Ok, but can we talk about how cruel the line "Even in my fantasies, Make-believe couldn't make you" is for BETTY, the person that no amount of magic or wishes was ever capable of bringing back? This song is so beautiful but so dang tragic. It's also one of, if not the most Adventure Time-sounding song I've ever heard. Listen to that ukelele, those distant horns. Perfection.
I haven't noticed. But yeah, that's a pretty tragic line, especially after considering how Simon couldn't bring Betty back by wishing her in Prismo's time room.
This show taught me to love my Betty and to not just live for myself and my interests. I would give the world to make her happy. I know what's best for me but I want what's best for her, so we can have the best us. This show taught me it's okay to not know what will happen, but to make the best of everything. I have been scared of dying and not able to give the love she deserves. I hope to help her and make sure she can live the life she wants and needs whether I'm here or not, so I'm gonna love her like everyday is my last. It's not fair to think what'd she go through without me, but I know she's strong and can live for both of us. I love you and I always will my princess. I hope to live as long possible to take care of us the way she deserves.

This song is an absolute masterpiece in every aspect, it just works incredibly well just as a song, as Simon and Betty's song the first time you hear it in Jerry and it's somehow even better after the finale of F&C.
I noticed how much the lyrics relate alot to how much Betty loves Simon after watching the last 2 episodes...you did such a good job but it honestly hurts.

Even though Simon and Betty said goodbye, I still hope they manage to get back together next season. Both Betty and Simon did some dumb stuff trying to get back to each other, putting other people and themselves in jeopardy, but we've seen Simon grow so much this season and even though he got closure I still want him to be happy 😭

It's truly amazing when a show you grew up with ended up growing up alongside you. Fiona and Cake reminded me how much I missed Adventure Time
