- This Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Speedrun Walkthrough shows the full game with good ending (including all cutscenes).
The "Just Get Me Outta Here" trophy requires you to beat the game in 4 hours or less. My time was 2 hours 30 minutes 50 seconds.
Most importantly, restarting checkpoints (hitting "retry" after death) adds to your time! It won't reset time on checkpoint restart. A workaround is to create manual save games at cassette recorders. If something goes horribly wrong quit out to the main menu (pause game, press "end"), then click "load game" and choose a manual save.
Speedruns Tips:
- Play on easy difficulty.
- You have more than enough time. I had 1,5 hours left and this was my first attempt.
- Run past all enemies. Don't spend too much time looting items, only pick up the stuff you really need.
- If you get stuck for a long time remember to reload manual save from main menu.
- After the first playthrough you unlock a more powerful pistol. Pick it up from the item box. The more playthroughs you've done the more special items you will unlock.
All in all it's not a difficult game to speedrun. You just have to know what to do and where to go. After doing 1-2 playthroughs you should be able to beat the 4 hour mark easily.

Thanks so much man, I went on a 4.5 year hiatus from this game and never got around to returning, and wanted to return to get some remaining trophies. Thanks to your two videos, I completed the speedrun and all 3 collectible trophies in a single run (3 hour 15 minute time). Now for Madhouse...edit: oh god dammnit there's an antique coin trophy for madhouse too?!

I just passed this game for the first time last night. I decided to do the speedrun today, and passed it with almost an hour to spare. This guide was extremely helpful. It was easiest to watch until you can save, play the same way, saving at the same point, exit the game, watch, and repeat until you're done. Nicely done ✔

I just got this trophy. I decided to try the speedrun as my third playthrough of this game, and even though I started panicking while running through the tanker and wasted some time to a point where I thought I had screwed up, I still got the trophy in the end. And with a better time than I thought. My complete time was 3:07:39, and I'm freakin' happy as this was my first time speedrunning a Resident Evil game.

Another tip during the second Jack fight. When he goes for the shears you can stand on the left of him in front of the chainsaw and you have time to pick it up and back away before he can get attack you.

Ya, I didn't even know he did chop off your leg because I was sneaking.
All you have to do is run straight at him and grab hatch key and then run to the hatch. Saves way more time and he never catches you.

@@willtobin7645 Because he actually died in this game. It's Eveline's mold that fuses with Ethan and make him alive again. That's why he can recover quickly and reattach his limbs so fast just like the Baker's family.
Those who are affected by Eveline's mold can hallucinate her which Ethan does when he's on the verge of dying in RE8

Funny how this more realistic take on FPS is making medicine look too magical and yet we ignore all the wolverine-esc regeneration after god knows what types of projectiles in COD or any other mainstream games

Ended up finishing this speed run in 2:59 (spent some time scavenging for ammo), but seeing all three trophies (speed run, 3 med kits & 3 boxes) was a great feeling. After that I beat madhouse with the coins, and the platinum was mine

@@nils8104 it sounds like you're saying 'well it's a puzzle game so it doesn't matter how well the different tasks are structured.' that's not a very good argument. I actually really like this game but some of its flaws definitely lies in its navigation design.
@@Christoffer13 fair enough. i just think that it wasnt that tedious to find out what to do with my first blind playthrough. i see how that can happen though, except for the vague descriptions of what to do provided in the top left of the screen, the game doesnt offer any info of what to do exactly very often.
Great guide! I just completed my run at 2 hours and 49 minutes. It took me longer because I was also going for the Walk it Off and Resource Manager trophies so I was taking my time to play it safe on certain parts. Just got all 3! 👍

Vin Dusel can you explain the story, cause i dont get it. I mean like i watched people play this countless of time but i still cant comprehend wtf is happening. Andddd im assuming that you might understand the game.
meow umbrella made this new bioweapon called the E type (Insert word that I would butcher the spelling of). This weapon was transported on a ship through the Gulf of Mexico. Evelin (the biohazard) broke free from captivity on that ship. Mia and a man named Alan were hired to make the shipment of the bioweapon seem inconspicuous. She broke free and killed everyone except for Mia (because Eveline liked Mia I guess) and so she saved her. Idk how long later, jack baker finds the two of them and eveline infects the family. Over the course of 5 months I think, the bakers were completely infected. Cue the end of the game, Eveline is dead, Mia and Ethan are alive along with Zoe (because she was saved by joe baker) and that’s that. The in between happens in the game.

This walk-through helped me complete the game in less than four hours. Quite a task for me
RE7 have better driving mechanics than Need For Speed (impressive)
So this game is just a new beginning for the standard Resident Evil, Its like a prologue before the action kicks in.
Thats exactly what I was thinking, the beginning felt like RE1 and the second half felt like the later games in the series

I'm late af to the party but you're a legend for posting this.. just finished the game in about 3 hours following this so thank you! 🤣
If you want to finish the beggining a little bit faster do this:
1. When your fighting mia with the axe just go at her if she hits you once or twice its fine just heal
2. I recommend staying near the door on the far left when she has the chainsaw(also when she charges at you hold guard and she will be stunned for a bit so take advantage)
3. With jack just hug the wall and as jack swings you around crouch when he is going to swing at you and just run as fast as you can to the hatch and if you do it in time you will skip the encounter where he cuts your leg off
(Also you dont have to watch the derelict house tape if you dont want the coin)
Somehow the way he gets out of the car is similar to Outlast Intro

If something goes horribly wrong quit out to the main menu (pause game, press "end"), then click "load game" and choose a manual save.
Speedruns Tips:
- Play on easy difficulty.
- You have more than enough time. I had 1,5 hours left and this was my first attempt.
- Run past all enemies. Don't spend too much time looting items, only pick up the stuff you really need.
- If you get stuck for a long time remember to reload manual save from main menu.
- After the first playthrough you unlock a more powerful pistol. Pick it up from the item box. The more playthroughs you've done the more special items you will unlock.
All in all it's not a difficult game to speedrun. You just have to know what to do and where to go. After doing 1-2 playthroughs you should be able to beat the 4 hour mark easily.
