G'day Rusty well done. Great idea having the defib set up like that and that campground was very impressive. Goid idea not walking through the cave in the dark 🐍👌

G'day Bernie. I've never seen a defib at a camp ground before but it surely is a great idea. I'm glad we did the cave walk 'properly' as it was well worth it.

Thanks for the video. This is going to be my first stop in a couple of weeks on our way up to the Kimberley. Was supposed to be going to Lucky Bay but the cyclone has changed those plans 😔

Have stayed at Sandy Cape a few times, have driven through Milligans Island to check it out. But not stayed there Yet. Always say must go there but some reason never get there. Would great for our kayaks there also. It is a well laid out campsite with space between each site

I think there might be a bit more shade at Sandy Cape, but yes, Milligan Island camp ground is well laid out and maintained. The bays in the area are quite sheltered until the sea breeze comes in, so kayaking is a big YES.

@@RustysOutbackAdventures We have a15ft poptop caravan, an old Millard, upgrade from our basic camper trailer. would be advisable then to roll awning up in the evenings then

The camping area is behind the sand dunes so there's some protection from the wind.

Looks like an awesome trip mate.
Thinking of going here during Easter , would you have any idea what the weather is like then?
    And much 4wd tracks around??

It's a nice place with lots to see and do around the local area. You can drive along the beach, both north and south, but there are also areas where the limestone rocks come all the way to the water's edge, making it impossible to get around.
If you're thinking of going to Stockyard Gully caves, the last 5kms is 4WD only.
As you can't book in advance, it's first in best dressed, so it might be busy during the Easter long weekend.
Check the Bureau of Meteorology website and search for Jurien Bay forecast, which will be close enough to the weather at Milligan Island.
