I mean you should not be using drills anyway they don't get mining speed buffs at all and have shorter range than pickaxe. Also it's VERY easy to get enough buff that pickaxe becomes faster than drill.

Where a lot of games get their high gigabyte count is from the large amounts of polygons used in their 3D models, along with other things Terraria doesn’t have like detailed lighting engines and all that. It’s similar to why Deep Rock Galactic takes up relatively little space, the devs aren’t just tech wizards who magically make the game take up a tiny amount of space, it’s just the visual style they went for happens to be very non-resource intensive.
I love 2d , i wish mario was still made in 2d sprites , just look at anime for instance everyone hates cgi anime , 2d animation just has that special charm that 3d cannot replicate , plus its space efficient too and runs on potatos

Me personally would like more summoner armor options in general Ever since the (well deserved) obsidian armor set nerf, there hasn't really been a hard mode armor set to replace it in terms of play style. Abigail is supposed to be your first summon that will be replaced around queen bee, and getting fragments/sigils becomes very easy after killing moon lord.
I’m pretty sure they already did. Drills are faster than their pickaxe variants, but aren’t affected by any digging buffs. I use a luminite drill sometimes opposed to a pickaxe because I don’t want to drink a mining potion or change any of my equipment to mining buffs. A second buff would be nice though.
@@Aerythraea Drills are also slower than they're supposed to be, literally like 1 digging buff is all it takes for pickaxes to match or pass them lol, pretty worthless to ever make a drill when it's so easy to always have more than enough buff to pass them. Literally just a light reforge and a mining potion and every single pickaxe already matches or surpasses drills, and anything more than that, like a food buff, surpasses drills.
The only thing I hated in this update is the stackable weapons lbut the rest is fantastic I just wish they will add a new boss for the dessert a golem for pre hard mode perhaps

Today has been crazy! I woke up to flash flood warnings and tornado sirens (pretty common in Nebraska this time of year), then had to go to school just for there to be no power so they have to send us right back home. I get to then go to my favorite sandwich place, get home, vomit it back up 3 times, then proceed to go to bed for like 2 hours. But the first thing I see when I open my phone is this video, making it all worth it. What I’m trying to say is that when ever you upload a new video it always brightens my day! Please continue making these videos, they are what got me back into playing terraria (especially your original Mod of Redemption series, which sent me down a huge rabbit hole)!

yes it is, its a really fun game. i play both minecraft and terraria, anyone who calls terraria 2d minecraft is wrong. minecraft is mainly exploration based and farming where to terraria which is more combat based with more than 10 bosses i think and a balanced progression requiring you to kill some bosses to further progress the story. sorry for the long text
Terraria has over 30 bosses, and the game is focused on fighting, developing, and expanding your tools and knowledge. It's a really good game, and steam has a 2 hour trial time, so you can give it a shot for free!
You know it's refreshing knowing that Re-Logic is doing all of this to make the gameplay more fun cause I keep seeing other studios adding something lame things and remove stuff that I completely forgot Terraria just add more new content than removing some

Bugfix is needed for hardcore players because even if they intentionally get themselves slain, the items would just get transported into the hopper and still save a lot items if not an extra accessory slot, mana, and hearts
The idea of auroras in the game is so cool I actually Mandela Effected myself into thinking it already existed in the game and that I had just never paid attention to it
They said that it's coming after this update (and it's subsequent hotfixes) They have also been shown to be testing crossplay in a spoiler late last year, so at the very least we know that it's coming.
Hey just letting you know that this will never happen so don’t get your hopes up! Mods require a separate launcher and downloading files that aren’t available on console.
First, they'd have to port Tmodloader onto console, then make a whole new database for it to connect to and then people would have to port their mods for console a.k.a rewrite the entire thing... Safe to say, unless you have to pay for mods like Minecraft did and the mod creators get money from it, no one's going to want to do that

Smart cursor was especially bad on console because it’s hard to leave your cursor in one place with smart cursor on.

The next update where they’re adding a portable safe, making the banners drop differently, making weapons stack differently, AND finally adding automated item collection is going to make storage so much easier than it already is.

Minecraft player here is terreria actually fun I’ve been considering buying it
It is fun. I would say you get confused at the start but with friends, videos and trail and error you can find the fun in it.
I was a diehard Minecraft fan but I got a little burned out and decided to look for a game, I bought terraria with a few friends and now I have 800 hours on the game, I'd say you should try it, and if you're still unsure wait for a steam sale
Also, a serious thing to acknowledge is that you need to use either video tutorials or terrariawiki, I was really lucky because my friend, who I was playing with, was the guy who was looking up things online
yes it is, its a really fun game. i play both minecraft and terraria, anyone who calls terraria 2d minecraft is wrong. minecraft is mainly exploration based and farming where to terraria which is more combat based with more than 10 bosses i think and a balanced progression requiring you to kill some bosses to further progress the story. sorry for the long text
Terraria has over 30 bosses, and the game is focused on fighting, developing, and expanding your tools and knowledge. It's a really good game, and steam has a 2 hour trial time, so you can give it a shot for free!

I’m assuming the “removing evil biome” seed would be the Drunk seed and Celebration seed. Not sure why but it’s the first thing that came into my head
Drunk has both evils also given that evils are needed for progression it would need an alternate progression pathway.

Bugfix is needed for hardcore players because even if they intentionally get themselves slain, the items would just get transported into the hopper and still save a lot items if not an extra accessory slot, mana, and hearts
The idea of auroras in the game is so cool I actually Mandela Effected myself into thinking it already existed in the game and that I had just never paid attention to it

Hey just letting you know that this will never happen so don’t get your hopes up! Mods require a separate launcher and downloading files that aren’t available on console.
First, they'd have to port Tmodloader onto console, then make a whole new database for it to connect to and then people would have to port their mods for console a.k.a rewrite the entire thing... Safe to say, unless you have to pay for mods like Minecraft did and the mod creators get money from it, no one's going to want to do that
