Awesome mural! If this is brushed on will it create texture of level out? I'm thinking of using it over a small detailed acrylic art piece that I will be outside on a surface that will get handled a lot. I was going to epoxy it but since it yellows I decided not too. Then thought about automotive clear.....but leaning towards using this muralshiel if it's a durable layer and super clear. Do you have any thoughts on that?
Mural Shield would work and you can brush it on. I would use a foam brush however to get that even spread. You can also pick up a water based spar urethane from Home Depot or Lowes. That would be the cheaper option
@@JessePerryArt thank you! I'm checking out that Spar Urethane! Looks like it comes in water and oil based...I'd prob need the water so it doesn't yellow, have you ever used the water based spar urethane? How well does it hold up outside....seems like so many water based products just aren't very durable.
@@stephenwhite5444 If it’s a permanent outside piece, I would use the mural shield. But if it’s a canvas piece that will be indoors, I would use the spar urethane
My muralshield says do not paint or roll and use acetone rated pump-up sprayers. Is that hdx sprayer you used acetone rated? If not, no issues?
@@jessicapicone4010 Yes, this one was rated for acetone. And yes, definitely only use the sprayer.

Hey!
Is it weatherproof, rain resistant, and uv resistant?
Yes indeed it is!
