Conor Oberst is an absolute pro at what he does. He has been releasing virtually flawless records for most of his life, with pretty much no breaks. His music and lyrics are obviously well thought out and his albums have very little, if any, filler. Most artists/bands are luck if they release 1 or 2 great albums and their lifetime, and Conor has consistently released quality music since the beginning of his career. Very few artists have that kind of talent.
"My thanks to The Conor Obersts and The Mystic Valley Band"

@CHOCOBOizm not true. there were like five songs on outer south he didn't even write. and he has said in many interviews that in bright eyes he mostly just writes the words and the chord progressions and that mike mogis and nate walcott do a lot of the arrangements.
outer south is the name of the stuff :)
the other guitarist isnt there, anyone no why? i forget his name.
Conor, another acoustic player, and the electric player. Isn't that all there ever was?
Conor, Taylor, Nik, they're all there are they not
Nate got up to shake Letterman's hand and Letterman ignored him, haha.
huckleberry finn!!!
well, if you follow his music since before fevers and mirrors. its not, his other music in bright eyes is more about him and girls and things happening with his life mostly. As his age progressed, so did his music. that is the reason for cassadaga and now a different band. If youre unclear as to why he named it completely different, "Mystic Valley Band", it is because Mogis is not playing with him. You know that red hairedc guy. yeah him. Still and always will be amazing like you said.
Never forget seeing this live, rolling on the ground at derkin's apartment saying "I want him to fall over" haha, derk was right - didn't happen
conor doesn't seem stoned or drunk during this performance.
The hat is fantastic, but I don't know who would choose to roll their pants at the bottom like I did in the late 80's.
@TheGuitarman37 seriously!:D
Conner has a big floppy hat. Oh Conner That best block out all of the hate.
I know his bro
@reekytex its ok. :)
think he says "tricked?"
@maaaaaaaaddie oh?
@maaaaaaaaddie i thought conor stopped smoking :\
Those pants
not gonna lie, if I didn't already know who they were I'd have been a little bit confused seeing this. in a good way. may or may not be hat-related.
cudos
his hat
@liedowninthelight
NEVER!!!!
awky Conor legs @2:40 :D
zorro hat =win
Jason haha
i don't pay.
he went from coke sniffing, cigarette puffing indie gid, to a weed smokin hippie star,
if tat makes sense, and don mean it in a badway, everything he does is very influential
just listen to alot of the new kiddie bands out now, theyre all takin a big bite off conor oberst cake.
sorry m high
thats cause after 15 years of drunk shows he can hold it down pretty well haha
let the man's ego take himself over...
yeah seriously, what's up with the pants and hat? that's kind of embarrassing. i know he wore that hat some other place recently too.
This isn’t good and it’s okay to blame that guitar solo.
I love Conor Oberst... but this is crap.
This sucks.
