This reminds me of my mom... she would always watch Jurassic park, and I played this for her once.. she cried :).. She's gone now, so thanks for playing this.. brings back good memories..
Brings me close to tears every time. Silent memories of the doors to the park opening, Ian Malcolm leaning forward grinning, and the beautiful ending of this playing while they fly away in a helicopter.

What an honor for John Williams and what an honor for us to have the Grand Master of music guide our childhood dreams with his magical talent!! Also highly recommend watching John Williams get an honor tribute by Philharmonic orchestra and millions of fans! Such an honor for him!! Thank You Master Williams!!!
forget weddings or funerals. I want to start seeing this beautiful composition represent how beautiful our Earth is, and help people become aware of how in danger it is from human activity, 65 million years ago life flourished, and in 65 years our grandchildren will be in trouble of mass extinction and their kids will see that fate as well if we don't do something today.
Russell Warmerdam I believe in the scientific community, in carbon dating, in fossil museums and scientists everywhere around the world, not in a holy book that says the earth was made in 6 days and is 6000 years old -.-
This is my favourite classical piece of music and it was my late friend Andy Olivers favourite too. It was played at his funeral, even as I type this, the tears flow at his loss at only 37 years old in 2017. This is for you buddy 😢
I’m sorry for your loss. But know that your friend is now soaring above in the clouds with the pteranodons that helped make this franchise so memorable. May he rest in piece.
A friend of mine played this on the piano in church one time as prelude music. No one noticed anything. Everyone thought it was just another background hymn. It is sublime, and definitely a hymn. It makes me want to put words to it.
This song means SO much to me. I grew up watching these movies with my dad. The days is going to come where his not around but there’s also going to be memories of us watching these movies together ☺️ Appreciate your parents as dorky as they are
I walked down the isle to this song. Still so obsessed with it and how beautiful it is. Some people noticed right away what it was but most didn’t and it was so special to me and my husband as we love Jurassic Park.
This is brilliant and I just cried. Thank you, Piano Guys, for creating this beautiful art and sharing it with the world. You've made the beauty of so many people's childhood into something memorable.
I walked to this for our wedding last year. Love the movies, and adore this version of the melody. Will forever be 'our' melody. Thank you for making it special!
Love this theme so much. It's about as iconic as Jaws and Star Wars. Just hearing it, it really brings back the feelings the first movie inspired that the sequels have forgotten - not suspense, not-edge of-your-seat excitement, not even delight, but pure and simple awe at the majesty of seeing those magnificent creatures brought to life properly in a way no other movie has before done or surpassed since. Yes, we've got more powerful computers and better tech now so we can make even more dinos, but the first movie was not about overwhelming you with tons of dinosaurs - it was about proving that dinosaurs could be made real again, nothing more and nothing less. If you want proof, just watch the original movie again - there's maybe one scene with a lot of dinosaurs, and the rest it's just very basic creatures and only one or two of them. Simple. Beautiful. Perfect.
I was eight when it was released. Dinosaurs are birds! I was giddy and explaining to everyone I knew about the paper 7 years ago (18 years after the movie) that the Velociraptor's color and pattern of feathers had been discovered. Oh, and I am a geneticist now. Medical genetic engineering.
I have one question: Is it okay for a 22 year old man to cry at something this beautiful? I mean, this is a piece of my soul I just heard. I honestly have never heard anything more beautiful than this. After all these years, I'm speechless.
I would say it takes a real man to admit they cried listening to this. I'll admit I teared up. That's the power of music and this piece is straight up beautiful!
Thexdmattx Let me ask you something: Is there anything you are passionate about? Mine is prehistoric life and Jurassic Park was the first film to introduce me to real Dinosaurs so I have Michael Crichton and Steven Speilberg to thank for that, not to mention that John Williams deserves thanks as well. Jurassic Park is a part of me and I am so happy that it has returned, so yes, I am a man and this music made me cry. There is a lot of music in the world but there are those songs that make you remember. This one reminds me of my all time favorite film and how much it has changed my life. I am a real man for admitting that. What else you got?

Every time this song comes on it paralyses me, I can't do anything but stop and listen. The Piano Guys did such a beautiful rendition of this song, probably my favorite movie theme and definitely my favorite song from The Piano Guys!
This Theme has SO many good memories!! I know all I want in life is my parents to say they’re proud of me but when they’re gone I’ll have these movies to watch when I watched with them as a kid ☺️
That was luckily timed that the Pterodactyl flew over and they managed to capture it on film in the reflection! It really added something magical to the video :-)
Convinced my fiancé to walk down the isle to this. This is the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard and I’m so glad to have found it. Thank you guys so much
Actually the original track is so apt, right from the beginning it expresses the word "Jurassic" in such perfection. Salute to John Williams. Magnificent representation by The Piano Guys like always.
Sucks that humankind was not able to witness these majestic creatures as they ruled the planet. Would've been awesome to see first hand. Time machine, where are you?
I also played this at my wedding. Me and my male partner both had a love for dinosaurs. We were married for 3 weeks until I came home from work one day and found him laying in bed with a women, I felt betrayed since then I am now homeless.
My fiance just sat me down and told me she had a great idea for our wedding. She went to play this and barely a few notes in I knew exactly what it was! So epic and many great memories came back. Simply beautiful. Amazing wedding song.
Driver - So where you want me to deliver this piano? The Guys - Middle of the forest, preferably with a river near by. Driver - I'm not going to dump this piano in the forest. The Guys - Oh no, we're going to play it out there. Driver - ...you what mate?

John Williams is truly the best composer in the 20-21 century
I'd also count Alan Silvestri in the same category as Williams and Zimmer
I think you may be right -- just because his works were for a popular audience doesn't make them less moving.
Hans Zimmer and the late, great, James Horner for me. A appreciate Williams but not a favorite of mine.
This stands strictly for cinema music composers. And this title shall belong to Justin Hurwitz for 21th
John really kinda ripped off a lot of other people's work though.

This Theme has SO many good memories!! I know all I want in life is my parents to say they’re proud of me but when they’re gone I’ll have these movies to watch when I watched with them as a kid ☺️
They are alive. They are alive!
No, not the dinosaurs. ThePianoGuys
That was luckily timed that the Pterodactyl flew over and they managed to capture it on film in the reflection! It really added something magical to the video :-)
Jessy Bui Actually, just Dyslexic! :-)
Jessy Bui You are a meanie pants :(
Komodo Music Spare no expense.
Komodo Music i'm not even mad. that's impressive trolling right there
Komodo Music FAAAAAAAAAAAKE Pterodactyls don't fly that low over woods.
Convinced my fiancé to walk down the isle to this. This is the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard and I’m so glad to have found it. Thank you guys so much
I got chills from this...also I teared up...beautiful...just AMAZING.
4 years since I had this masterpiece playing at my wedding
I also played this at my wedding. Me and my male partner both had a love for dinosaurs. We were married for 3 weeks until I came home from work one day and found him laying in bed with a women, I felt betrayed since then I am now homeless.
My fiance just sat me down and told me she had a great idea for our wedding. She went to play this and barely a few notes in I knew exactly what it was! So epic and many great memories came back. Simply beautiful. Amazing wedding song.
Damn lucky
@@marcrivas308 what is that true
How was your guests reaction?
I remember listening to these guys 24/7, like 4 years ago. Still amazing as hell
You can feel the passion for music in they way they play 👏
Driver - So where you want me to deliver this piano?
The Guys - Middle of the forest, preferably with a river near by.
Driver - I'm not going to dump this piano in the forest.
The Guys - Oh no, we're going to play it out there.
Driver - ...you what mate?
whatever loki
Loki you are evil
Piano guys - right here, no wait over here I like the way the moon rocks look with it. Driver - I...just.....ugh....
you're a real cold character, you know that Loki?
Damian Prock
You were made to be ruled.
when i die i want these guys to play this at my funeral. especially if i was killed by a dinosaur. beautiful.
Big Walt, same 😥☺
Am i the only one to be touched right to the soul with those few musical notes?...Simply beautiful....
How the hell can this get dislikes!? I don't understand....this is so perfect!
+Sel HL I KNOW!! IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL THAT I LITERALLY CRIED WHEN I WATCHED THIS!!
P.S. I LOVE YOU PIANO GUYS!! :) :)
+Sel HL They got pooped on by a pterodactyl and in their disoriented state accidentally hid the dislike button.
that's not funny
Cordelia Loyd Do you have a better explanation?
...
I would love to see them do a mashup of songs from Skyrim and other Elder Scrolls games.
That would be awesome!
More so morrowind as that's the best imo
TheNerd Check out their friend, Lindsey Stirling: she's done several videos in that vein.
***** Indeed he has. In fact, he and Lindsey have *collaborated* twice on such projects!
Thanks.
This will be my wedding theme :3
