whats the difference between the washurn c5ce and the Cordoba c5ce, is the washburn a clone of the corboda?? if so is it a good clone?? I currently own the yamaha c40 and it sounds beatiful but has neck bowing issues, and does not have a pick up which i really am looking for. . .Im torn betweent the washburn, coreboda and c40x [ the c40 with a pick up] I appreciate any advice you can recomend. .
Any thoughts on the C5 compared to the GK Studio Flamenco guitar? What’s the draw of Flamenco guitars, is there any need for one if I won’t be carving up the wood with my fingernails? Also, I have to ask about your accent, are you English-born American or an American-born Englishman? I am the former and have a hybrid accent similar to yours.
The C5 series gets good... there are better ones, but for most players, it is plenty good enough and affordable. I got a Fusion12 Orchestra CE with spruce top and Brazilian back/sidesr for cheap ... hardly used and it is nearly like a luthier made guitar (my pal makes real custom classicals and those electrics seen in Lindy Fralin's videos)
Love mine. The only issue I had was the bridge popped off a few months after I bought it. Had to take it back to guitar center to be glued back on.
Yes, that can happen when it moves from one climate to the other. I hope GC did a good job.
Just picked up one of these and very good condition for 200 from guitar center.
Good on you!
What strings would you recommend for this guitar that are easy to play? Thank you
I buy the D'Addario Classic Nylon - they aren't too expensive and are decent for the money.

No it's not the same - the Cordoba is much better. I would go with a Cordoba or check out the Kremona models for a replacement.
Plz what’s the difference between c5 ce and c5 cet ?
CE is cutaway electric - not sure what the T would be for.
T stands for "thin body", a more compact version ,so be careful when ordering one
Will this c5 ce be able to play flamenco with agressif sound?
If you lower the action like a flamenco - I don't see why not.
Is it made in china or indonesia?
I think they are made in various places.
A guy is selling one for $50 should I get it?
Depends what shape it's in. If it's in good condition then that's a bargain. Even if it just needs a set up that's a bargain.

Not really - unless you just like the sound of it. Flamencos are usually set up lower so they buzz a bit - classicals are more pristine.
great intro passage!
Thanks!
Is this guitar also a flamenco guitar?
No - but they do make a couple of flamenco models.
Great will it play alone?
No - it needs a player.

$1050 in australia.. on special for about $890.
Sounds high but I suppose it's because it's imported.

Agreed - good value - reliable guitar.
Beautyful guitar,i wish have one,cheer.
Glad you like it - they are very reliable.
rosewood fingerboard, not ebony yet
Long gone but I think it was Rosewood.
Can you replace the nylon strings with steel strings or is that not suggested?
Not suggested. Classical guitars are not designed to handle the tension of steel strings.
Don't ever do that on any classic guitar, it will bend the neck
A reader too ... best you can have a lot of interesting conversations ...
Very true - thanks for watching.
Nice playing... good to see that you don't have to have 14 inch long fingernails to play classical... Cheers!
Yes there are a lot of good 'tips only' players on RUclips.
I can't make out if you're Scottish, English or American.
😂
English!

Cheers!
Fuck, i thought Lars Ulrich finally thaught himself to play
