Tip for cleaning a petrol tank is to throw a heap of nuts and washers in with your vinegar and shake it up, it gets all the heavy scale off. The nuts and washers just come out when you tip it out 👍love your work mate 👌🇦🇺
Looks really nice guys good job. That Petrol tank was really nasty!! So jealous of the good weather you guys get over there for riding. Wish it was like that in the UK. Safe riding guys 👍
thanks still have to install my aftermarket seat and do a few touch ups to the tail but the bike has come far. thanks for following the channel so cool seeing subscribers from other countries
Electrolysis method works better than vinegar method. I did both on my 89 Gsx750f's tank and i used Double Strength Cleaning vinegar first. Wasnt entirely satisfied with the results....then i watched Brickhouse Builds (highly recommended viewing) Electrolysis vid......did that and it was a massive improvement.
Thanks for the information I was thinking about going the electrolysis route but I already bought all the vinegar and baking soda I will keep this in mind for future projects though
