Thank you Pia, those commentaries are very helpful for us learners. To often people talk just vaguely about controlling centers or having a better positions, but instead you show us exactly why and how those things happen, your commentaries are almost the only one I watch because they are rich in information and very insightful.
I love the deep range of Pia's commentary, everything from what the pieces look like in a tournament, to incredibly long and insightful variations into every single position. Just the best!
I just came in for a quick look at the end of the video as u walked in to chat with your mum, my sound was off but I could immediately tell you had won. Great going Anna, proud of u.
Chess is very much in your DNA structure given your parentage, however as much of a blessing as that is, it would bring it's own pressures. I commend you on your ability and very much look forward to seeing what the future holds, as I can only see very good things from the evidence thus far, not to mention your superstar of a mother who will keep you grounded. Keep up the good work ladies.
Good job Anna! I notice that when you make a move it sometimes takes Pia minutes to see it while she continues analyzing. Could you guys look into that? Must be easily fixed right? Otherwise great stream and good content. Keep it up both of you!
I find it odd that rest of WFM with lower rating are playing in the open tournament instead of under 2200 if your serious about improving your chess while pursuing points and titles.
@@Ozzy.Kopec1 the under 2200 seems filled a few lower, older titled players way past their prime, amateur club players, and progressing teens not ready for the open yet such as the Sweden girl on board 1 tomorrow. The rest of the titled players and serious chess players are in the Open/Cup portion. My guess she is more concerned about winning for her viewers to keep up appearances than improving her chess.
@@toddstark878 I finally found the rules. For the Cup: Open for players with an Elo-rating = 2200 or junior (2004 or later) or women players with a rating =2100 The winner of the previous Rilton ELO tournament is also eligible to play. Since Anna is under rated under 2100 and never won the Rilton ELO she was not eligible for the Cup .
@@Ozzy.Kopec1 I believe you interpreted wrong woman and junior with 2100 ELO previously allowed exceptions …handful woman like Anna with previous 2100 playing in the Cup portion. That why previous comment I mention the rest of WFM below 2100 were competing in Cup portion as examples.
@@toddstark878 Please find one WFM playing in the CUP that is below 2100 and was born BEFORE 2004 There should not be any as they would not be able to compete in the CUP.

Yes, that’s so true. You worded it perfectly!

Anna has never not had a cough
More cowbell! Congrats.
Chess Goddess and Chess Goddess Mom, great show.
What is Anna FIDE Rating ?
It's 2043, but her performance rating is higher, around 2100 or more.
Is she playing again today?
Sure wish there was a shorter recap option for those of us that can't watch a 4hr video 😢
Easier opponent but I do think your time management is much improved.
Did Anna start without him
Savage 😅

I was wondering why

Anyone else disappointed she didn’t wear jeans today? 🤭
Opponent wearing jeans?
She won And I know
gg
Sucks to be an old dude and see some pretty girl less than half you age pwn you in chess 😅
I would think only a guy with a fragile ego would let it bother him..😅
…mama Pia,…why not post photos/vids of young Anna before she became the shark-of-the-chessboard?…
Anna checkmate 🤍
