PV module splintered - throw it away or does it still perform?

PV modules damaged on the glass can still be operated with a loss of power. In the long term, however, water penetration would destroy the electronic components. It therefore makes sense to reseal the glass surface. The sealant must be translucent, transparent and UV-resistant.
