TCL 10 Pro USB Port Replacement

Today we have a TCL 10 Pro with what appears to be a defective USB port. When we plug it in we get no charge indicator on the screen, and our DC power supply has no draw on it. We'll try replacing the port to see if that fixes the issue.

I can't thank you enough! I purchased my part from Amazon for $11.49 with tools. I also purchased a mobile phone repair kit for another $9.63 and a soldering mat for $6.99. I watched your video several times along the way and I got it repaired with the new part! I was so excited I had to pour myself a drink and celebrate. It's charging just fine now. Thank you so much! I brought my TCL 10 Pro phone to the shop six months ago to repair the port and they charged me $80.00. I took it back to let them know it was only six months thinking they would offer a helping hand but they wanted another $80.00. I figured I would go online and find a video to see if I could do it myself. Your video gave me the confidence to do it! Thanks again!

No you don’t. Not if you are replacing the whole USB board. No soldering.
