    Where can I get a screen?

  • @VaanDiablo
    @VaanDiablo 16 дней назад

    Hey dude, long shot considering the age of the video, but you wouldn't happen to know if I messed up somewhere, would you? Best of my knowledge, the digitiser came off clean as a whistle, none of the ribbon cables seem damaged and I've tried reseating them, and the S6 shows up on a computer when plugged in, but the screen is just staying black constantly, no video to it. Any ideas? The screen was shattered, so I had to pop it out a little rougher but didn't break anything other than glass in the process, I made sure to be really careful. The only thing I can think of, as the screen had already stopped displaying anything before working on it, is that maybe it wasn't off when I worked on it. Would that cause any issues? Nothing on the screen (old or new) or digitiser could have shorted as I disconnected the primary ribbon cable first and last in disassembly and reassembly. Thanks for the video, was short, sweet, and did the job perfectly. I just didn't!

      Hi, so if it was on when you were working on it, that’s probably your issue. It very likely isn’t a huge problem, but what you want to do is perform a soft reset. Hold down volume down and power for about 20 seconds, or until you feel it vibrate briefly. Once you feel the quick pulse from the vibration motor, let go of the buttons. Hopefully your display will come back up. If not, either the ribbon cable isn’t inserted properly or there’s more damage to the tablet, but fingers crossed it’s neither of those. And thanks for the kind words about the video!

      @@cano.musics I’m not sure what you mean by “you made the last cable from the dock connector to mainboard wrong”, and having one battery disconnected is sufficient. As you can see it works at the end. 2 mistakes in one comment. But thanks for watching!!

      @cano.musics 23 дня назад

      @colchesterphonerepair3835 My friend it is working, this is correct. But you need to install the nfc first and then the flex cable from dock connector to the motherboard. Second, the battery you took off is not the battery which is connected to the front display. The battery which is connected to the front lcd is under the front lcd. Sorry i dont wanted to be offensive, only explain.

    Absolutely loved the video. Amazingly clear instructions and crystal clear footage! I was hoping you may be able to offer some guidance to me if you would be so kind. Long story short my S22 Ultra took a tumble breaking the back glass and damaging the mid frame around the lock/power button. The button itself is slightky bent and the damaged area is pinching the button itself in the down position so i intend on replacing this, the bigger issue I am facing is the phone no longer makes/recieves calls. We have also noticed that when plugged in its only intermittently fast charging. We have inspected the SIM tray, tried a different SIM, checked and blown out any possible fragments of glass, reset network settings all to no avail. I am of the view that this exact fix needs to take place (plus the button) to solve my issue. What are your thoughts? Again, thanks for the video!

    When they say God works in mysterious ways i believe it now. Since the start of this year ive been having network issues on my s22 ultra. I googled every where and read many posts about the issue all blaming an update. I had finanly given up. Until 2 weeks when i wanted to remove my sim on my phone and i didnt have the sim tool,i used some clippers only to break the sim holder in half and with my sim stuck in my phone i pried them out which damaged those pins that hold a sim card in the phone. When i put the sim back my phone couldnt recognise the sim. Since im a DIY guy, i googled the part i need to buy and went to Sunsky to buy it,after i came to this video and read comments that replacing that part fixes network issue, 1 hour ago i received the charging port part,replaced it and now im happy my network issues are gone. 😊😊😊😊😊😊i had to ask people with cheap phones to hotspot for too long.
