I Took Alexis to the Desert.. (Hard Enduro on Cheap Trail Bikes)

- Would you take your girlfriend on a dirt bike ride like this? I sure would, and despite what a lot of you keyboard dorks will say she learned some extremely valuable skills.
We start out easy on some jeep trails then eventually stumble across some single track carved into the desert hills. It brought us to a wash filled with sharp jagged rocks that proved to be a test to both of us on these cheap Honda trail bikes.
All in all these modified CRF250F bikes performed amazing and I cannot wait for the next adventure.

i gotta say... i've been watching you guys for 3 years off and on, and Alexis?! you are killing it!! great riding!!! you've come a long way!!! well done!
Thank you! I appreciate that, got a lot more to learn but excited to practice!
Alexis is a natural on the motorcycle and on camera. This was great footage.
Remember watching your videos when Alexis started riding trails and here she is on a gnarly single track. Be safe and ride free!
What a fun adventure. I gotta give Alexis credit, Much improved hard Enduro skills. Luv Tanners coaching as well. It reminds me of proper riding skills. Great video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd like to see the Beta 300 sometime as well
I enjoyed all of it except for the burnt clutch smell Lol😂❤
We will see how long they hold up😂
@@AdventureDaily That was my question. How many clutches do you guys go through? that is torcher for the clutch. wow. 🙂
shes gotten a lot better. keep having fun yall!
The Trans Jarvis comment was classic, tell Alex Jenner to keep up the good work
I told him I don’t want that to be my nickname 😅 but thank you!
Lex is getting better and better.
I'm surprised you didn't have a few dozen Rattkesnakes jump at you thru all that.
I myself wouldn't do any of that, I'd smash the sprocket or worse.
Congrats! Very cool!
This was stressful to watch but entertaining af 😂😂 cool to see Alexis laugh and tough it out unlike most ladies, cool ride!
Or men. 😂😂
Love it. Need more uploads man
Working on it! Should be back up to 3 a week by the end of the month.
... I watched to the 10:00 mark then I had to leave.
You two are having too much fun.
That is so awesome that you ride together!!!!!!!!
#loveit
. Jeff .
Trans Jarvis! 😂 glad to see you guys are having fun and working those Hondas they love it 💚 can’t wait for more brother
Thanks Noob! More coming soon, one big playground out here!
Alexis is killing it!
That’s some ruff riding. Rocks and sand are tough. Tell Lex she needs some high heel riding boots. She has improved 1000%. Is she still working?
Not currently but still has a job if that makes sense 🤔 we have talked about high heel riding boots but sounds like a recipe for a broken ankle as well. haha
You two look great on the 250F. With the street conversion you've done on these, I think yous have found the perfect setup for your situation. & it's great to see you both out riding together!
Thank you for that!! Awesome you see the vision.
You really caught the grade of the hills on the camera well in this video. And love the preacher hell naw to the snake !
I feel Alex's pain being short myself. I ride in places like this all the time on both DRZ400S and KDX220R. I solved the shortness problem by (internally) reducing the suspension on both bikes by 50mm (2-in). This is not difficult to do and springs were selected for my weight and riding locations/style/habits. I cut the seats down, too. Whereas I liked my bikes before shortening the suspension, I LOVE them now. I have so much more fun!
You guys rock with these CRF250's , those lashes in that space will take some getting used to lol
That is so awesome that you have someone that actually wants to go out and ride with you that would be great.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ this really warmed my heart 😊❤. My girl is in trouble 😂..... a challenge is up
Awesome ! I'm gonna call Alexis "Alexis Braap" like I said in a live stream. She has really gotten good !
Thanks Ronin!! She is constantly learning, just needs to get out more.
That was awesome, you guys sure ride good and have fun I love you videos keep the videos coming there great, looks like stock exhaust, without the inner baffles out?
Alexis did great!
This is the terrain all around my place, I wish for dirt like you usually ride. Fun afternoon.
There is definitely a balance, it would be nice for everybody to experience all the terrains sometime in their life for sure.
Glad I found you guys, you're awesome., me and my little brother both have single track 250fs the same. Best bikes ever. Curious, what made you get rid of the ricochet off-road aluminum skid plate your bought your bike with?? I have the same one and love it minus the missing linkage guard.
Alexis was killin it out there! Pretty impressive clutch work through that rocky terrain 💪🏼. If you're looking for similar terrain, just not as dangerous (fewer sprained thumbs & knees) check out Gypsum City OHV.
You pair are a awesome couple.. luv the content all the way from Cheshire in the UK
Loving the 250f content.
One of the first times I’ve ever ridden a dirt bike was with my dad on a sand dune in Utah.
Coral pink, and he had me run his 1976 TL250.
Enjoyed your video 😊 Can't wait to move to Mexico with my fam! I just wanna ride and fish till I die haha
Geezuz Alexis is a Soldier!!! What an absolute champion to keep charging through… she is a keeper !
Love the helmet! I use the exact same one color and all 🤘
That gram Jarvis pic was hilarious 😂
Alexis was killin it!
🤘🏻🙌🏻
Those sump guards, bash plates are getting a work out - How are the plastic plates holding up??
Interested to know.
I always used Aluminium ( Alooooominum ) but you get a lot of engine noice reverb with the Aloy amplifies the engine noise.
Impressed with how far Alexis has come. Congrats 🎉
You guys are in Stef and my stomping ground! Well, sort of. We actually live down in Southeastern Arizona near Pearce. Come on down, we've got 40 acres in full hookups in the middle of nowhere. The rides the FE350s, I have the KTM 500 EXCF. Good growing Alexis! I'm not sure if you'll inspire my wife, or just get her to say hell no!
Pretty cool stuff, weather certainly is a lot better than Ohio .
Well done lex great part is when you
Go back and ride your 300 you will be so much better rider from
All this riding you are doing on the 250
Was that really even a trail? That stuff was gnarly! You guys like it out there. I hope the thumb is good!
A game trail😂 I think we will have to start a dedicated series. Just a sprain thankfully!
Alexis, you did awesome! That's a lot harder for shorter people, so no shame in dropping the bike a few times.
A little better clutch / throttle control, and you won't be dropping the bike anymore! It just takes practice!
Thank you! The height thing certainly doesn't help 😅more practice for sure!
Can I put that head light on my 2017 250l?
Feels like first gear is very long and the clutch need often in the rocks. On my DR350 i gear so low i never need my clutch so often and can even "walk with the bike" without touch my clutch.Even my KlR 250 is so low geared i can turn my handelbar to final stop and turn one hand no clutch circles. Its very helpfull at rocky steep climbs ,sometimes the bike can ride like a tractor steep rocky trails only i need to concentrate balance and throttel because non clutchwork was necessary.I never burn a clutch on any of my bikes in 10 years and i doo often technical ridingin the forests.
She's a badass....get it!
Cool ride, Lex is a trooper. She needs something with a lower seat height, She would get better faster and have more confidence. At least if you're going to ride that kind of terrain. With the pivot turn and slow wheelie skills, I thought someone else was on the bike in the rocks. Sorry Lex but the "Transjarvis" was pretty funny
They really isn't much with a lower seat height on full size wheels, lowering it loses the ground clearance. She will get the hang of it all, practice makes perfect. Thanks for tuning in 👍🏻
How did you lower her 250f if she's 5ft? Lowering links? I'm 5'3 and 250f is too high for me. Thanks
Dude, I’m not gonna lie, watching these videos is like me living an alternate fantasy life, because my wife would never do this….
My wife would do it for 12 seconds until she got hurt then never again.
Yes, my wife has taken her CR230L and Beta 300 XTrainer on some crazy stuff! Good for your girlfriend learning the tough way!
I here the 250F is even smaller frame size than the beta x trainer?
Hers is lowered so it is pretty close, the X-Trainer is much lighter though.
Looks more like a “game trail” to me 😂😝
Tanner's game trail adventures!!
The left hand subframe grab save
What helmet does Lex have? I like the visor and helmet combo its got!
Great Video! Why don't like Alexis driving through Flowers?
Nicely filmed video! Alexis deserves massive props for hanging in there, that was some tough terrain in spots.
Turnabout is fair play though, I am sure there is something that Alexis is good at that is torture for you. For me and my wife that is Mahjongg. She loves it, I don't, but I sometimes play the game with her and her friends anyway, because she loves it 😆
Helps to know the dif between trails and trials bike categories. You just change the ai to ia ...
I this riding on public lands or private?
You’re living the dream bro! 🔥
Alexis could maybe benefit from shaving an inch or so of foam from the seat. Retaine ground clearance and suspension setup but get her feet a bit closer to the ground
Your videography is a cut above
shes tough!
She crushed it! Love the "Oh look at the beautiful flowers, I think I'll ride wheelies throught it!' Fun video to watch.
250f or 250x your thoughts?
Paper beats rocks.
These trail riding vids are great. Alexis is getting better every vid it seems. I may pick up a little 250f just for the trail too. Look like simple and fun bikes. Don’t need a full blown race bike to have fun.
Facts! 🤘🏻 Hope you do, they're a blast!
Hello to you Both! I have been following you since you bought your CRF 300L and you were off near the stream with a beer. I have thoroughly enjoyed your channel. It’s a great distraction and motivates me to get out and ride. I was fortunate enough to buy a 2022 Camo KLX 300 and then a 2020 KLX 250 with lots of extras geared for off road. I live in Vermont and bought them mainly for riding the dirt roads as this state has more dirt roads than paved, especially near me, 8 miles from Canada. I got the 250 for friends to ride. I am so happy you two are enjoying your life together, and are co making videos, what a wonderful dream! I have street bikes, and I think my next bike will be a Beta 500 RR-s and I may want to get that Honda you two are riding now for an off road fun bike, I wouldn’t mind dropping. I have wanted to write you on every video I have watched, but haven’t. Tomorrow is my Birthday and I’m going skiing and then riding for the first time this year as there is still snow in my Yard. To Sum it Up, Thank You Both for being an inspiration to me, I want to push it forward and do something good for someone else just on the sheer joy I feel you two represent. Thanks, I hope to meet you two sometime along the journey, Stay safe and Thank You for the fun you inspiratio 20:21 n!
Pardon my grammar glitch and the end.
Hello! Thanks for commenting and being a part of the channel! Happy Belated Birthday! 🎉 I hope that you had fun riding, you can never have too many bikes if you're able to get that 500 haha. That's awesome you feel that way, we would love to make it out to Vermont someday!
a bit much risk? its hard when the bike is heavy and your arent very strong or tall... always hard to balance these things on unknown trails, though. great 10/10 on perseverance my gf would have cried lol
tanner ,i cant believe you two are still on hondas ,i can think of at least 10 better dirt bikes than hondas ,to each his own
I think Alexis cracked that rock with her GoPro😜. That was tough riding but she did great.
That was a good test for all the bike protection.
I think so too!😂 Was definitely a good torture test and everything held up great minus her thumb haha (just a sprain thankfully).
I love this video but there's no denying she'd be happier on a klx 230 or get her a lowering link
What area? No 4x4's, must have been a weekday.
Those rocks don’t look fall friendly. PS the gym is paying off brother
💪🏻 I'm trying man 😅 but thanks!
fuckin good ridin there!
Did I catch yall were in Ohio? I’d be interested in tagging up for a ride out a Wayne.
Hydraulic clutch would come in handy.
What about the Honda with four wheels😉
My first time riding I ran into a barb wire fence I couldn’t see and sliced my face open like a cheese slicer, needless to say it would not have been great content 😂
barbed wire. Hence the Barbs on the fence line. 🙂
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv dumb spell check got me again 🫠
@@mantiswind I hate when that happens. I have to proof read everything I write. It looks ok when I do it, but when I reread it, some words are misspelled and some missing. Old age I guess. 🙂
Lower the air maybe stop the spining a little
Tubeless? Needs a tube for dirt bike. Tires are to full. Hoping around to much
Can't run much lower than 3psi bud.
I've never ridden in a desert before. Definitely something that's on my bucket list. Those wildflowers look awesome.
I’m born and raised in Az, only ever ridden in the desert lmao it’s defiantly my happy place!!
It's definitely a different experience compared to what we are used to as well, I hope you get to someday!
@@AdventureDaily wait until you run into a few hundred illegal immigrants. then what?
Alexis did fantastic! Far better than I could have. But in my defense, I am old and wake up in the morning feeling like I just did a ride like that! Great video guys!
The Honda bikes are impressive so far to me I run ktm dirtbikes but been wanting to get some mild 4t bikes and im impressed!
Must’ve forgot the cheap trail bikes at home
$5k vs $13k for a new KTM I’d consider these cheap for being this new.
Where are you at in Ohio? I’m from the NE part.
Not even necessary.
Bonne chance 🌹
You guys were incredible on this Single track Enduro ride on the Honda 250 F 👍
Incredible woman.
How do people find that fun riding on rocks, trails on terrain that you can have fun is one thing but struggling over rocks just seems like hell not fun.
Cheap bikes!!??? In my country those are the mid expensive ones😂😂
Killer footage Tanner. Alexis....dude, You killed it...That was some nasty rock trails.
I could see the trail of plastic I would leave if I took my 250 Rally through that . I think Alexis did fine.
Their might have been some shreds left of Alexis's skid plate 😅 but year she did great! Thanks for watching!
"Oh man. Look at all this beauty." As you wheelie circles around in it, and trample all the flowers down.
Way to go! 🤔
They will be gone in a week lol.
Some of those real rocky areas are just too rough for those kinds of bikes plus I wouldn't want to ride on those rocks anyway no matter what kind of bike I had but thats just my opinion.
how tall is Alexis
I’m 5’ 🎉
You 2 ever want to ride old strip jobs and you are near Louisa Kentucky let me know
Need some trials riding classes.
Just need more seat time!
69th Like, Nice
Would a Rekluse help ??
Help what?
@@AdventureDaily Help Alexis in the tight stuff... oh I see you already commented below Thanks for the videos
Suck an amazing video. Makes me so happy! Alexis is destroying that hard enduro.
Alexis would benefit from a recluse clutch.. Then she could advance her ride skills without clutchtastrophe..
Much improved though👍
I disagree, just needs practice like everyone. It doesn't matter what parts you add, more seat time = more progression. Let the gal' ride!
Cheap??
$5,000 less than a new KTM or other "performance" trail bike, I'd say so.
Yeah I got ya I was just wondering like man you must be rich
Trans Jarvis is just plain wrong....
Women have weak ligaments. I strongly recommend she wears braces. Especially on boulders.
