I think Ibuki Kazuichi or Sonia would be cool. Ibuki has a very fun design but in my opinion her actual outfit is a bit boring. Please don’t sacrifice me to the higher up Ibuki stans or something but it’s really just a school uniform. Her hair and punk accessories are really cool and make up for the rest. I think her design is still cool and honestly better than the others. Sonia’s design give me elegant but also cute vibes and I love it! Her hair and her two bows are soooooo cute!!! And her skirt is just… idk but I really like it!! And kazuichis color design is just really cool to me and I like him a lot :)
Gundham and Hiyoko are also really cool but I forgot them and don’t wanna edit my comment :) Gundham design is soooooo unique and one of my favs!! And Hiyoko has cool kimono
Fuyuhiko (especially after arc) and Hajime honestly have such underrated designs. Sure they aren't over the top like Ibuki or Gundham, but that's a good thing! they're still very distinct, without crossing the line of being unrealistic (the same reason I prefer Zero Escape designs over Danganronpa ones most of the time)

Ok maybe it's kinda S strange but I really would like these characters since I want justice for them: -TERUTERU: people hate him because he's a pervert and yes he is but he doesn't deserve all this hate, even though he isn't a complex character, he still has a quirky personality, dreams and ideology, for exemple he doesn't talk in a perverted way when there are children, and he has a funky design to me. -MAHIRU: Even though she doesn't have the hate that Teruru or Hiyoko have, but people simply don't care or just forget about her since she didn't get much screentime and to some her design is "bland", not me of course I think it suits her, and beside she could have been so much more, and I personally want more justice for her! -HIYOKO: Probably the most hated DR character in the fandom with Angie even. Which is Sad since I love them both. Of course it's more Sad knowing she won't ever get her character developement she needed since her Death was ironically similar to Angie: Wrong time, Wrong place. I feel like maybe in an other timeline we could have seen a bett chapter 3 but who knows, but i want to bring justice to this dancing banana! She deserves more. -NEKOMARU: Seriously he's a good person and a good team coach, he sacrified himself two time for the group, and that let the group, with the help of Gundham, regan their confidence in living. But then again his spot is entirely stealed by Gundham which is more popular than him. -AKANE OWARI: She really need love Like others in this list, she survived and got a character grow, instead of a character developement it May be similar but it isn't trust me. In the end people just don't care because she "didn't do nothing to the plot". Long live the eating beast!
Mahiru is always going to be my top choice, but after that Nekomaru and Fuyuhiko are good choices from the guy's side, with Akane and Peko being good choices from the girl's side. Hope this helps.
