Katya never having seen Mean Girls is WILD to me; I could voiceover the entire movie from memory at this point. So fun to see her true first time reaction and discover all the pop culture references that came from it
Amanda Seyfried it's living her best life; she it's part of one of the most influential and revered comedy modern films, primetime emmy winner and had a nomination last year for the Academy Awards for Supporting Actress; an ILLUSTRIOUS career at 36. Edit: i don't know how I forgot about the large cult following and critically acclaimed feminist horror comedy movie, Jennifer's Body.
I did the print journalism thing once in middle school but only towards the mean girls. They were scared and backed off bullying everyone. No one knew it was me until a year later. It definitely works to cause a stir in school...
I LOVE Katya's knee slaps as she laughs when she's really amused. And Trixies big Haaa ha laugh. And Katya not getting the most quoted lines of this movie.
You can tell Katya was a Goth when she was young. The way she talked about the Plastics pretty well sums up the way most of us Goths felt about the "popular" people in general. To us, they were the losers. And to be fair....at thirty five now, the popular people I grew up with have not disappointed in the assessment young me made of them a century or so ago. 😉😂 Also, Trixie talking about her mom picking her up from school hit home for me. Replace the cigarette with dip hanging out of her mouth and a housecoat with clothes that had bleach spots all over them and it was my childhood experience. You gotta move fast to jump in the vehicle when the breaks don't work for sure. Good times. 😂😂😂
honestly this was probably the most quotable movie of its generation. starting high school around the time it came out meant that like half the conversations I had were just full of mean girls quotes.

When he is having a bad day, I always ask my roommate: "You wanna do something fun? You wanna go to Taco Bell?"
I feel personally attacked by the fact that I was someone who came out as a lesbian in highschool and did, in fact, end up with a GLAAD sponsorship because of it. Can't believe everyone else also got a Fitbit.
Did you want one? Apple watch seems more all-in-one.
So good
Did you keep your receipts? Maybe you can claim it lol
The heck, this is actually happening? Where?!
Trixie made me laugh out loud during a staff meeting when she said this.
As a person of colour I will say that cafeteria scene was also super icky back then too , it's just that you had to stay quiet about it ...everyone gets to be identified by some other type of trait and you're reduced to being the black kid...not a nerd, not a jock , not even the weird group ....just the black kids .....this stuff used to eat you up in the 90s and early 2000s, silently. And it wasn't real life per se that was the problem , it's just that Holywood was kind of really racist in how they would write about and portray things ....so glad this is now changing !
That’s so sad I’m so sorry
hate to say we've gone backwards. most high schools i know the black kids separate themselves from other cliques
@@stainedglassleaves1130that’s probably because they feel the most comfortable around each other. they don’t have to worry about racism like this
The nerd Asians.. the cool Asians... The black hotties.... So I'm sorry, what were u saying? U even got a positive one. My god. Boooo fucking hoo
And all you tards above me pretended to miss that

Katya realizing that like 50% of iconic memes originated from this movie was so fantastic 😂
When Katya said "We have to talk about..." and all the clothing trends, my mind IMMEDIATELY went to Willow Pill's entrance look on RPDR 🤣
same girl. same lol
as soon as she said "platform flip flops" lol
“We have to empower nerds to dress like sluts and empower sluts to be smart” is now my life philosophy and I will serve this purpose until I die
Watching Katya’s genuine reaction to Mean Girls and being like “oh so that’s what that is?” is so funny to me because I watched this movie when I was like 9 or 10 not even knowing what half the jokes meant until I was in my early 20’s💀💀💀
Katya- "I've dumbed myself down for people who weren't as smart as me."
Trixie-
"Who were these people?"👁👄👁
The goldfish?
I watched Mean Girls so many times now but seeing Katya reacting to everything for the first time made me laugh so many times..
I need the uncut version of this I can watch the whole movie 🎬 with Trixie and Katya doing the commentary 🤞
They could literally charge for it. It was my first thought.
Why is Netflix not doing this? That’s what we want. F* new movies! We want Trixie and Katya commenting EVERYTHING.
Pls do this part of the Netflix catalog
i dont think they show them the full length
the final scene of Mean Girls ends at 1h 33mins and we were given very nearly 33 minutes of them talking about this movie. literally 1/3 of a film's runtime spent on it for this episode. as they should have. truly iconic cinema.✨
My son's pediatrician is named Regina George. Well Dr. Regina George. I found that so amusing. Plus.. she is wonderful pediatrician and extremely kind.
Trixie giving hot 70’s malibu barbie and katya giving hot trophy wife to a celebrity both looking fabulous as always
Katya’s social awareness is too strong for this movie 😅. Iconic movie
Iconically cringe?
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 dude, you don't get it, that's fine, stop being pressed about it lol
Trixie calling Katya out for not liking the Plastics at 8:36 is so funny because Teixie would be one of the Plastics😂
I don’t think so cause she is not as confident or mean when she’s around violet who is an actual mean girl lol
Katya never having seen Mean Girls is WILD to me; I could voiceover the entire movie from memory at this point. So fun to see her true first time reaction and discover all the pop culture references that came from it
👆🏾👆🏾congratulations 🎊 💝your RUclips profile have been selected among my shortlisted winners 🥂🌹🌹
Katya saying the anatomically accurate “MONS PUBIS” sent me
i love that the captions say “BLONDE WOMAN HEE-HAW” when katya laughs
Amanda Seyfried it's living her best life; she it's part of one of the most influential and revered comedy modern films, primetime emmy winner and had a nomination last year for the Academy Awards for Supporting Actress; an ILLUSTRIOUS career at 36.

The fact that Trixie only knows how to say "goodbye" in a civilized, calming voice, is all thanks to Katya. I mean, isn't that the real lesson here?
I did the print journalism thing once in middle school but only towards the mean girls. They were scared and backed off bullying everyone. No one knew it was me until a year later. It definitely works to cause a stir in school...
Katya’s little Dorian Corey tribute was so sweet! “If you shoot an arrow and it goes real high, hooray for you!” … the power of Paris is Burning! 😍❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I LOVE Katya's knee slaps as she laughs when she's really amused. And Trixies big Haaa ha laugh. And Katya not getting the most quoted lines of this movie.
When Katya said in her high school Gretchen would be “Weiner B*tch!” I DIED!💀
You can tell Katya was a Goth when she was young. The way she talked about the Plastics pretty well sums up the way most of us Goths felt about the "popular" people in general. To us, they were the losers. And to be fair....at thirty five now, the popular people I grew up with have not disappointed in the assessment young me made of them a century or so ago. 😉😂
Also, Trixie talking about her mom picking her up from school hit home for me. Replace the cigarette with dip hanging out of her mouth and a housecoat with clothes that had bleach spots all over them and it was my childhood experience. You gotta move fast to jump in the vehicle when the breaks don't work for sure. Good times. 😂😂😂
my boyfriends dad was the MUA for mean girls and did cady’s halloween look my life has come full circle
Does he have an insta!!! So exciting
its been 6 months are u still together are u married now?
I can't stop laughing at Katya getting scared at 15:53
“I think if you hang out with Lindsay Lohan long enough, you just turn gay” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 IM DYING LMAO
I can't believe they left out "omg Danny DeVito! I love your work!"
I thought katya would've found it hilarious lol
Yessssssss
honestly this was probably the most quotable movie of its generation. starting high school around the time it came out meant that like half the conversations I had were just full of mean girls quotes.
Im so sad they didn't include Gretchen's Caesar monologue. I know they would've cracked TF up with Ms. Weiners iconic scene!
Omg true! And aso the "u go Glenn coco!"
Trixie saying this movie is 20 years old sent me into orbit (even though it’s true)
Technically its 18 years old, but its close enough
it sent me into orbit coz it was made the year i was born - making me realize that i’m gonna be 20 soon 😭

11:59 I can not believe how Katya PERFECTLY described the early 2000s experience. I live in Europe but this was IT.
30:06 “blonde women giggle” iconic caption
30:00 my fav thing about Trixie is her insistence on repeating something she’s already said about herself and Katya once again taking it in one ear and out the other before it cycles again
Tina Fey is such a great writer and this movie was inspired by the book QUEEN BEE. Worth a read, it’s wild.
