I've had mine just under a week and its the same model as the one reviewed here. it's even the same colour. Main reason I chose it was for the look and the space age dashboard. For the most part I really like it. It's a very smooth drive and handles country roads as easily as town driving. No idea why he's grumbling about the stop start (which you can turn off) or clunking in reverse because mine doesn't do it. I knew before I got it that there's not of lot legroom in the back which isn't an issue for me but it's a lot less than I realised. I'm 6ft 2 and with the seat in my driving position even a child wouldn't fit in the back. Only thing that niggles me is the lane keep assist is a bit over sensitive and kicks in sometimes when there's no need, especially on country roads but not enough to be an issue.
@@carljones6949 I really am looking forward to it, I placed the order last Sunday so I’ve got quite lucky to get it so quickly. What colour did you go for?
@@1ast934 I wouldn’t. I know people who have had loads of problems already. The suspension plates at the back rattle after 1000 miles and if you have keyless entry then good luck getting in it from time to time. The car forgets the key. Look at the corsa e forum if you don’t believe me because the corsa and mokka share the same keyless software. Also if you have the wheels on this car they are a nightmare to clean
I went for the SRI NAV premium in black, I have another four weeks to go for delivery but not confirmed. I had a test drive in the auto which I am going for and seem fine to me I did have a 21 plate Grandland X and I did not have a problem with Keyless entry to be fair I just hope I have no problem like you explained.
@@carljones6949 the keyless entry system is a new system on the corsa and mokka. It is different from the grandland one. The suspension problem happens once you have used the car a while. What happens is that the suspension plates rattle when you go over potholes or speed humps. It sounds like you have loads of loose tools in the back
Why to reviewers kick VX so much - this is a very, very nit-picky review. I think this gen Mokka looks great, has tons of kit, drives well and is great VFM. I'm not an SUV fan, but I'd take this any day of the week over the Puma. Ford seem very much 'done' right now and don't seem that much interested in the European market anymore - even the Corsa has taken over from the Fiesta as the UK's best selling car in the UK this year. Ford definately on the slide.
Ive heard many reviewers say it handles badly and an equal number saying it handles ok. Some reviewers say the engine is not finely tuned and others say it is good. Dunno what to think anymore
First time I lay my eyes on it in the forecourt I was confused such an awesome looking machine had a vauxhall badge. Well I've now test driven the e version in this trim and I felt so comfortable and the sport sped off smoothly. I have reserved and can't wait to bring this chunky baby home!
He says " finally they have put some effort in on the inside too" but I have always loved the Interior on a vauxhall....I drive a bmw atm and its so basic compared to a vauxhall. I'm looking forward to driving my new vauxhall and selling my bm !!
Ordered the ultimate auto 4 weeks ago, long wait time but looking forward to getting it. Honestly bought it based on looks. Useful review though I'll be sure to turn off stop start!
Start\stop can be an unmitigated pain in the ass regardless of car, my parents c3 air cross start\stop just seems to kick in at random without warning. Its supreme fun at junctions where the car will jerk into life before moving instead of moving off normally.
Had our car a coue of years. Been very reliable. Seat is uncomfortable on a long journey. Very little room in the boot and the back but it suits our needs. Not a family car.
Prefer the Mokka X, they made the new version smaller then the old one, and less comfortable, School boy error there. Only psychical buttons for air temperature but not for air flow to change direction which has to be used in the screen lol abit weird
Opel Is German and Vauxhall has British Origins Then GM brought the brands. Opel was doing well at the time and Vauxhall was well generally long considered garbage. It was GM who decided to implement Opel designs into British Vauxhalls to ensure the future of the company. Nowadays there are just minor spec changes between the models hence forth. ie Vauxhall retains then name purely due to the historic origin of the manufacture for Opel design Vauxhalls from their parent company GM / Stellantis
I got mine last Monday but it’s still only got 7 miles on the clock BECAUSE THERE IS NO BLOODY FUEL NEARBY DUE TO IDIOTS PANIC BUYING. Edit: I soooooooo wish I had ordered the electric version instead of the petrol Launch Edition one that I have. It’s ironic that the reason I went petrol was “range anxiety”… but now I have range anxiety even worse with the lack of petrol (I only have an estimated 21 miles in the tank at present because I couldn’t fill up after picking the car up).
Terrible car! Had mine for 6 month now, it's NOT made for long distance at all. I watch x2 miles dissappear off my range for every mile i do on the motorway on cruise control. Buy a different car

Picked up my electric Mokka two days before the petrol idiocy kicked off. I love this car. Done 500 miles in it (so far) and it's just been superb.
How has the battery held up?
Had mine a week , love it !
Getting mine on 1st September, looking forward to getting it!!
I bet your looking forward to getting it. I ordered one myself on the 12 of August factory build. When did you place your order?

What was the wait time
@ehtech_ ordered the beginning of March and took a cancellation on the 25th of July as mine wasn't ready 🙃
@@rebeccam5969 🥲
Can't wait for mine.
Ordered mine end of August..
I got mine this week and love it! The only negative for me is that it's not as spacious as the older Mokka
Yeah the old mokka had a special power of making you fall asleep just by looking at it
I just brought one!!! In black it’s sick !!!!😘
As a puma owner I think this car looks great, I just wish it wasnt called a Mokka!!
Totally agree...
Can you charge from a 3 point plug at home? If you can how long does it take?
nice review.
Got a '17 Astra that clunkyness is a real pet peave especially in stop-start then chuck it into Reverse good lord
Hey guys can you please tell me what is it like with exceleration on motorway with 4/5 adults, can you compare with the kamiq
Which September?

YOU MEANT OPEL MOKKA?
I’m the UK it’s Vauxhall. Same car same company, just different name
Next time you review a car, try one of the basic techniques and keep your hands on the steering wheel. You might get a better result!
WHY is it that OPEL is called Vauxhall in England?
What a weird name

Why keep raving about electric that are totally impractical? 80% charge in 30 minutes against fuel tank fully filled in 3 minutes!
Your stuck in the past
Its fuckin OPEL🙂
No it’s a Peugeot 2008!
