- Getting your motocross bike’s suspension revalved/resprung for your size, ability, and riding style is pretty standard operating procedure. The next step up from suspension work is to buy a full set of forks and a shock, which is a considerable jump in price and commitment. Over the years we’ve tried A-Kit suspension from KYB and Showa, both are amazing but, to be honest, are overkill for the average rider.
Here we get a chance to ride Ohlins newest version of the RXF 48 Fork and TTX FLOW Shock. What really stands out with this setup is that you can still get a lot of comfort and usability at “mortal rider” speed and don’t have to be a pro to experience the higher performance. But, if you are a pro/expet lever rider, you can get it to the A-Kit level as well. It’s really the best of both worlds and has a HUGE range of usability.

Öhlins suspension makes you a hero. you can hammer through & over-jump anything! it just sucks it up & asks for more & has saved me many times. initial cost may seem high but it doesnt depriciate & you can put you stock stuff back on the bike when you sell it. then you can sell the Öhlins for $$
Especially since revalving and springing the stock stuff gets you a significant way to the cost of this.
Nice, not much info out there on ohlins. Have them on my kx450 and love them. They feel bottomless compared to stock.
Awesome setup very sweet bike with awesome suspension..
Beautiful video and color grading. Top bike
How’s it compare to “ technical touch KYB installed & set up by factory connection “ kit ?
Öhlins on anything you drive or ride would be ideal! Can’t go wrong
Ohlins red hot sauce. We put that S on everything!
Beautiful
WP needs to get their act together. Who spends $5000 on a $10000 bike?
Me lol
Agreed. My 2022 450sxf is actually amazing the suspension is not bad at all and it’s not even broke in yet however my 2020 250sx the forks are rough!!! Like boarderline trash feels like I’m riding a hallow tube of air and getting crushed not to mention the front end just wants to go up all the time violently. I’ve been riding for over 2 decades so don’t think it’s me. But yeah totally agree worse part is they already have the stuff to make them better they just offer it separately to take your dollars. Aka wp 6500 xact kit or wp sprint fork conversion kit or wp cone valve etc etc etc.
Had Ohlins put on my ‘21 KTM 450 today at Pala. RD suspension out of Temecula was awesome and he will be meeting me a couple times to help really dial it in. It’s night and day compared to the WP and compared to other fork conversions, I had Pro Circuit spring conversion on my ‘17 KX450, it’s also a step up. It’s crazy that I spent $13k on a bike then another $4k+ on suspension but felt like blowing cash, no better place than on a bike, I’m happy.
Do you have a link, I can't find "RD suspension out of Temecula". Thanks!
I give u 4 k for the bike and Öhlins susp today..
Hey guys, who can help me with some advice and setup tips for my 23 ktm 450 with ohlins suspension, really trying to get this bike super dialed
What Is the weight of this fork?
What is the best way to set the front and rear settings 90kg ?
For Ohlins KTM sxf 450!
Thanks for the info
4.9 springs with stock clickers (14 comp, 14 rebound). Adjust compression +/- 1 click from there. Manuals can be found here:

Do they have a cartridge kit that goes in the stock fork?
They do indeed mate.
As someone who is not an expert. How do these shocks work in detail, what is going on inside them? And how are they different to stock shocks or KYB?
Attention to detail in manufacturing is the biggest part.
I'd like to have this on my CR500..
How much does this suspension setup cost?
3000k for the forks… 1300k for the shock
is this stock setting from factory?
Every A-kit suspension comes with free re-valve, and tailored to the customer who purchased the kit.
KYB, WP, Showa, Ohlins, Race-Tech's Gold Valve A-kit suspension products, and Lainer's Enigma Fork kit & IMPACT18 shock - those are the one's I can remember as of now, but I know I'm missing a couple...and that includes certain A-kit cartridge kits too. 👍
I jus put a ohlins rear shock in the rear of my 02 CR250R I need these forks next those stock showas I've done everything too still sucks
You can buy cartridges from Öhlins. They also work great!
I got factory connection to do my 03 forks and shock and it was so good I went 24hrs race in Alabama and then smashing 100ft jumps at the local me track in West Virginia. Can’t go wrong with the people who’ve been doing to for so long. The Ohlins benefit is the swapping and returning to stock stuff that gives you nudge toward these type of kits. My buddy had it and after half a riding season couldn’t figure out what was messing with the initial feel he had and the oil that came out of it was putrid and horrible but eventually did get solved once sent back to get serviced. But my Honda I’ve race it for almost 3 years straight with no leaks or services done and it’s still working perfect. Paid 1300 total for the revalving and springs.
3500 Öhlins
5000 WP
8000 Showa A- kitt
That's knee of the things about mx guys, gotta look pretty. Lol
Ohleens?
That is the correct pronunciation.
@@MX304 no, it is Öhlins . Not O it is Ö. English speakers butcher the name all time time.
Mxf 48 fork is the best it cost 2800 dollar
Swedish quality
Mis-pronounced the name
No he said it correct ... its pronounced "O-Leens" not "O-Lins"
I know it's not in your alphabet guys but would it be too hard to spell "Öhlins"?
not on the keyboard
The expensive polished turd with the Wp shite , upgrade to something , anything !
