Scalebound (スケイルバウンド Sukeirubaundo?) is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Microsoft Studios, currently scheduled for release in 2017 exclusively for Xbox One. In this game, players assume control of Drew, who is accompanied by a dragon called Thuban. Players can use a variety of weapons to defeat enemies, and may issue commands to the dragon, which assists players during battles. Unlike other games developed by PlatinumGames, the game puts more focuses on graphical qualities and the role-playing aspect instead of action.

Guilty 😆. I couldn't resist...besides this game is so graphically intense I don't see how it's possible. PS4...Yes but the Switch 🤔 it just doesn't seem possible. Maybe If Platinum got Panic Button to port it then I would say yes.

Not sure if you’re still on RUclips but there still seems to be hope for Scalebound 😅 In a recent interview from a couple week ago, Kamiya said that he’s serious about bringing back Scalebound and said he wants to work with Phil Spencer again.

I'm seeing some lag. And I'm pretty certain that it is not my laptop.
Its frame rate not lag. Plat has an outstanding record of correcting these things. Thats probably why it was delayed to fix some technical errors such as frame rate.

frame rate really dips a lot. you can see it turning into a slideshow every once in a while.
Ricochet Babalon well I just hope that this game runs well on pc and doesn't turn into another Quantum Break. Quantum Break on pc was so broken. So hopefully they delayed the game because they want to optimize the pc version more.

In a World that Last Guardian almost got cancelled, but The fan comittment changed Sony decision in a 10 year troublesome deving cycle, This game and Fable shows how much respect Microsoft has for their fans and for diversity in their lineup... NONE

nier automata does look the shit, but i kinda like scalebound more than original nier. like the whole small human in a big world with big enemies dynamic, Xenoblade chronicles X had it too.

God damn it, why did this have to get cancelled? It was one of the reasons I planned on getting an Xbox One, but with it cancelled I don't really want to get a One now. All we can do now is hope Sony or Nintendo picks it up, or Microsoft realizes it was a bad idea cancelling it and tries to get PlatinumGames back to release it.

I don't really like the way this looked, stand back let my dragon do all the work well I shoot tiny ass arrows. Then jump in for a repetitive button combo when the enemy finally gets staggered, then repeat.
