...my hair loves this, I now only do it once a month

Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
      *What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
      Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
      JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS

In our culture (Middle East) we use henna once or twice a year at least. It dehydrates the hair, and of course for the dye purpose too, but doesn't in any shape of form thickens it. Because straight hair is too damp, henna will strip the oils and make it dry, so it seems it gained some sort of volume to it. But it's instant solution for thin hair. My hair is can't handle henna because it's too thin and curly too. So I don't do it as many times.. But thick curly hairs don't need it really because you have beautiful luscious strands regardless. 😊

    • @HillbillyYEEHAA

It thickens the hair by coating it. The lawson dye clings to the damaged areas.

Smashbox hello. I actually used henna this weekend. I no longer use lemon juice. I get my henna from Hennasooq. Khadijah, the owner says lemon juice is actually not good to use. I don’t use indigo because I love my red edges. I mix the henna with warm water, sometimes tea, hibiscus, aloe Vera, just depends on my mood. Let it sit for at least 4 hours and apply to my hair. Let it stay in my hair for at least 4 hours and rinse and co wash with a conditioner like Trader Joe’s tea tree conditioner. I shampoo my hair 4-5 days later. No indigo fo me because I love my red edges. I have a video on my channel. Please watch it when you have time. Good luck and stay safe 😊

Acid closes the cuticles ie aloe Vera. Lemons are actually alkaline. That is why it works on your low porosity hair. If you have high porosity aloe will smooth and add shine.

Love the video. I’ve been using Red Raj henna from a black owned female business for over 5 years. I don’t use ACV or lemon juice due it being so drying to my hair. I use 1 tbsp Amla powder...about 1-1 1/2 tsp Aloe Vera powder (the Aloe is very concentrated so I really don’t need much...about 2 tbsps hibiscus powder and Red Bliss essential oil with warm (not hot) distilled water. All products are from hennasooq.com. I let the dye release for about 3-4 hours...put it in my hair and let sit for 3-4 hours. When I blend my henna I actually use my blender with the metal beaters. I did make sure this was fine by calling the owner. IF your henna has added ingredients it shouldn’t then you can not use a metal beater. Since I know this henna is pure I can use it since beating henna manually smooth hurts my wrist. I rinse with warm water first and then (if I’m in the mood) use VO5 conditioner...if no conditioner then just water and then a deep treatment or the hennasooq Honey Nourisher with heat or my steamer. Since I’ve been using henna so long for me it’s not messy as long as I don’t make it watery. Anyone who hasn’t tried henna should...HOWEVER...if you want to use a chemical dye at some point you might have problems since henna is permanent.

    • @EfikZara

Ms Nkuli Lol it does deposit color but if your hair is black, the “color” won’t be obvious. It may just have a deep red sheen in light but Henna will make it appear darker. To counteract, use indigo after using henna. That will make the hair pitch black.

I do them every 6-12 weeks... it just depends on how I’m feeling lol. I haven’t done one in AGES... not because I don’t want to but because I’ve been busy. As soon as I’m available, I’ll do one because it’s still a very important part of my regimen. I think it’s best to do them every 6-8 weeks, and that’s what I would do if I had more time. I’ll likely go back to doing them that frequently when I am able.

I’ve been binging your videos and so happy that I found your channel! Question: to confirm, you add 4.5 bottles of lemon juice to your henna and hibiscus mix? I want to make sure I do it correctly lol

    • @EfikZara

Lol, most def. it will completely cover the highlights and turn them copper-auburn (depending on how blond they are).

If I should use henna on my hair, should I use it in paste or in powder form?

      @EfikZara  4 года назад +1

Paste; the way I’ve used it in this video is the most potent in my opinion.
